Eli promptly shifted to kiss along the base of Kevin's cock and up the shaft, then pressed a kiss along and around the swollen, sensitive head.

The throb of heat and pleasure that gave Kevin made him moan again and press the back of his head to the pillow, his body arching.

Eli shoved him back down with a flat hand on his stomach, then wrapped one hand around the base of his cock and slid his lips onto the head. The wet warmth around him made Kevin's toes curl as he felt each ridge of Eli's palate and the smoothness of his tongue cupping underneath. Eli's lips wrapped tightly around his shaft as he bobbed his head down to take in the whole length.

Kevin panted for breath, his mind going blank. All he could think of was Eli's beautiful, hot, talented mouth. The wet, flat tongue already teasing at the underside of his cock made him moan and squirm, and then Eli set into motion and bobbed his head up and down. Kevin couldn't help but open his eyes so he could watch the pink firmness of his shaft pushing through those full lips, in and out.

Eli's eyes caught his, the intense blue making Kevin's heart thump. He could hardly breathe, and he couldn't look away. Eli was hungrily devouring his cock and every bit of pleasure on his face.

Just as Kevin's pleasure was building into a coiled, hot knot in the pit of his stomach, Eli's mouth drew off him. Kevin groaned in disappointment and closed his eyes, his whole body twitching with the need for pleasure.

“I'll make up for it,” Eli promised, quickly unfastening his belt to finish stripping off. Kevin reached down to touch his thighs, rubbing along them up to his hips. He admired the length between Eli's legs that was already hard and poking up towards him. God, he was hungry for it.

Kevin murmured back, “You better.”

Eli's chuckle was sharp and startled. “Ooh, threats now? How will you follow through on that?”

“I'll roll you over and ride you,” Kevin boldly retorted. The idea actually sounded fucking hot to him, but not tonight; tonight, he wanted his lover's sensual thrusts and gentle touches.

“Great idea,” Eli whispered, his eyes twinkling away. He leaned over to grab lubricant and a condom, and Kevin's mind wandered.
Is he clean? Can I ask? How do I ask? I've never...
had
to ask before. Oh, god.

Before Kevin could think of how to phrase the question, slick, warm fingers slid into him and his lips parted. It was still a little unfamiliar, but it was rapidly growing pleasurable right away. His body knew what was coming next, and he ached with his need to be filled by that huge cock.

“That's it, baby,” Eli praised as Kevin's hips arched into him again. He started to kiss along Kevin's chest again, flicking his tongue against the nipples. Kevin's cock ached in jealousy again now that it was no longer in Eli's warm, pleasant mouth; while any stimulation to the little pink buttons of pleasure felt great, it wasn't the same as being sucked off further south.

Eli's fingers hit that spot in him over and over as his fingers thrust in and out, and Kevin's body started to melt. Even the slender fingers against the sensitive prostate made his cock stand to attention and harden even more than usual.

And then, he was left empty.

“God,” Kevin breathed out, trying to keep himself calm and patient and wait for Eli's cock to push inside. He twitched with impatience, his thigh muscles quivering at the feeling of Eli lying between them. Eli scooted up to lie over him, blanketing him with his weight.

Bare skin burned against skin, the warmth between them almost stifling – but not quite. His brain kept throwing sensations at him rapid-fire: the smooth tightness of Eli's stomach, the rough brush of chest hair against his nipples, the slide of his thighs on Eli's...

“Are you ready?” Eli whispered from close to Kevin's ear, his stubble catching and burning the sensitive skin of Kevin's throat and jaw. Fuck, it felt
amazing
.

“Yeah,” Kevin moaned, raising his leg to wrap around Eli and welcome him as close as he could get. Their bodies melted together into one as Eli slid inside, the thick weight of him almost unbearably perfect inside.

When he filled him completely, Kevin let the breath he'd been holding out as he wrapped his arms around Eli's back to keep him as close as he could.

Eli didn't seem to mind. His lover's lips kept pressing kisses against the pulse point in his neck, the sensitive ear lobe, his jaw, his neck... While Eli distracted him with butterfly kisses, his hips drew back and pushed inside again, the first uncomfortable thrust or two out of the way within moments. The tight heat of Kevin relaxed enough to accommodate that huge cock that was utterly filling him.

