Bannon felt every pull on his thumb as though it was directly linked to his cock. His length swelled and pulsed inside Galen’s ass and finally exploded with enough force to steal the breath from his lungs.

“Bannon!” Galen threw his head back and screamed over and over as hot ropes of pearly semen jetted from his slit to splash over his belly and chest.

They slumped together, sweaty and gasping for breath, and Bannon couldn’t remember a time he’d ever been happier. Galen’s feelings of love and contentment washed over him, bathing him in light that warmed him right down his soul.

“Mine,”
Galen whispered inside his mind as he pushed up to brush his lips across Bannon’s.

“Mine,” Bannon said aloud. The journey ahead of them would be long and winding, but he looked forward to traveling it with his mate.

“I love you, Galen Charles. More than anything.” Galen’s smile stretched from ear to ear and his small hands came up to cradle Bannon’s face. “I love you, too, Bannon.”

Bannon hissed as his softening dick slipped out of Galen’s hole.

Wrapping his arms around his lover, he rolled to the side and pulled the man on top of him to drape across his chest. “Are ya cold?”

“A little,” Galen mumbled, tucking his arms between their bodies.

“It’s peaceful out here, though. I don’t want to leave just yet.” Gently stroking his mate’s hair, Bannon gazed up at the stars and sighed in contentment. They had a lot of work ahead of them, but just for a little while, he could forget that anything existed but the man in his arms.

“I can feel what you’re feeling,” Galen said, and Bannon could hear the smile in his voice. “I don’t really feel any different otherwise, though. I thought we were supposed to be all wicked powerful after we mated. Isn’t that why Torren was pushing it so hard?”

“I’m thinkin’ it was more so we could share powers. Then we can cover more ground by creating separate dreams. Do ya see what I’m sayin’?”

Galen nodded against Bannon’s chest. “Yeah, I get it. Will that really work?”

“We should probably test it before we go lookin’ for the Braddocks.”

“How about we test it now?”

Bannon chuckled and skimmed his fingers along the crease of Galen’s pert ass. He laughed even harder when he felt his mate’s cock began to stir and swell between them. “Somethin’ tells me ya might have trouble fallin’ asleep right now.”

“Mmm,” Galen purred as he began to rock his hips, rubbing his hard cock over Bannon’s abs. “Then I guess you’ll just have to wear me out, won’t you?”

With a playful growl, Bannon flipped them over and pinned his lover beneath him as he attacked his mouth hungrily. That was one challenge he was more than willing to accept.
