“Really? Since when do I need to tell you or the other boys where I’m going?” she shot back.

Caleb took a step towards her. Holding her ground, he gave her a slight grin.
No, not the damn grin!
No, she wasn’t going to fall for it.

“We all care about you, Sage. We want to know where you are at all times. What if something had happened tonight? None of us would have known where you were.” She huffed. Caleb always pulled the guilt trip. She straightened her back, telling herself that it wouldn’t work.

“I’m a grown-ass woman, Caleb. I don’t need a fucking babysitter every time I go out.”

“Watch your language,” Caleb growled out.

Laughing, she turned around and stomped towards the door.

“Where the hell are you going?” Caleb asked.

Grabbing the handle, and without turning, she answered him, “Back out there so I can dance. That’s what I came here for, Caleb.” The door opened slightly, then his large hand was there, pushing it closed. His body was flush against hers; the warmth from his body seeped into hers. Breathing in his scent and basking in his warmth, she stood there frozen, as his hand slid down the door and covered hers. His finger traced over one of hers as he lifted her hand from the door and placed it at her side, holding it there.

For only a second, she enjoyed his body pressed to her back. Then she snapped, hating the way he was treating her. Pushing back against him, he stumbled, shocked at her movement. His arm shot out, wrapped around her waist and lifted her off the ground.

“Stop manhandling me, you idiot!” she screamed.

She kicked her legs back, connecting with his shins and making him hiss at the pain, but his arm tightened around her.

“Stop.”

She froze in Caleb’s grip. He spun her around, and there stood the rest of them. Logan, Zeb and Mac.

Well fuck me, literally!

They all frowned at her.

She wondered how in the hell they had all got in the room with them.

Looking around the room for a hidden door, she was disappointed when she couldn’t see one. Her eyes landed back on Logan. She knew the girls stood in shock, taking in how Logan was acting towards her.

Without taking his eyes off her, Logan spoke, “Zeb, get one of the boys to take Bri and Lilly home.”

Bri was about to say something but Logan stopped her with one look. He was extremely pissed. They all knew that look and they all usually stayed clear of it. At that moment, Sage wished she wasn’t there, but back at home curled up, eating her favourite ice cream and watching a movie.

Not a word was said as Zeb took Bri and Lilly through the hidden door to be taken home. Sage glanced toward Mac, his arms crossed over his chest, showing off the amazing artwork of his sleeve tattoos. His short dark hair glistened in the light, like he just had a shower before he’d arrived at the club. Every single one of them had Harper Security shirts on, and besides Logan, all had ripped jeans and boots.

Damn it, why did ripped jeans and boots turn her on so badly? It really wasn’t the fact of the clothing they were all wearing; it was the Harper boys themselves. They were all gorgeous. Logan with his bright green eyes, dimples on each side of his edible mouth and dirty blond hair, down to the scruff covering his face. He had his black business shirt rolled up to his elbows, his muscles flexing as her eyes roamed over him.

Caleb had the same blue eyes as Zeb, but he had short black hair; it was always so damn shiny. Giggling to herself, Logan frowned at her, making her giggle even louder.

“Fuck! How much has she had to drink?” Logan asked.

“A bottle of tequila between the three, and two trays of Cock-sucking Cowboys, that I know of,” Caleb replied as he placed her on the ground, holding her while Sage stood on wobbly legs.

“Oh, you said cock.” She lost it. She bent over holding her stomach as she laughed. As she bent over laughing, her ass pushed back and pressed against Caleb’s crotch.

“Jesus Christ, Sage,” Logan mumbled.

“We need to take her home,” Caleb said.

Her head shot up. “No, I’m not finished having fun.” Her stomach twisted, but she pushed it aside.

“Sweetheart, you’re drunk and need to go home to sleep it off,” Logan whispered.

She didn’t want to go home. “Fuck you and the rest of you all. I’m going back out there to dance like I came here for.” She spun around too quickly, stumbling as she lost her footing, and slammed into the door.

“Fuck!” Logan yelled.

Both Logan and Caleb moved towards her as she held her head.