“Ohhh, god,” Kevin groaned quietly.

Eli murmured, “You all right?” His thrusts slowed.

Kevin quickly slid one hand down to squeeze Eli's backside and push him into him a little more. “No, no, keep going. It's just... good,” he whispered, opening his eyes and turning his head to claim Eli's lips in a kiss.

Eli looked surprised but chuckled, parting his lips to let Kevin's tongue slide between them. He tilted his head slightly to lick his way into Kevin's mouth in return, their lips practically aching from the pleasure.

Kevin could taste himself on Eli's tongue, but he liked it. He was utterly covered and overwhelmed by him, his body wrapped around Eli's, his mind only on Eli's thrusts and touches and kisses...

Eli's hips were driving into his lover hard now, though his chest and stomach pressed hard against Kevin's. Just those muscles flexed hard as Eli pushed into him, filling him utterly.

The hot skin of Eli's body against, around, and in him made him burn with the need to come after having been tormented nearly to the edge by that gorgeous mouth, but he wanted to hold out and make the moment last forever.

“Mmm,” Eli sighed a moan of appreciation and pleasure into Kevin's mouth when Kevin caught his tongue and sucked on the tip lightly.

Kevin flicked his tongue against Eli's before releasing it to bite Eli's lower lip and suck it between his own. He was intent on giving Eli just a fraction of the pleasure that Eli’s cock was giving him by pounding into him in a steady, deep rhythm. The mattress squeaked under them, the rustling of sheets interrupted only by their moans or sighs of pleasure.

“Oh, god, you feel good,” Kevin managed to moan when they tipped their faces away from each other's for a moment to catch a breath. Kevin was burning with heat, his thighs tight, and his stomach clenching with the heat that built deep in his stomach.

His passion spurted from deep within, his muscles twitching involuntarily as his body practically vibrated against Eli's. He pressed himself up against Eli's front, his hips thrusting up against his boyfriend’s. His head rolled back as he exposed his throat and gave a long, low, desperate moan of pleasure.

In the still darkness of the night, the room only lit by the waning moon outside, it was almost surreal. Kevin felt like he was flying high on the ecstasy of love as he stumbled over the edge of his limits, past what he could handle, into utter bliss.

It took a few seconds before he could catch his breath and open his eyes. Eli's eyes were intent on him, his face alight with pleasure and joy. As soon as he made eye contact, Eli cupped his cheek and pressed their lips together.

Kevin moaned quietly, clenching for a moment around Eli's cock as Eli resumed his thrusts. The hot, strong man above him filled him utterly with every inch of himself, pushing in and out in rough, needy thrusts.

Eli was growing close – his cheeks were flushed, his eyes distant even as his lips hovered an inch or two away from Kevin's. Kevin leaned up and wrapped his hand around the back of Eli's neck to tug his face down and catch his lips in a deep kiss.

“Hah!” Eli sighed abruptly against the kiss just seconds later. Then, he followed up with a quiet, “Nnh...
Kevin
...” Kevin didn't even need to see his lips to recognize his name being sighed against his lips, and it was utterly thrilling. Eli pinned him in place as his hips stuttered, his own climax being caught by the condom, but the passion in his face and the way he desperately panted for breath and clutched at Kevin's shoulder and hair were unmistakable.

Kevin thought it was the most beautiful sight he'd ever been lucky enough to see.

As Eli's cock slid out and his body slumped against him, Kevin grinned, then pressed little kisses along Eli's jaw and cheek now, returning the favor from earlier.

“Nnh, you're too sweet,” Eli breathed out moments later, rolling onto his side.

Kevin couldn't stop smiling. He was cooling off at last, but his skin still felt warm in all those little spots Eli had so meticulously found and kissed. “No, you,” he teased, reaching out to slide two fingers under Eli's chin and tip it up enough that he could kiss his lips.

