Chapter Fifteen

He began a rhythm of small, hard, stinging slaps with two fingers across her needy clit. Sarah had never felt anything like it. It hurt and yet it was the most delightful feeling she’d ever had.

“Your swollen clit is too greedy. Greedy for my touch, for my tongue. It must be punished, Sarah, mustn’t it?”

Sarah nodded, and he increased his speed. “Yes, sir. Yes.

“That’s right. Does it hurt, Sarah? Does it make you sting with pain?”

Brock made it faster and harder, and Sarah couldn’t stop the flow of tears. “Yes…sir. Yes, it hurts.”

“Good. Good. I like it when it hurts you, Sarah. It gets my cock good and hard ready to breach you. Ready to fuck you so you’ll scream, Sarah. You will scream and beg and come harder than you ever knew possible.”

He stopped the two-finger slapping and squeezed her tender flesh between two fingers. Just enough to hurt like hell, but not enough the stem the surge of arousal that now ratcheted through her body. She almost came, but he stopped.
“Oh. God. I need to come. I need to come. Please let me, Brock. Please make me come.”

Something flashed over his face. He gave her a wild-eyed stare and descended onto her mouth with his in a hard, unforgiving kiss. His body crushed hers, and there was no oxygen for her lungs. He didn’t stop the assault with his mouth, and Sarah thought about her safe word because she couldn’t breathe!

All airways were blocked by him, his mouth over hers, her body folded up under his, his hand crushing around her neck.

She opened her eyes wide in panic and saw he was looking at her, watching her panic. Was he enjoying it?
Greenhouse
! The thought came into her head, but she couldn’t say the words. There was no oxygen inside her burning lungs, and his mouth and tongue still punished hers. She had no chance to say the word.

A flash of darkness went across, as she tried to flail her arms, her legs, move any part of her from underneath him. Icy fear crossed her in less than a spilt second, and he stopped and lunged between her legs with his mouth. Pinning her thighs wide apart with iron hands, he kissed and licked her sensitive nub.

She sucked in a deep, ragged breath, and before she could get the safe word out, he sucked on her throbbing, aching, and hypersensitive clitoris and her body crashed with sudden orgasm.

The orgasm wouldn’t stop, and Sarah’s back arched so hard she feared she’d broken a rib, every muscle cramped in her mid-section and still he sucked and licked, feasted upon her, and all she had inside was forced out of her. There was nothing left. The final spasm subsided, and his mouth left her body, his hands unpinned her thighs, and he let her wrists free from the bedpost.

But Sarah couldn’t move. She couldn’t speak. All she could do was drag in the precious oxygen she’d been starved of. Her orgasm hadn’t allowed her to let exhale that first huge breath she’d taken. Panting, she just lay there.

Here whole body shook like she was freezing cold and yet a fever burned inside. Her mind wouldn’t calculate more than one thought, one fear. She brought her knees up and curled into a ball. Surely, she’d have passed out any second. People got hurt doing this stuff. Sarah realized how a safe word and an agreement meant nothing. She’d have called out the word and Brock would’ve stopped. But would he have? He’d robbed her of the ability to say it. Had he wanted to paralyze her with fear?

Was this even about pleasure for him? He hadn’t had an orgasm and that seemed unusual. Normally, the act was all about the man coming. It was only a matter of time, but the end game was to come, and if you had a good man, he’d want to see you did so as well in the best way possible.

And if Brock didn’t stop, what then? How did this work when the submissive, or slave, or whatever the hell the name was, was powerless and the Dominant just changed his mind and ignored the request? It must happen sometimes.

He’d know she’d wanted to scream out that safe word right there and then. She just wanted to be allowed to breathe again. He’d pushed her to the edge. No, he’d pushed her over the edge of the deadly abyss and held her by one leg. He’d forced her to experience the most soul-shattering, gut-wrenching, mind-blowing orgasm, and she’d never have gotten to that place willingly.

