“Come sit baby.” I offered as I settled my back against
the couch.

She eyed the folder, and I feigned hesitance as I handed
it to her, “This is a list of some eligible girls you can choose from, they’re
all tested and one phone call away.”

She stared at the folder in utter disconcertion. She
swallowed very hard and I could swear I heard her heart stop.

“Of course, this means you share me with another woman. We
can set up a search for eligible men, have them tested, and organize
accordingly. I’m all about equality.” I said, killing the sarcasm that hid
behind my tone.

When she spoke again, her mouth was dry, “You mean you
want another woman?”

I nodded with a smirk, “As you do another man.”

She swallowed again; I’d never seen her so unsettled.

Being faithful to her stubbornness, she flipped the first
page and eyeballed the model on the first picture. They were all candidates for
an upcoming ad for The Victoria. I had to choose one and hadn’t given it a
thought before she brought up the whole threesome bullshit.

She continued studying every candidate. Every twitch of
her lips was a confirmation of how possessive she was. She looked at every girl
with a critical eye, as if imagining me touching her and disgusted by the
image.

She handed the file back and turned away, trying to gain
some equilibrium, “This one.”

She chose a blonde, standard measurements with big blue
eyes.

“Are you sure?” I teased and she nodded silently.

“It’s funny that you would suggest a threesome. I’ve been
searching for a way to present you with the idea for a while. It’s as if you
read my mind.” I saw her fury blazing through her eyes, “I guess we really are
made for each other.”

Her shoulders lifted helplessly, “I guess so.”

I knew I was pushing her closer to an unprecedented
outburst but kept going anyway, I had to teach her a good lesson, “What do you
say we get crazy and invite her over to have lunch. It would be less awkward
for you. Wouldn’t it?”

She was struggling to hold her grounds, “Maybe.”

“Thank you for this baby. And I promise, I’ll have another
guy lined up for whenever you feel like trying it the other way.”

“I can’t wait.” She was going for excited and defying, but
her tone was void, disgraced.

I turned away. I was on the verge of explosion, killing a
loud laugh.

I picked up the phone and composed the number. A woman
answered after the third ring, “Hello?”

Clea frowned at me, “Who are you calling?”

I put my hand over the microphone and whispered, “I’m
calling Miss Porter to arrange for lunch and we can head upstairs and enjoy
that succulent breakfast you made me.”

“Yes, hello, could I speak to Miss Porter please?” I
watched as her whole demeanor shifted, raising the fire alarms.

“This is she? Whom am I speaking to?”

Before I could even answer, Clea grabbed one of the books
and sent it across the room to hit the wall behind me. I dodged it and sank on
my chair, watching her going all shades of nuts on me.

“You are an asshole Landon Davis. You’re calling one of
your whores to share our bed and expect me to go up and enjoy a breakfast with
you? You are a bastard. I hate you.”

Another book flew my way and fell on my lap.

“If you’re so eager to fuck other women, then feel free to
do so because we’re done. You won’t need to find a way to pitch me the idea of
a threesome, you can go ahead and plan a fucking orgy for all I care.”

Rounding her heels, she gave me the look over and ran out
of the room, leaving a trail of smoke behind her.

I went up to find her pacing around like a crazy person in
our bedroom.

“Yes, Miss Porter, sorry we got cut off.” I spoke with a
light smirk decked on my face, as Clea sent a glass of orange juice to hit the
wall next to me.

“Miss Porter, this is Landon Davis. I’m calling with good
news.” I took a long pause, sneaking into the room and watched as Clea studied
me with a dark gaze, sending daggers through my eyes.

“Landon Davis?”

The young interlocutor seemed to be choking on her
breakfast.

“Yes, after a long and difficult deliberation, my team and
I decided that you would be perfect for our commercial.”

Clea eyeballed me as I continued, “Congratulations. Please
refer to my assistant for further details. Yes, right. I’ll have her call you.”

I saw the tension disappear in a ball of black smoke over
her head.

“You stupid, stupid, stupid woman.” I chanted as I walked
towards her.