Eli relaxed into the long, leisurely kiss for a minute before making a quiet sound and turning his face towards the open curtains. The windows overlooked the darkened beach and the moon clearly shone through the window. Despite the moon beginning to wane, it was almost bright enough to read, and it was easy to read Eli's expressions. “Glad we didn't turn the lights on.”

“If there's someone on a boat with binoculars right in front of our house, they deserve a show,” Kevin stated matter-of-factly.

A laugh bubbled from Eli's chest. “I... I really like you,” he admitted frankly, sliding an arm around Kevin to pull him in closer.

Kevin was happy to be tugged in against Eli's side. “Me, too. I'm pretty great.” He smirked mischievously as he raised his hand to push his hearing aids back in a little further. He didn't want to miss a word if they were going to have
this
conversation. “But, seriously... er, I was wondering...”

“Fire away,” Eli told him when he hesitated, shifting to prop himself up on his elbow.

Kevin eased himself up enough to sit up, reaching down to take Eli's hand and play with his fingers. “Are we monogamous?”

“Yes,” Eli answered without hesitation. “In the last few years, I've only been with... Tom, up until a few weeks ago... and you.”

A sigh of relief escaped Kevin. He'd been pretty damn sure the billionaire wasn't buying favors off anyone or looking to date more than one guy, but it was something he needed to know to ask the next question. “Are you... um, tested?”

Eli's eyebrows raised for a moment, and then his face softened into a smile. “Why, you want to go bareback?”

“Yes,” Kevin admitted frankly. “I think it'd be...” He couldn't think how to put it.

“It's more intimate,” Eli answered, still smiling. He pressed his palm against Kevin's for a moment and laced their fingers. “I'd like that, too. And yes, by the way. I got tested after...” He grimaced.

Kevin winced.
Not the best timing to dredge up his ex,
he told himself. “Sorry.”

“Oh, no,” Eli assured him and untangled their fingers to brush the back of his hand against his lips. “It's not your fault. All of that is a closed book for me now,” he murmured sincerely.

Kevin smiled, then pulled his hand back so he could cup Eli's cheek with it and lean in for another kiss. “Let's go outside for a minute.”

Eli nodded and bumped their foreheads together for a few moments. Then, he stood up and tugged off the condom, cleaning himself up.

As Eli headed over to unlock the balcony door, Kevin took the moment to wipe himself down as well, then slid off the bed to follow.

The air was cool against his naked body, but not unpleasantly so. It was still warm and humid enough that it felt comfortable, just refreshing after the heat of such intense sex.

After taking a moment to admire Eli from behind as he leaned on the balcony railing, Kevin joined him and leaned next to him, gazing down at the beach and then out over the ocean. The stars above them were twinkling lightly, many near the moon washed out by its brightness.

“Not to open those wounds, but... Tom came into work,” Kevin murmured.

Eli sharply glanced over, reaching out to drape his arm around Kevin's shoulders. “Why? What happened?” He looked tired, but now he was alert again.

“Everything's fine,” Kevin assured Eli, keeping his voice down so they didn't break the stillness of the late night – so late it was nearly early morning. “He said he was leaving us be, that he hoped we were happy together.” He saw Eli sigh with relief and added, “He didn't comment on whether he's still buying the island.”

“Are you nervous about that?”

Kevin wasn't ashamed of nodding. “If he buys it out in my first season...” He didn't know how much power Tom would have to influence his business, but the whole tone of the island could change under a new owner.

“You'll see out the summer without answering to him as a boss,” Eli promised.

Kevin tilted his head to rest on Eli's shoulder, gazing out across the water again as his lover held him close to his side. “I hope so.”

They were quiet for a minute more before Kevin took Eli's hand to pull him back inside to bed.

Chapter 31
Eli

“In Russia, we call this
apple juice
.”

Eli tilted his head back and laughed as Boris downed another shot of the expensive vodka he'd just ordered the three of them. From behind him, Dean stared at Boris and then Eli.

“Hey, you're the one who suggested shots,” Eli put his hands up, grinning at Dean as he leaned his elbow on the bar. He'd seen Kevin about every other day throughout the week, but this weekend, Kevin was busy training their new hire, Alec. That left him with a whole weekend to himself, and now that everyone knew he was taken – but not by Tom – he felt much more comfortable partying.