Whatever she’d expected from Brock Devlin and sex, it wasn’t this. She’d been foolish to think—after the power play he’d demonstrated over her life—that the control wouldn’t extend to the bedroom. She knew it would and that was what drew her too him if she was honest. She’d wanted that taboo danger as much as the next person. But this was on a level far above anything she could’ve imagined.

It clearly wasn’t playful, or experimental on his part. He’d been coldly precise, knowing just when to give her oxygen, just how much to deprive her of. When she taken that survival breath, she climaxed so hard it almost hurt. Her soul had been reshaped. She’d been through the crushing fear, the choking panic, and then the sheer pleasure of his mouth on her pussy numbed the usual panic attack into nothing. She’d gotten through it.

Now thoughts and ideas writhed in her head. It was like every nerve ending has been switched into overdrive, and her mind suddenly had doubled in size to fit more thoughts in at the same time. She’d calculated all of this in about five minutes, yet it wasn’t panicked thought, it wasn’t fearful, and it wasn’t that voice in her head controlling her thought pattern.

Her body still trembled and—at some stage—he’d taken his white silk tie from her wrists and now he gently rubbed the red marks there. Silently, he sat on the bed and gathered her up in his lap, his arms encasing her. His tender kisses on her face and hair soothed her. The fear had gone, but the questions remained. Had he made it so she couldn’t say her safe word on purpose? Could she trust him again?

Her pussy still ached, and she had never come at that level. It devastated her. Completely wrecked her. The experience was surreal right now. Had it even happened? In his tenderness now, it would be easy to think she’d imagined him watching her, knowing she couldn’t breathe, that she couldn’t say “greenhouse,” and choosing not to stop. But her body buzzed with a satisfaction she hadn’t even read about in magazines.

It was completely unimaginable that anything could feel that good or that anything could ever again. She was so sated, she just wanted to close her eyes and sleep, but maybe he still wanted to get his satisfaction. Maybe she still wanted that satisfaction, and to feel how his cock stroked inside her.

“You are so beautiful, Sarah. Seeing your exquisite pain has ruined me. Thank you.”

“Is it over? You haven’t…” Her voice trailed off, not able to say the words.

“It’s over. It’s not about that for me, Sarah. My pleasure comes from taking you to that perfect moment when all is lost and then bringing you back to heights you could never know from anyone else.”

“I was well over the edge, Brock, well over.” Sarah had tears in her eyes.

“Yes. I pushed a little further than I’d planned, but Sarah, if you choose to move onto a second session, please don’t ever say my name in those moments. It set me off and also took me by surprise. But in honesty, I did know what I was doing and that you screamed that safe word in your head.”

“You knew I was panicking?”

“Yes. I also knew I could take you beyond what you thought possible.”

“I would’ve said the safe word.”

“I know. That’s why the timing needed to be exact.”

Sarah wasn’t sure how she felt about that. He really was a supreme manipulator.

“But the orgasm, Sarah? You’ve never been so shattered.”

“No. No, I haven’t. The question is, was it worth it?”

Brock squeezed her tight in his arms, and his voice fell to almost a whisper. “I hope so, Sarah. I need it to be worth it for you.”

“I can’t answer that right now, Brock. But I set out to get pleasure, and how I felt reached far beyond that. It was truly earth-shattering, and for that, I do thank you. I’m just not sure this is what I want. This is hard core.”

“This isn’t a game for me. It’s a lifestyle, a way of being. So, you see why I can’t offer long-term. I can’t offer love like other men can.”

“I know, Brock. I get it. You’re no angel.”

“Far from it.”

“I should go.” Sarah needed some wine and some think time, and hopefully some time to talk to Bella.

“You’re welcome to stay in here. I’ll sleep in my own room”

He didn’t want her in his room, in his bed. Considering what she’d just been through for his pleasure, it stung a lot. But she couldn’t take any of this personally. They had an agreement that was all. Maybe that was the hardest part to handle. No emotions—and yet it was the most emotional experience she’d ever had.

