Jane had decided that white was hardly appropriate for her so had gone for her favourite combination of pale coffee trimmed with deep aqua lace and no veil but a couple of silk flowers in matching colours set in her hair with long ribbons down her back.

A friend who was in the church had agreed to conduct the ceremony. Jane was nervous as she, on Prometheus’s arm, approached the makeshift altar, but when she saw Angus look at her with such love in his eyes, she forgot everything but him. She repeated her vows in a firm voice, and then they were married. Photos were taken, congratulations flowed in, and she was content.

Apricot roses were everywhere in the marquee on large stands in each corner. Jane had not wanted them on the top table as they would clash horribly with her dress. She had compromised and carried a very small posy of deep cream roses with long ribbons and that was laid on the table in front of them. Speeches were made, and toasts drunk. Master Rafael obliged the company by playing his classical guitar as the guests’ table hopped and chatted. Jane’s family were very happy for her, and they got on well with Angus and Eric. Jane’s fears were at last put to rest as it was obvious that nobody was going to let slip anything about BDSM or Prometheus in Chains. Emma’s choice of Eric was approved by her parents, and Jane breathed a sigh of relief. She knew her Emma, and it was a great relief that there was going to be no rift there. The party carried on late into the night except for three people. Jane gave her bouquet to Fiona and then, when Fiona had changed, she, Alexander, and Ruari got into Alexander’s car and departed for Inverness and their future together. Jane and Angus were to go up in three weeks to attend the wedding.

“Happy, mo run?”

“Oh yes!”

“Dance with me!”

And he swept her into his arms and onto the dance floor.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR

I was born in South Yorkshire in England and moved to southwest Scotland more than twenty years ago. I retired from teaching a few years ago and spent my time reading, sewing, cooking, and gardening. I decided that there ought to be more to retirement than that.

Reading has always played a large part in my life, and the house is full of books. My youngest son challenged me to write a novel of my own and
Initiation
, book one in the
Prometheus in Chains
series, was the result.

I found that writing suddenly took over my life. Now, with a head full of Doms and subs, I love to spend a few hours a day writing or researching. Retirement has certainly delivered a lot more.

I go nowhere without a pencil and notebook, and my poor long-suffering husband has got used to having to sit in the car with me, waiting until the notes are finished before we can go and do the shopping.

I believe the world has enough sadness in it, and my characters will always get their HEA even if the road is rocky.

I am very grateful for all the help and advice I have received from everyone at Siren. Especially my editor Alex and Christine for the lovely covers.

I would love to hear from you, and I always answer emails or contacts on Facebook.