“I didn't think it would get so serious!” Dean retorted. Dean had successfully talked him into going out dancing, and so far, he didn't regret his decision. Boris was even more charismatic than usual, having already been drinking at a restaurant before they headed to Chrome.

Boris eyed Eli, then clapped his shoulder. “You two can stop now. You're American, I'll give you a break.”

Eli didn't feel the need to rise to this challenge. “I think
both
of us should stop,” Eli answered with a laugh. “I don't want to sleep
all
day tomorrow.”

“Why?” Boris leaned in as if whispering something confidential. When Eli leaned in, Boris murmured, “Do you have a
hot date
?” Then, he grinned broadly.

Eli found himself blushing at the way Boris was giving him a knowing grin. “I – no, actually.”

“Don't embarrass him,” Dean laughed. “That's my job. But you should see him when Kevin's around...”

“Oh, god, guys. Stop,” Eli begged with a laugh, pushing his empty shot glass back across the counter. “There
has
to be something more interesting to talk about.”

Boris hummed, his eyes wandering across the room, then looked back at Eli and said simply, “No. There is not.”

Eli laughed and shook his head as he looked around, too. The room was full of gorgeous men – many of whom he knew, and others he began to recognize by now as the men here to entertain those guests. He still got the occasional guy approaching him to offer either flirtation or sympathies, and he did his best to brush both off.

The blond who swayed up to him was probably in the first category, he decided from the way those eyes were fixed on him. He shifted on his bar stool, leaning back on the counter and opening his body posture in a confident move.
You can try, but honey, it won't work.

The man leaned on the counter next to him and leaned down to murmur, “I heard about you and Tom.” He trailed his finger along Eli's bare ring finger. “Sorry. But, you know... plenty of fish in the sea.”

“Or crabs.” Eli couldn't help the comment that spilled from his lips. A moment later, he realized it could be taken wrong. He raised his hand to his mouth, his eyes widening as he sat up straighter. “Oh, shit, no, I didn't mean--”

The man had recoiled as he turned to place his bar order, but he settled down and laughed at the reassurance. “Good!”

“It's an... inside joke.” Eli pulled his hand back from the touch. Sure, this guy was cute, but he wasn't Kevin. Eli
knew
Kevin better than even he would have expected. “Sorry, darling,” he tried to let him down gently. “I'm taken.”

“I thought I heard that. Must be serious,” the guy answered with a wink. “Shame.”

“Thanks,” Eli laughed quietly at the compliment that was in there. When the guy took his drink and left, he turned on his seat to find Boris and Dean both watching him.

“Are we liver?” Boris asked, his face straight and solemn.

Behind him, Dean laughed. “Yeah. You get a boyfriend and you suddenly become a dude magnet. Hello,” he waved a hand up and down his own body with a disgruntled expression. “This is available, but
no
, he chooses the taken one...”

Eli burst out laughing. “Sorry, guys.”

“At least the bloggers will leave you alone,” Boris told him. “The one tonight never stood a chance.”

He owed a large part of his privacy to his friends banding together to catch the photographer and three bloggers who had tried to sneak onto the island earlier that week, plus one blogger earlier that very night. Every one had been run straight off the island, which made Eli feel warm inside. Their mutual friends were looking out for them.

Some had sided with Tom, others with Eli, and some were trying to stay friends with both of them. Eli didn't mind what they chose, really. He'd expected it, and suspected not all of them were faithful themselves. He wasn't stupid; he knew that money silenced a lot of acts. In any case, nobody wanted their summers to be ruined by the press trying to get the inside scoop.

“Thanks again,” he told Boris. Boris had been the one who'd spotted the blogger, questioned him until he'd figured out who he was, then marched him straight to the island security force to get them to see him off immediately.

“It is no problem,” Boris told him and waved his hand.

Before Eli could say another word, a familiar blond man walked up to the bar, seemingly not noticing them yet.