The agreement had been fulfilled, and now they simply had to salvage a working relationship from this and try again to be friends. Sarah couldn’t help but think it was back to square one on the friendship scale. Friends didn’t do the whole domination thing, did they? When it all came down to it, Sarah and Brock were still just business colleagues trying to get their friendship off shaky ground.

“That would be beyond awkward. But I’ll get a taxi to drop me at the new apartment, so you don’t worry about me in my neighborhood.”

“Let me drive you. I’m not always chauffeured in a limo, you know.”

“I’d rather take a taxi, Brock. I’ll text when I get home. I need time to process the emotions.”

He let her go, and she stood up off the bed. “If you can understand, that may have been the most erotic time I’ve ever had, but it was also the scariest. I was frightened, and I need to understand that. I need to understand a lot of things that are brain-mush right now.”

“I know. I didn’t want to push that far. You trusted me, and I abused that trust.” He put his head into his hands. Sarah’s heart went out to him. But then, did he even have the right to seek sympathy?

“Brock. I don’t feel violated or angry. I just need time to understand myself, to understand you.”

“I can’t even understand me, but I accept me.” The face of calm control was back in place.

They both walked out into the lounge room. Sarah grabbed her smartphone out of her bag, hit up the taxi app, and ordered one. The app told her one would be there in ten minutes. The emotional gap had widened between them. Brock had shut down emotionally, and Sarah didn’t take that as a good sign. She didn’t want to leave with him in this black mood. What if..?

She picked up the written agreement. “Brock?”

“Yes?” He looked up at her.

“We had a written agreement.” She waved the document in the air. “I went into this willingly. Plus, it says here we will still be friends. I’m not getting that vibe from you right now.”

“I took you beyond the agreed beginner training; I broke the contract.”

“I hit a trigger point for you.”

“You weren’t to know saying my name would make me push you that far.” Brock’s deep frown etched his brow, his eyes darker than she’d ever seen.

“And neither were you. We both went into the agreement in good faith. We had a hiccup, but you truly rocked my world. Now, I need time to process what that means for me, that’s all.”

“Sarah. You are sweet to like me enough to protect me on this. But, I am the one with all the experience. I should’ve controlled myself a lot better. I don’t deserve your sympathy on this.”

“Seems like you just want self-punishment instead.”

“Perhaps that is what I need.”

“Look, I’m going outside to wait for the taxi. I think there’s only room for one at this pity party.” Sarah lashed out with her words, her anger flashing and surprising her, as well as Brock judging by the look on his face. She needed to get out of there before the emotions bubbled forth.

“I don’t like being out of control, Sarah. I can’t have it. It’s been a long time since I’ve lost control like that.” He stormed across the room. The dogs looked up at him as if they’d never seen this Brock before.

“Lucky me to be the one who brings out the worst in you.” Sarah went over and gave Romeo and Juliet and quick hug each, and they followed her to the door. She looked at the aquarium and wondered how that man in there could ever hand rear and name each creature in there. It made no sense.

The taxi honked the horn, and Sarah pulled the door shut behind her. She doubted she’d ever be back here again, and it had nothing to do with the way her body ached from being punished or the way her lungs still burned from straining for breath. Nor was it because her soul had been shattered and glued back together by that orgasm. However, a small sliver was missing and Brock hadn’t picked it up yet. Maybe he never would.

That man inside needed a reality check and to stop thinking the whole world revolved around him. Who knew who the real Brock Devlin was? She sure as hell didn’t, and she doubted he did either. When she came here tonight, she was hoping to find out. Epic fail.

What she needed was a wine with Bella, and for her friend to tell her just what a mistake she was making by trying to unravel the mystery that was Brock Devlin. Tell her to shake it off, go back to her job, and chalk this one up to earth-shattering, world-spinning-off-axis, soul-wrenching experience.

She’d pull down the control curtain and force herself not to think about all these emotions. The old Sarah would do exactly that, had been doing it for years.
