“Where are they now?” Bella asked and Jessica really didn’t know.

“I’m hoping that they’re on their way back home now.”

“Oh, no! You left them to come here!” Bella screeched.

“Yes. Calm down,” Jessica scolded her. “You needed me. I came, period. I’ll always drop whatever I’m doing.”

“I know. I just feel bad that I took you away from them.”

“Don’t. I’m glad to be back. I need to figure out how I’m going to get my car from the airport, but other than that, I do need to be here so that I can help get Diana settled.” Jessica tried not to think about everything that needed to be done. She always seemed to have a million things to do and she never had enough time.

“Thank you for coming. I really am grateful that you’re my friend.” They hugged and Jessica relaxed. She’d made the right decision about coming home.

Chapter 15

Two Days Later

Jessica unlocked the door at Love Song and walked in, Diana following her closely. Chase and Beau were due to arrive in town and they had volunteered to bring her car from the airport. Feeling excited and a little nervous, Jessica went to the back room and dropped her purse on her desk. She had a ton of work to do. More and more orders were arriving daily through their online site, and she needed to ship them off.

Having Diana, her very competent, amazing assistant, did make her life easier, especially since both Alyssa and Bella hadn’t been able to come into the store. Hannah still came in. She took care of the cash register and the three of them worked together really well. Business was great, but Jessica was hoping to find some time to start designing again.

Since both Beau and Chase weren’t in town, she had spent the last couple of days working really long hours. She wanted to keep up the momentum, but part of her knew that they would want more of her time. If she were honest with herself, she wanted to spend time with them as well. Having a new store meant having a lot of extra responsibilities.

“So, what’s on the agenda today, Boss?” Diana asked, and Jessica could only shake her head.

“I told you to stop with that whole boss thing.”

“I know, but I really like calling you Boss Lady.”

“Fine. I’m going to have you start with printing out all the packing slips. We need to get the shipments together and then you can run to the post office. Hannah should be walking in the door any minute now.”

The sound of the jingle bell alerted her that someone had come into the store. Walking out, she peered around the corner and watched as Reece gave Hannah a long, leisurely kiss. She couldn’t help but watch the couple get lost in each other.

Reece pulled back from the kiss and Hannah panted, blushing under his gaze. Leaning in, he whispered something into her ear and Hannah moaned, wrapping her arms around his neck. Sliding back into her office, Jessica closed her eyes briefly wondering what he had said. All the men in Coltmann County were definitely dominant. She herself had fallen for two men that were very much in control of every situation.

“Are you okay?” Diana whispered, looking around the corner. As soon as she saw what Jessica had seen, she jumped back and giggled. “Damn, the men in this town are so hot. Bella’s got three, Hannah’s got two, and Alyssa has two as well. I’m so jealous!”

“Don’t be. I’m sure you’ll be propositioned soon enough.” She groaned.

“What about you? Where are your men?”

“You’ll meet them soon enough. Let’s get to work.” Jessica booted up her computer for Diana and then went to their shipping area, clicking on the label printer.

“The printer is ready. Print the packing slip first and then the address label. I’m going to check on Hannah and then I’ll be back to help with the shipping.” Nodding her understanding, Jessica left the back office and walked into the store just as Reece was leaving.

Hannah spun around and grinned, “I know…no men! It’s just that Reece and Logan…it’s just so hard to tell them to stay outside when they want to walk me in.” She shrugged and Jessica rolled her eyes. They lived in Coltmann County, the safest place on the planet. Nothing bad ever happened, yet the men always needed to be protective.

“Don’t worry about it.”

“Don’t worry about it? Where is Jessica? What happened to my friend?”

“Oh shut it. I’ll be in the back with Diana getting the orders ready to ship.”

“Sounds good. I’ll start restocking the shelves.” Hannah got right to work and Jessica went to help Diana.

Chase drove Jessica’s car into town, following behind Beau. When Jessica went MIA at Iron Gate, he had assumed the worst. He had thought that she had changed her mind and left them. Guilt still ate at him, especially now that they pulled into town and passed Love Song. He wanted to stop by and talk to her, but he knew that she was working, and he didn’t want to disturb her.

When Mark had come to them and talked to them about Jessica leaving, he had immediately called Clint to check in. He felt so bad for his friends. They were all hurting and he knew that Jessica had done the right thing by leaving to take care of Bella. That’s one of the things he loved about her. She was very loyal and dedicated.

They pulled up to the guest house on the Colton brothers’ property and Chase jumped out of her car, leaving the key under the floor mat before getting into the truck with Beau. They didn’t want to take her car to her because they wanted to take her home with them.

“Let’s go see Clint, Clay, and Cody. I want to check in on them and Bella,” Beau said before putting the truck in drive.

“I was thinking the same thing,” he said as they drove in silence toward the main house. His mind was completely consumed with Jessica and he missed her, even though it had only been a couple of days.

“I was thinking about asking Jessica to move in. Do you think she will?” Beau asked, and Chase arched a brow, wondering why his brother sounded cautious all of a sudden.

“I would hope she would want to explore this thing between us and give us a chance to prove that we are the men for her.”

“How should we ask her?”

“I don’t know.” He shrugged, trying to think of how to convince Jessica to move in. “Let’s not say anything. After we pick her up from work tonight, we’ll bring her to our place. If we just take her and pick her up from work, we don’t really have to say a thing.”

“That could work.” He laughed and Chase smiled, feeling a bit better about the whole situation. He didn’t want their relationship to end now that they were home.

Parking in front of the house, Chase climbed out of the truck as the front door opened and Clay and Clint stepped outside onto the patio. They all walked toward each other and met in the yard. Chase shook their hands and gave them a partial hug.

