"No offence taken, but you are wrong." I smirk, lowering my eyelids to half-mast to let him know I will be playing whatever game he wants.

His one eyebrow rises, while his grin grows a bit bigger.

"I stand by what I said, you do make me want to come...to the bar." The juvenile pause after come was obviously meant for effect. The only effect it has on me is realizing he's an idiot. It makes sense, the hot ones usually are, but he's nice to look at and could still prove fun in bed. I decide to proceed, but with caution knowing I will have to dumb it down a bit for him.

I roll my eyes slightly, hoping he doesn't notice before responding.

"Come, uh, funny." No, not funny. Stupid actually.

"I offended you again, that's two for two. I seem to be off my game tonight."

I look up into his eyes there's the usual desire that accompanies the men as they try to woo me, but there is something else, concern or uncertainty, I'm not sure. I feel bad, perhaps he's just used to woman falling all over themselves for him and laughing at everything he says as if he's stand-up of the year.

"As I said before, I'm not offended. Just a little disappointed." I walk up so I am standing on just the other side of the bar from him to bring my point home. I don't mess with people or shy away from men. The more direct and articulate you are with what you want, the more likely they will do the same in return.

"You walk up looking sexy as fuck and hit on me -- you were hitting on me, correct?" His eyes widen, but he nods as his smile freezes into a look of shock. The good kind of shock.

"Good, that's what I thought. I would hate to misinterpret things, which can get embarrassing. Anyway, you're sexy, hitting on me then in one of the first lines you give me you joke about coming. What are you, eighteen? Or maybe you think I'm eighteen? I should specify I'm not. I'm thirty and not your average bimbo bouncing her tits to the beat of the music. So, if you need a drink the bartenders are over at the other end of the bar, I'm just a friend they let make her own drink" I hold up my martini, "So, if you excuse me I need you to move, so I can open the lid of the bar and slip past."

He steps back, still in a bit of shock. I scoot past and gently lower the wooden flap. I take a couple steps away when I hear him yell out.

"I'm sexy as fuck Pierce, I'm thirty two and you are?"

I stop as a small smile starts to creep across my face. Good boy, you are learning. Casually, I turn to see that he has moved closer to me. He is still about a foot away as I raise my glass to my lips and drink in the biting clear liquid while my eyes soak in the rest of his body. He's tall, like really tall. I'm five foot seven, and even in my pumps I have to angle my head up to look into his eyes.

My eyes grace over his powerful frame as his shirt and dark blue jeans stick to his flesh. His clothes are fitted, possibly even tailored, only tight where he wants them to be. I stop half-way up and admire the slight bulge growing bigger the longer I stare. I mask a smile by pushing the glass to my lips.

"Like what you see?" Pierce breaks through the haze of my heated survey. My eyes dart up to find him smiling with light laughter behind his words.

I shake my head and furrow my brow in mock disappointment.

"Now how can I answer that, Pierce, when I haven't seen everything? Turn." I twirl my finger in front of me to indicate what he must do to make me happy. He laughs heartily and throws his head back. God he's sexy! Oh, how his laugh could make mountains crumble.

Slowly he turns, raising his hand and running it through his hair while his other hand is tucked into his front pocket of his jeans. Most men would be mortified by modeling for me, turning awkwardly and not knowing where to place their hands, but not Pierce. This man worked it and it just makes me want him more. Oh, and that tight ass that I notice as he turns.

Pierce faces me again and steps a bit closer.

"Your verdict?"

"Definitely still sexy as fuck. To answer your earlier question, I'm Jos."

With that I look into his eyes which are starting to darken and I know it is my cue to get the games started. Oh, did you think I was already playing? No, that is just the warm-up.

I turn and walk away, heading back to my table where I see the boring couple and Luna looking annoyed with her head resting on her hand. I told her we shouldn't hang out with them, but she insisted. Suddenly I feel a hand grab my wrist and whip me around.

I am facing Pierce again, but this time he is pressing his body to mine. I can feel his breath spilling down my neck and the scent of his cologne, a woodsy crisp fragrance with a hint of rosemary.

Now that I am touching him I become aroused, like tenfold. I feel my heart pounding while my skin puckers to his touch as his free hand moves up and down my arm. Even this light caress feels amazing and I gasp at the intensity of sensation from the slight contact. As much as I want to keep this game going I'm afraid I don't have the strength.

I look up into his eyes, they are smoldering and hooded. He wants me bad. I have a feeling he doesn't want to play the game anymore either.

"Jos, what's that short for?"

"Josephine."

"Hmm. I like Josephine better. It's beautiful and powerful, just like you. I think I will be calling you Josephine from now on. Now that we have that established, come with me." He tugs my arm firmly, guiding me back towards the bar, past the bar, and into the back hall where the restrooms are.

