Chapter 1

Trey Van Cleve in the Spanish-American War and immediately afteward.

Chapter 2

Trey and Deborah Sutton meet for the first time.

Hubbell's shooting contest, July 4, 1899.

Deborah and Trey meet for the second time.

Trey tries to deal with his family.

Deborah attends recital on her own. Worried, Trey goes after her and is attacked again on the way home. Deborah tends his stab wound. First kiss.

Deborah asks Caleb for help. He talks to Trey and they set a trap for the killer.

The trap works a little too well.

Chapter 25

Trey convinces Deborah to accept his proposal.

Deborah catches a killer before the wedding. Trey and Deborah marry.

Trey and Deborah exchange gifts and have wedding night.