“A Singapore sling,” Tom ordered from the bartender, then leaned on the bar and glanced down. He physically jolted, his eyes widening at the sight of Eli, Boris, and Dean sitting together at the bar. “Oh. Ah. Hello.”

Eli was surprised that he didn't feel worried, jealous, or even vaguely stressed at the sight of Tom. He just offered a good-natured smile. “Having a good night?”

“Yeah,” Tom answered, looking wary of whatever reaction he thought was coming.

Kill him with kindness,
Eli thought, and the thought sounded more pleasant than dwelling in bitterness over Tom's presence. He just nodded slightly. “Enjoy,” he told Tom, then turned his back to face the others again. “Did anyone see if he was with anyone? The blogger?”

“Er... no,” Boris answered, shifting to look at Eli again instead of Tom. Dean stubbornly refused to look at Tom at all. “He was by himself, we made sure of it.”

“Thanks,” Eli nodded. “So tonight's probably pretty good.”

“I told them to crack down on security,” Boris added. “They will do so.”

Eli squeezed Boris's shoulder, seeing Tom walk off from his peripheral vision. “Great, thanks.” He turned again to order another cocktail while Dean and Boris exchanged looks and quieter words – probably about Tom's presence.

When he got the drink, he spoke up again. “I was thinking of going out with Kevin next week, when he's done training Alec – the new guy at Sweet Nothings,” he added for Boris's benefit.

“Going out where?”

“On the water. Surfing, or kayaking... or water-skiing, if he's up for it... snorkeling...” His mind raced with all the things he wanted Kevin to experience with him.

“Isn't he...” Boris pointed at his ear, clearly trying to think of a way to put it.

“I'll teach him on land where he can hear me, and then speak up when we're in the water,” Eli said simply, cutting off Boris's words before he could say anything wrong.

“He'll like that,” Dean smiled gently. “He likes being around you. I saw it the other day on the beach. Fuck, you two are impossible around each other.”

“Too romantic,” Boris scoffed. “Like puppies.”

“Yeah, definitely. He's very attached,” Dean nodded.

Eli groaned and focused on sipping his cocktail as he looked around the room. It was getting late, and guys were starting to grind up on each other and kiss a little more heavily than they should have in public. He didn't particularly care, but he did kind of wish Kevin were here so he could see how open he was to public affection.

They were right, though. Even his thoughts were constantly on Kevin... he
was
in love.

“Enjoying your evening?” a deep voice greeted and Eli turned to see Bill at the bar now. He looked spiffy in a new suit, and he was waiting for the bartender to hand over a beer.

“Oh, yeah, thanks,” Eli answered with a smile. He hadn't seen the billionaire since he'd witnessed the very public breakup at La Sol. He was almost embarrassed about that, but he hadn't foreseen how ugly it would get.

“I'm glad you're still enjoying yourself here,” Bill told him. “Enjoy it while you're young.”

Eli tilted his head slightly at the wistfulness he heard in Bill's voice. “Something wrong?” he asked casually.

“Oh, just tired, I think,” Bill admitted. “I'm too old for this.”

“We've been saying for years that you should be a hands-off owner,” Dean leaned in to contribute, swirling his cocktail in his hand. “Take a break, man.”

“I might soon,” Bill answered. He glanced straight at Eli again as he added, “One way or another.”

That felt like a hint, and Eli's stomach tightened. He had the feeling he knew what Bill was trying to tell him.

When nobody answered, Bill took his beer and toasted them slightly. “See you around.”

“Bye,” Boris answered.

As soon as Bill walked off, Eli looked at Dean and then their mutual friend.
He wasn't serious about that, was he? Or is he trying to give us the heads-up?

Dean raised his shoulders in a silent shrug.

After a few moments of silence, Boris raised his hand. “Bartender! Three more shots!” This broke the tension.

“Oh, god,” Dean laughed. “We'll be done after these!”

“Not on my watch,” Boris promised.

Eli smiled easily, letting Boris feel like he'd distracted him, but his mind was still lingering on the casual words from the island's owner. Was Tom closing in on this turf? Worse yet, was he already closing on it?