Now that is no pick up line and I like it. I think he is starting to get me, which means he is listening to all of my signals. Good. Men never listen. They think they do, but in the end it's what they want to do to you, not what I enjoy. Disappointing to say the least.

Listening is a gift that everyone has the power to possess, but few do. It's not just about your ears and hearing what someone says to you, it's so much more. It involves sight, sound, smell, and my favorite: taste.

We walk past the restrooms and further down the hall, to turn the corner to a dead end. In some bygone day, it might have held a cigarette machine or a pay phone, but now it is just a little alcove, big enough to offer an illusion of privacy from the masses of horny, drunk twenty and thirty-something's that fill the club.

He shoves me back, so I am pinned between his rock hard muscles and a similarly unyielding blue wall. The coolness of it feels good against the bare skin of my back. Letting go of my arm he looks down at my body as his hand trails from my thigh, up my side, lightly cupping my breast while his thumb flicks at my hardened nipple. I moan. His eyes move up to my face and he stares at my lips.

My hand reaches out as my palm flattens against his chest, gliding up and down over the slight swells and valleys of the moving muscles of his chest and stomach. My womanhood is vibrating with excitement in anticipation to seeing what lay under this shirt.

I hook my arm around his, bringing my hard-won martini back to my lips, keeping my eyes on his face and other hand glued to his chest. Pierce grabs the drink out of my hand, and quaffs it in one swig. Without removing his gaze from mine he flings the glass behind him causing a more substantial smash than you would expect, and a surprise yelp from the bathroom line down the hall.

I gaze wistfully over his shoulder at the broken stem and smirk.

"That was a good martini!" he announces what I already knew.

"I know, hence why I was savoring it. Now you broke a perfectly good glass, that's a shame." I look back at him, his eyes still glued to mine.

"What can I say, I just get caught up in the moment when something excites me." He takes my wrist and brings it to his lips. He tongue starts to press and flick the inside where the delicate skin lay. His nostrils flare, taking in my scent and nipping at my skin with his teeth. Oh he is good! I've done this to men, but they have never returned the favor.

The heat is building in me and I don't know how much longer I can hold out without attacking him right here and ripping off his clothes.

"If you keep that up Pierce we'll never make it back to your place."

He stops and brings my arm back down to my side, finally releasing it from his grasp.

"My place?"

I push away from the wall, nudging him aside and start to make my way out of the nook. I stop and look back at him before turning the corner.

"Yeah, your place. I'm hungry though, I hope you have some food. I want to make sure I have all the energy I need for when you fuck me so long and hard I forget what decade I'm in and start quoting 'Wayne's World'."

I turn, stepping over the shards, past the shocked faces in line, and stride down the hall.

Chapter 2
Meet Pierce: One Hour Earlier

"I'm heading down to the dance floor. Hopefully I don't see you guys until tomorrow." Jacob grins at Corbin and me, before giving his usual two thumbs up. I waved at him, no, more like shoo him away as I snort in laughter. He is a doofus, but he is fun and for some reason likes me. So, despite his prepubescent zest for life and women, I still love him as if he is my brother. That's if I had a brother, I assume that's what the feeling would be.

Corbin on the other hand is not dumb at all. Sure, he isn't in my league in regards to wooing women, but at least he makes an effort. He dresses well, takes his time seeking them out and respects the ladies when they do fall for his charms. Where Corbin and I differ is how long we last with woman. He is a romantic, wanting to date them and 'make love' to them. I'm rolling my eyes right now just thinking about it.

I, on the other hand, pride myself on being a sort of Jekyll and Hyde. During the day I am the epitome of an upstanding fellow. I have a good bit of money to my name, due to some apps and software I developed a few years ago. Knowing I would never be in need of money again, I decided to put it to good use and create a charity for inner city children.

Why inner city kids, well if you must know I was one of those kids long ago. My mom did her best working two jobs, barely making above minimum wage, but it wasn't enough to get us out of 'the neighborhood' as it was referred to back in the day. The only thing that kept me off the street was books at the library. I read a lot, especially computer and engineering books. A bit nerdy and by the standard of where I lived in Baltimore, I was the biggest nerd to ever exist. I think that's what actually protected me. Most of the gangs, dealers and punks saw me as not worth their time.

It wasn't until I became a teenager and grew into my looks that they took notice, or rather their girlfriends took notice. I had to beef up quick and found a local gym to punch bags and lift weights. Once I filled out most of the thugs backed off, but then more of the girls gave me unwanted attention. I had no desire to hook up with someone else's woman, but that didn't stop them or the rumors.