“Commercial?” She mumbled.

I nodded, “You thought I’d be willing to share you with
another human being?” I shook my head and tut my answer, “You thought I’d allow
anyone else to see you like this?”

I shook my head again, slowing my pace, as I got closer to
her.

“You thought I’d let some other woman share me with you,
erase the touch of your hands? Or another man erase mine?”

She shifted from one leg to the other, stopping herself
from running towards me. Her whole body was calling me, she was impatiently
waiting for me to do what she loved most, claim her.

“Oh baby, when will you understand that I’m never letting
you go, and I’m certainly never going to share you with anyone.”

Standing inches from her face, I fisted my hands in her
head, exerting force, and brought her lips a breath away from mine, “Promise me
that you’ll never think again.” I joked, “And never, ever suggest such an
infuriating image again.”

She nodded rapidly, eager for me to suck her succulent
lips.

“Say it.” I ordered.

“I promise.”

“Good girl. Now whom do you belong to?”

Her voice was a bare hot breath, “You.”

“Damn right. And who do I belong to?”

“Me. Only me.”

I dropped us down on the bed as I kissed her lips
possessively, reminding her that she was and will always be mine. Every inch of
Clea Dane’s body and soul was mine. She was the only woman I’ve ever had eyes
for, she is my strength and my weakness. She’s my compass through life, and I
have no fucking idea how did I ever function without her in my life.

“Now let’s see how many times I’m going to make you come
today.”

She whimpered and let out a loud moan and I sank myself
inside her. The sensation was out of this world, every time I bury myself in
her I feel as if I reached my own Garden of Eden. She was perfect for me, in
every aspect.

“I love you Landon Davis. I love you so much.” She heaved
as she came hard around my penis, squeezing the life out of me.

“Not nearly as much as I do.” I murmur to myself.

My knuckles are drained from the force I exerted on the
helicopter seat. I cannot lose my temper. Control is the only thing that is
keeping me focused, instead of going insane with all the assumptions about what
is happening to Clea.

I looked back on some of the conversations Audrey had with
Caden. She was seeking a new master to master, and he was the perfect
candidate; anger issues, need for revenge, ability to control himself, and
finally a bone to pick with me after I finished off his entire career.

I’ve been asking myself whether I was indeed the reason
they took her?

Yes, is the only answer I can come up with.

Audrey is doing this because of me, out of jealousy, and scornfulness.
I hated that date night I had to have with her. She used to represent all the
good in my life, love, passion, control, and excitement. Every time she would
leave, I’d be heartbroken and a fucking mess.

That was until I met my angel and realized that love meant
nothing to me until she revealed it to me. I remember the first time she looked
at me with such a powerful gaze that made my brain and heart stop all at once.
Her eyes are so expressive and intense. It was at the charity dinner for my mother’s
organization. It was a difficult time for me. She never knew that, but my
father had chosen to have the event on her birthday. It used to be such a
unique day in my life, celebrating a successful and inspiring life for a woman
I grew up to admire and adore.

That night, I looked into Clea’s eyes and she took my
breath away. She has such an appealing innocence in her. Truthful to a fault,
she doesn’t boast, and feels no shame in showing compassion.

I know for a fact that something I did made her instantly
fall for me that night. I still can’t figure out the reason, but I’m
indefinitely thankful for it.

I looked back on a time where work was all I strived for,
work, success, and revenge. I had no need for sex except to fulfill some urges
or to fill some lonely nights. Even the arrangements had their rules, and they
were non-negotiable. No staying over more than one night per week, any special
occasion celebrations are to be spent apart with plenty of access to money and
gift purchases, and absolutely no family introductions.

I can’t help but laughing at the irony. I was sweating
bullets when she refused to be part of the arrangement, she’s the first woman I
wanted to gift the world to, introduce her to my family was my first instinct.
I knew my father had some ties with hers, but I never knew the extent of it
until that night.

She mesmerizes me, fucks with my head, and makes my heart
stop every time she looms over me with desire, or just pure understanding. My
life means nothing without Clea Dane. She possess me and obsesses me to a
degree I never knew possible.