“Don’t you dare fucking come near me, either of you.” she screamed. Fuck, her head hurt. She held her palm to her forehead. She hated that they treated her like a child. She wasn’t. She wanted to go and dance, and they were stopping her from having the fun she wanted.

Mac pushed past them and stood in front of her. She backed away, slamming against the door as his face leaned down towards hers. His lips, inches away from hers, his breath gliding over her lips.

“Listen to me carefully, Sage. You are going home whether you bloody like it or not. I will even carry you out of here, but if you make a fuss about it, you will not like what will happen if I am the one that has to drop you off at home. Understand?” he gritted out.

She paled and nodded her head. She was confused by his actions, but holy shit if his breath on her lips wasn’t a jolt to her system. He was being a jerk. Moving away from her, he never once took his eyes from hers. She felt the tear leak from the corner of her eye. Mac glanced down to where it was and frowned at her. He stepped forward, lifting his finger to her cheek.

She pulled back away from him. “I hate you,” she spat. She glanced at both Logan and Caleb. “I hate the both of you, too.” She swayed against the door, holding her stomach. Why did they have to be this way with her? Her head hurt from the stress of the thoughts running through it. It was like Logan was telling her something, but she couldn’t quite grasp what he actually meant. And the other fact, which wasn’t helping her head, was she was so turned on by all the testosterone in the room between them. She was humiliated that as soon as she noticed all of them in the room, her thoughts went that way.

Logan shot forward, as did Mac, but Sage moved out of their reach. Gripping the cabinet in the room, her hand slipped from it and fell forward. Closing her eyes as she didn’t want to see the impact, an arm shot around her, stopping her fall.

Pushing away from the body behind her, Sage spun to face whomever it was.

Logan stood there, running his fingers through his hair. In the state she was in, she wanted to do exactly that to him and more. But the thought of any kind of movement turned the contents in her stomach. Her hand shot to her mouth, and all three of them frowned at her. Logan stepped towards her carefully.

Before he could say anything to her, her hand fell from her mouth and bent forward as she spewed the alcohol from her system all over the front of Logan’s pants.

“Shit.”

She didn’t know who said it. A pair of hands held her hair from her face as she dry-heaved several times.

“I got you, spitfire.”

She was sure it was Logan who spoke.

Standing on shaky legs, she glanced around the room and back to Logan.

“I don’t feel too good,” she whispered. The worried look that covered Logan and Caleb’s face, and the way Caleb quickly moved towards her, had her mind in a fuzz as to why he was moving so fast. Everything became blurry, then black dots invaded her vision before everything completely went black around her.

CHAPTER
THREE

C
aleb and Logan both caught Sage as she fell forward. While she stood there, telling them that she didn’t feel well, her eyes rolled back into her head, and she started to fall towards the ground.

“Shit, shit, shit,” Logan cursed.

Caleb lifted her up and cradled her in his arms.

“This is fucked up,” Logan groaned.

“We need to get her home,” Caleb voiced.

“Yeah.” Logan voiced.

“You’re all a bunch of fucking pansies,” Mac interrupted with a growl.

Turning around, Logan faced his brother. “Why did you have to be so bloody hard on her?”

“Someone needed to be, and I knew none you were going to do it.”

Logan knew they were too soft on her. He couldn’t be harder on her; she was theirs to look after, whether she liked it or not.

Zeb came back into the room as Caleb stood near the main door with Sage still in his arms. He cradled her, like the precious thing that she was to them; they were all possessive over her.

“What the hell happened while I was gone?” Zeb questioned as he stood near Caleb. His hand lifted up and moved the fine blonde hair out of her face, before he then leaned down and lightly kissed her forehead.

Caleb growled, just enough for his own ears, but he knew Zeb had as well. This was going to be harder than he thought. All of them were possessive enough with her, but when she was this close to one of them, they all wanted to keep her to themselves.

“Caleb, cut the shit out, bro. It’s only us in the room.” Logan said as he shook his head at his brother.

Shifting her weight in his arms, although she weighed pretty much nothing to them, Caleb apologised, “Sorry, it’s a habit.”

Logan moved to stand near him and slapped him on the back. “I know, Caleb. We’re all the same with her, but you need to pull it in, right? Let’s get her home and sort this shit out. I’m sure we all agree that it’s time to talk about this?”