Once I got a scholarship to MIT I was out of there. I created a college only internet social network my junior year and some business men took notice. By my senior year I bought my mom a row home in the nice area of Baltimore, Federal Hill and refused to go back to my old street ever again.

I haven't mentioned my dad, because to me he doesn't exist and never will. End of story.

So, I sit here in the VIP section of Club Jade in downtown Baltimore, overlooking the bar and dance floor. Watching Jacob make an ass of himself on the dance floor. Letting Mr. Hyde come out of me I watch the women who prance around in their skimpy skirts and overdone makeup and let out a sigh.

"What's wrong Pierce. I thought coming here is the perfect end to your week." Corbin is nursing his stout while looking at me.

"Do you ever get tired of the same women over and over again?"

Corbin's eyes widen as he places his pint on the table and lets out a roar of laughter.

"You tired of women? Who are you and what have you done with my friend Pierce?"

"I'm not tired of women. I'm tired of these women." I motion to the crowd below. "Their dyed hair and nails. Fake eyelashes and half-drunk stares. Yeah they are good for a fuck, but it's not that great. Just enough to get me off and that's it. By the time I'm done I really want them gone."

"Your problem is you don't get to know them. You find the prettiest one, hone in on her, throw a few award winning Pierce smiles at her and then go home to have sex. Do you even learn their names?"

I roll my eyes, but realize a few of them I didn't get the names from.

"Of course I know their names. Why would I want to get to know them? The less I know the better. Then they are less likely to think there is more than just sex involved. If I don't ask them questions they don't think I care."

I scan the downstairs again and see Jacob is still dancing very much alone. If he weren't in the club people would think he was having a seizure. My eyes move to the bar where something white catches my eye. In a sea of black, navy polyester and jeans, she stands out.

Hot damn she's gorgeous!

I watch, tuning out whatever Corbin is blathering about, as she takes her drink and pours it all over the side of the bar. The bartender is pissed and comes over to yell at her. This is pretty entertaining, better than any reality show I could flip on at home.

Her long black ponytail is swinging around as her movements become animated. Even from here I can see her thick fuck me lips. She turns slightly and I notice as her dress is backless. No bra! I am getting a semi just watching her.

"Are you even listening to me Pierce?" Corbin has moved in front of me to get my attention. Irritated, I plant my hand in his face and push him away.

"Shh! I'm watching."

He looks in the direction of the bar and says, "Ahhh!" while nodding his head.

Now the bartender is letting her behind the counter and she's making a drink. Even Corbin is watching the action unfold. After a minute she brings her drink over, first taking a sip herself from the martini glass, then the bartender. His face lights up and he gives her a hug. A friendly hug, but something inside me tugs. I want to be the one touching her, not that idiot bartender.

I get up.

"I'm heading to the bar. You need anything?" I look at Corbin.

"No, I'll just ask the waitress when she comes back."

"Good, I wasn't going to bring back anything, anyway. Have a good night and see you tomorrow!" Corbin laughs and waves goodbye as I give Jacob's signature smile with two thumbs.

As I approach the bar and lean along the side I see some drunken woman calling her a bitch. I watch her reaction, knowing that specific word has set off many women in my time. She only laughs. Interesting.

She's definitely feisty, but usually that comes out one of two ways. She will either be way too tough as in scaring the crap out of me. Wanting to be choked in the bedroom or worse, draw blood. I may be a man whore, but I don't hurt anyone or want to be hurt myself.

Or it's all an act and she will be the most wounded bunny in the bedroom. I'll barely be able to touch her and she'll just want me to hold her all night. Maybe I'm overthinking this. I'll just keep it simple and see how she reacts.

"Finally a decent bartender. Well, I should say, one that makes me want to come to the bar anyway." I yell to her.

She doesn't seem to be responding. I know she heard me, but she doesn't turn to face me. Maybe I know her and she recognizes my voice. Shit! I've had that happen before, it doesn't end well. I rack my brain to think how I may know her. Definitely not from work and I know Corbin and especially Jacob wouldn't know a woman like this. Have I had sex with her before? I really don't think she looks familiar. I'll try another tactic.

"Sorry, didn't mean to offend you."

She turns to look at me and I finally get a good look at those lips. Damn, I could lean over take them in my mouth and never let go. As for the rest of her, all I can say is Jackpot!

Oh, and she's tall, good I don't have to slouch all the time like with most women. Some men like them petit, but I get back pains after a while. What can I say, I'm getting old.

Her curves are frustrating, because I'm not next to her to touch them. I just want to run my fingers along her shapely hips and full tits. Her eyes I haven't noticed before, like a cat's with the color of steel grey. I swear I think I am going to start drooling, especially the way those sexy eyes keep looking at me. Her gaze locks onto my hands, probably looking for a wedding ring.