My innocent little virgin.

She has a way to calm me with the simplest touch and
infuriate me with her mischievousness and bluntness.

She’s also a fucking stubborn piece of a woman and I can’t
help but love how she stands up to me, even when she knows that she won’t get
the last word.

I reach up to the microphone; I need to find my baby. I
need to keep her in my arms and never let her out of my sight ever again, until
death do us part. And even then, she’ll be mine, in this life and the other.

“Are we there yet.” I ask the pilot.

I’m so fucking desperate for her that I sound like a
fucking five year old. I swear I’ll make them suffer if they touched…

I can’t even finish that thought.

The pressure in my ears signals that we’re losing altitude
and I look down out the windows. Trees, so many fucking trees. This was planned
and executed with lots of thoughts and detail orientation. The police would’ve
never found her.

I glance down one more time and we’re seconds away from
hitting the round. I spot Jared fighting to stand straight because of the
chopper. Dixon is standing behind him, and by the looks of it, they don’t carry
good news.

I jump out of the helicopter and run to him, my heart is
throbbing inside my chest and my breathing is shallow.

“What is it?” My mouth is dry and I’m seeing red.

“There’s no sign of Caden Blye and… Miss Dane.” He
announces apologetically.

I can’t help but grab him by the collar, “What the fuck do
you mean there’s no sign of them? How about Audrey?”

He nods and signals towards the cabin, “Inside. But she’s
not talking.”

Jude is pacing towards the house and there’s something
dangerous and dark about his demeanor. Nothing like the Jude I’m used to. I’ve
always thought him different from me, but he really isn’t, especially when it
comes to Clea.

I’m behind him in a glimpse, followed by Jared, Dixon, and
the pilot. When we strode inside the house, Jude was looming over Audrey
speaking through clenched teeth. I stand behind him to listen to him and wait
for my turn, impatiently.

“This is not a fucking game, mark my words, I will fucking
strangle you and leave you to rot inside this house of horror. Where’s Clea?”

Audrey snorts and stands up, bringing him up and inches
from her face, “Give it your best shot.”

In the short second that followed her defying tone, Jude’s
hands were around her neck, fire exhaling through every hole in his face.
“The one thing people know about me is that I don’t threaten.” He says dryly,
choking her up in the air,

“But
when I do, it’s never empty.” I’m helpless, trying to figure out a way to get
her to talk.

Audrey is dangling a few inches over the ground, Jude not
letting go.

This is going nowhere.

When I meet her glare, she’s suffocating with a fucking smirk
on her face. She’s used to this kind of things, and I know that she has the
breath and the will to hold her grounds. I spit down in disgust and turn to
Jude, “Suit yourself.”

I walk away determined to find clues of where Caden took
Clea. The cabin brings up bad memories of back when I was tracking down the man
who took my mother, and here I am again, tracking someone who took my Clea, the
only important woman I have left. Hell will break loose if I don’t find her,
today.

The main area is a living room opening up on a back porch
and a small kitchen. I glance next to the door and spot three suitcases. Audrey
was obviously on her way out. I recognize one of her Louis Vuitton suitcase
because it was a gift from me. I stride to the other two and open them, men’s
clothing, books, and money. I turn to the other one and as soon as it flew
open, my stomach quivered.

Jared mutters behind me, “Fuck.”

My vision gets blurry, blood pounds in my brain, a rush of
blazing anger blinding me. Crops, flogs, blindfolds, and a bunch of torture
devices I know too much about.

Did they use this on Clea?

I stand up, unable to hold it anymore. I pace throughout
the house. I enter the master bedroom and I see it; signs of struggle, shackles
on the bed, and blood.

I feel it coming up; choking me abruptly, and I stride out
of the house. I’m haunted by images of Clea being tortured, sexually exploited
by those two psychopaths.

I can hear her, calling out my name, asking for help. I
feel helpless. She’s my everything and they ruined her. I don’t know what I was
expecting, but this isn’t it.
