They both lay panting staring up at the ceiling as the sweat cooled their burning bodies. Dahlia turned her face to Devin.

“So all that to watch me masturbate?” She laughed.

“It’s not just that.”

“I know. She said. I get it.”

“A man wants to see you thrill. The more frantically you enjoy anything, the more we love you for it.”

“So you’re saying the pussy has the power?” Dahlia smiled up at the ceiling.

“Oh yeah. The pussy most definitely has the power,” Devin rolled out of bed and began to gather the clothes strewn across the room. He turned on the shower and gathered up bathrobes and towels for both of them. “Want to get in with me?”

“Sure,” Dahlia purred enjoying the afterglow.

She leaned against him as the warm water fell around her and they washed each other like silly little kids playing in the bath tub. Wrapping his arms around her he rested his chin on her head. “I have to be at the airport by 11 tomorrow.”

Dahlia felt her breath catch in her throat, but it’s not like there was any surprise. She had known all along he had to go.

“I can keep in touch, but I don’t know exactly when I’ll be back this way again.”

Dahlia nodded. “I know.”

She didn’t go with him to the airport. They said goodbye at the door of his hotel room, before she went on her way.

“I’ll call you when I come back through, but I’ll understand if you don’t answer. It’s your job to go on with your life. Go flaunt that power.” Devin smiled and gave her a little play nudge on the chin with his fist.

Dahlia doubted she would answer when he called. They each found what they were looking for, and that was the end. She would go on, better for the experience and glad for the lesson.

“Pussy has the power” she whispered as she left the elevator for the last time. Look out world, ‘cause here she comes.