"No offence taken, but you are wrong." Her voice! That low throaty pitch is slinky inside making me picture her calling my name as she comes. How can one woman be so fucking sexy? I think I'm grinning like a goof now. Jesus, I'm turning into Jacob. Get ahold of yourself Pierce, this is her act, the truth will be revealed in your bedroom.

Maybe a little joke is in order to lighten things up. The sense of humor tells a lot about a woman. If they are silly like Jacob they usually don't know what they're doing in the bedroom. If they have no sense of humor they are a dud when it comes to sex. So, I find a joke helps let me know how to proceed.

"I stand by what I said you do make me want to come...to the bar."

She stares at me blankly as if I never spoke. Great, she has no sense of humor. Wait, she's rolling her eyes. I've never had a woman do that to me before.

"Come, uh, funny." She responds. She got it alright, but she thinks I'm an idiot. Well at least I know she's not dumb, but now I have to salvage this. She may still sleep with me if she thinks I am stupid, but she won't put much effort into it. I know I don't usually when I sleep with a dummy.

"I offended you again, that's two for two. I seem to be off my game tonight." The words come out of my mouth before I realize what I am saying. Maybe I am a dummy. I cringe internally, without letting her know. There's pity in her eyes. God this is going from bad to worse. I have never had this hard a time picking up a woman, maybe I'm getting the flu.

"As I said before, I'm not offended. Just a little disappointed."

She walks right up to me on the other side of the bar, with drink in hand and I get a whiff of jasmine and honeysuckle. God I love the way women smell.

She continues, "You walk up looking sexy as fuck and hit on me. You were hitting on me correct?"

Holy Shit! I think I am melting right here in front of her. My cock has officially stood to attention. My mouth can't produce words. Speak Pierce! Speak! Finally I nod.

So, if you need a drink the bartenders are over at the other end of the bar, I'm just a friend they let make her own drink. So, if you excuse me I need you to move, so I can open the lid of the bar and slip past."

I think I am in love! No seriously I have to have her. I scoot aside as she gets out from behind the bar. She's walking away, I have got to stop it. I am actually panicking as I move up behind her, but stay a safe distance.

"I'm sexy as fuck Pierce, I'm thirty two and you are?"

Thank god she stopped. She's turning and drinking from her glass. Her eyes are on me, all of me. I swear she is fucking me with those hot as hell eyes of hers. She has landed on my cock. How she's looking at it, I think I'll come if she doesn't stop.

"Like what you see?" I laugh after I say it, knowing she at least is attracted to me, which I never really have a problem with.

But she's shaking her head as if she doesn't like what she sees. What the fuck?

"Now how can I answer that, Pierce, when I haven't seen everything? Turn." She twirls her fingers and I oblige, enjoying this turning of the tables. This woman knows how to get what she wants and I pray that's me.

"Your verdict?"

"Definitely still sexy as fuck. To answer your earlier question, I'm Jos."

God I want her. Right here, right now. Jos looks up at me then turns to go. Oh hell no! Not this time. I run up and grab her by the wrist whipping her around to face me. Her body is pressed against mine and I can feel her hurried breath catch. She wasn't expecting that. Now I know what she wants and I plan on giving it to her.

She looks up into my eyes and I see the heat there.

"Jos, what's that short for?"

"Josephine."

"Hmm. I like Josephine better. It's beautiful and powerful, just like you. I think I will be calling you Josephine from now on. Now that we have that established, come with me."

I pull her along and we make our way to the back corner of the club. Pushing her into wall and pinning her there so she can't get away, which I suspect is what she wants. I trace her body with my hand and get to her sweet hard nipple poking through her white hot number. A little flick and I hear her moan. My eyes stumble up to find those lips I just want to taste, but I know if I do, we will get thrown out for indecent exposure because I will rip off her clothes, hitch up her leg on my hip and make her ride me till she screams.

She takes another sip of her drink and I have to stop her. Watching her mouth curve the hard glass while her tongue darts out to lap up the clear liquid is pushing me over the edge. I grab the drink and down it, afterwards tossing it behind me. Wow, that was a good martini.

"That was a good martini!"

She's staring at the floor where the glass fell and then up at me.

"I know, hence why I was savoring it. Now you broke a perfectly good glass, that's a shame."

"What can I say, I just get caught up in the moment when something excites me."

I bring her wrist up to my mouth and do to the under part of her arm what I want to do to both sets of her lips. Her tongue peaks through her moaning lips to savor what remains of her drink or to do to her lip what she wants to do to me. I have a feeling it's the later.