Caleb nodded.

“Fuck yeah, I don’t think I can wait too much longer,” Zeb grumbled.

Mac never said a word; he knew what was going through his head, and he assumed it was the same as the rest of them. His body had reacted the same when Zeb had kissed her; he saw it only for a second, and it was the same for all of them. Mac had never admitted it to himself or any of them.

Shaking his head, Logan took charge, “Caleb, you take her home in your truck. Zeb, let the others know they need to stay on, all of them, since we’re all leaving.” Glancing towards Mac, he asked, “Are you staying or are you finally going to admit what’s happening here?” He already knew the answer, but it never hurt to ask.

“Got other plans. I’m sure you all can sort her out between the three of you.” And with that, he left them all standing there.

Both Zeb and Caleb shook their heads. Mac was fighting it hard. Fuck, they all were. But it was time to stop holding back and let the little spitfire know what was going to happen from here on out.

“If the two of you have any more plans for tonight and possibly morning, you need to cancel them. We’re all sorting this out tonight, then come morning, spitfire will know exactly what’s going on,” he ordered. As the eldest, Logan always fell in to the role of leader.

“About fucking time,” Zeb groaned.

Zeb opened the door as Caleb carried Sage through. Logan followed closely behind, as did Zeb. Walking down the darkened corridor, they used the fire escape at the back, allowing them to exit in the car park. Caleb slid Sage into his truck as Zeb was jumping into his. Logan sat astride his motorcycle as both of them nodded his way. Starting the engine, both of the trucks came to life, then Caleb pulled out of the car park with Zeb in tow. Pulling his visor down, Logan took off after them; it was going to be the longest night of their lives, and he hoped to God that there wouldn’t be a fall out.

~~*~~*~~

S
age groaned as the light hit her face. Rolling over, she pulled the blanket with her, covering her face. She wondered why she felt so crappy. Racking her brain, she considered the previous night. What the hell happened last night? Rolling with the blanket, she pulled her feet up closer to her chest.
Shit!
Her body was aching in places that she had no idea would. Throwing herself onto her back, she stretched, still with her eyes closed. She heard the faint noise of a groan.
Wait! What?

Her eyes shot open as she sat up, and she gasped at seeing Caleb sitting in a chair in the room, his eyes glued to her. He was casually leaning back in the chair, arms resting on the side, and his legs crossed at the ankles. Her eyes travelled up from his feet, noticing that he had his work clothing on. As her eyes roamed over his jeans, there was quite a large bulge sitting there. Focusing on that area, Caleb’s hand slid down his body and stroked over the area; she couldn’t remove her eyes as he continued to move his hand.

Gulping, she moved her eyes to his. His eyes were hooded, his breathing coming in small pants as she stared at him.

Clearing her throat, which hurt like a bitch, she squeaked out, “Um, what are you doing here?” She glanced around the room and noticed she was in her own room,
thank God!
“And why are you in my bedroom?”

Caleb stood from his chair and stalked over towards her. His eyes never leaving hers, she gulped again.

“Morning, spitfire.” His voice and the way he used her nickname sent shivers all over her body. He sat beside her legs; his eyes roamed her body, making her flush. One of his hands stroked her ankle as he spoke to her. “How are you feeling, spitfire?”

Hot! My skin is tingling from you touching it!

“Um, a little thirsty,” she croaked.

“So am I, spitfire.” His hand slid up to her knee, stroking the inside of her thigh. Her legs fell apart, wanting him to go further. Swallowing the lump in her throat, she gripped the blanket in her hands, trying to control the urge to throw herself at him.

“Um, why are you here, and in my room, Caleb?” She whispered, somehow finding her voice.

Did something happen last night?
Jesus!
She couldn’t remember much from the day before, let alone the night. Her head began to throb.

“Lie back down so you can relax a little more, spitfire.” His voice travelled over her body, sending it up in flames.

Doing what he said, he moved up to her hip, his hand sliding further up the inside of her thigh. She moved her legs apart further and whimpered when his fingers lightly traced up over her hip.