“How are you guys holding up?” Beau asked, getting to the point.

“It’s been a bit hard. Bella is getting cranky. She wants off bed rest, so we’ve been taking turns keeping her in bed. Cody’s with her right now while we take care of a few chores.” Clay smiled.

“I’m glad that Jessica was here. I just wish she could’ve been here sooner,” Chase said.

“No kidding. We called her almost a dozen times, hoping that she would come. When she showed up and talked to Bella, she completely changed.”

“What do you mean?” he asked.

“She stopped crying.” Clint shrugged. “She wants to go to work.”

“The best thing of all, she wants to try to get pregnant, but we know that she needs to heal first. Things are getting back to normal,” Clay added.

They chatted for a little while longer until Cody walked out the front door, “I’m going to take Bella for a walk,” he announced before Bella walked outside.

Bella came down the stairs and cuddled between her men. Chase already knew what the lump in his throat meant. He wanted that same relationship with Jessica. Beau and Chase said their good-byes and walked back to their truck.

“How long do we wait before showing up at the store?” Chase asked, wanting to see Jessica more and more with each passing minute.

“A few hours,” Beau said.

“Okay. Let’s head home then and unpack. I need to do some cleaning before we bring Jessica home.” Saying that one word,
home
, made him hope to have something long lasting with Jessica.

Jessica looked at the clock and rubbed her eyes. She couldn’t believe that it was already five o’clock. The day flew by, and as she walked around the store, she took a mental note of the things that still needed to be done. She had already sent both Hannah and Diana home. Hannah liked being home when her men got off work, and Diana was still trying to get settled after her recent move.

The front door jingled and Jessica looked up and watched both Beau and Chase strut into the store. They had talked on the phone, but this was the first time she had seen them since leaving Iron Gate and their wild vacation.

“Hi,” she said, shifting her weight from one foot to the other.

“Hey, baby.” Chase went to her first, wrapping her in a full-body hug, and Jessica giggled.

“It feels like we’ve been apart for weeks instead of days.” Chase always said exactly what she was thinking.

“My turn,” Beau demanded, pushing Chase out of his way before grabbing her and holding her close.

“He missed you, too,” Chase said, and she nodded.

She loved that they were both so different. Chase was the sweet-talking romantic, where Beau was the Alpha male. They both made her shiver with excitement and she wanted more than anything to go home with them both.

“Let us take you back to our place,” Beau growled in her ear, and she nodded eagerly.

“I just need to lock up real quick.” Dropping her arms, she went straight to the back room and gathered her belongings.

When she walked out of the back office area, they were both standing by the front door, holding it open for her. Jessica walked to them, shoulders back, holding her breasts out and swaying her hips. From the looks on their faces, they both saw the subtle changes, and looking lower, she could see that they were ready to go home. Laughing to herself and trying to hide her smile, Jessica walked out the door and quickly locked it.

Beau had been waiting days to see Jessica, and although their vacation was technically over, he wasn’t ready for it to end quite yet. Escorting her to the truck, she glided across the ground on her four-inch pumps and Beau tried to calm his hormones. His cock ached and he knew that he needed to keep it together so that Jessica wouldn’t think he was a two pump chump.

He opened the driver’s side door and helped her to climb onto the seat. Bending at her hips, she shook her ass in his face as she crawled slowly across the bench seat. Without thinking, Beau reached up, soothing his hand up her inner thigh, and Jessica froze, looking at him over her shoulder. Her mouth was slightly open, creating a perfect little
O
with her pouty lips, and Beau didn’t stop his hand until he cupped her mound.

Her pussy was hot, practically burning his hand, but what he loved most was that she was already wet, soaking her panties. Without a second thought, Beau reached his other hand up, under her pencil skirt, gripped the side of her panties and pulled them off. She crawled out of them on her way to the middle seat. Holding her bright pink thong in his hand, Beau lifted it to his nose and took a deep breath.

Closing his eyes, he enjoyed her unique fragrance, spicy and sweet just like Jessica herself. When he finally opened his eyes, Jessica was watching him in awed fascination while his brother was smirking and nodding his head. He threw her panties at Chase and he caught them one-handed, inhaling deeply while Jessica tried to pull her panties out of his grasp.

“No way, baby, you can’t have these back. They’re mine,” Chase said, shoving them deep into his pockets, and Beau laughed while climbing into his truck.

“You can’t be serious. I need to wash them. I’ve been wearing them all day,” she said, her voice commanding, and Beau looked over, catching the grin on his brother’s face.

“Absolutely not, you can have them back when I’m done.”

“Ewww! When you’re done? That sounds gross.” She scrunched up her nose, making the silliest face, and Beau couldn’t believe that she didn’t understand their obsession.

“Nothing about you is gross, and sweetheart, I love the way you smell and taste.” He winked. “Just wait until we get you home. I’m going to be doing a whole hell of a lot of smelling and tasting.”

Chapter 16

Driving past the shop, Beau turned left and headed for their one-story ranch-style home. He and Chase had spent hours cleaning and he hoped that Jessica would be impressed. He wanted her to be happy with her new home, even if she didn’t realize yet that it was her home. He concentrated on the road instead of staring at Jessica like he wanted to.

Hearing her moan, he ground his teeth together and fought the instinct to look. He knew that Chase was doing something to her, but if he looked over now, they wouldn’t make it all the way home. Taking a glance, he stepped on the gas. Jessica was moving on the seat, fucking her pussy against Chase’s fingers. Trying to find her release, she held onto his hand to make Chase move faster, but Chase only grinned and shook his head, playing with her.
