“I don’t care. I’m just glad the car saved your life,” he said.

She settled back on her pillows, and he held her hand in both of his. To her delight he told her how much he loved her.

“When I heard the crash, I ran down the drive and I saw the crushed car. I couldn’t believe you were alive. I almost died when I saw you broken and bloody in there, and I wouldn’t have been able to go on without you. You’re my reason for living, for getting up in the morning, for taking my next breath. You’re everything to me. Jane you must
never
leave me.
Never
put yourself in danger again. Promise me that!”

She felt silly for having doubted him. “I promise. I’ve been very foolish.”

“Yes, my little love, you have. You should have stayed and talked to me. I thought we’d got beyond all those worries of yours. I see I have more work to do.” It was all going to be all right now, after all. “When you are better, there’s a spanking in your future for taking such risks with what I own and love.”

She pretended not to understand him. “But you said the car didn’t matter, Master.”

He chuckled, delighted, she knew, as he heard “Master” and said, “Naughty little sub, you know exactly what I mean.”

“Oh, yes, Master. I am really looking forward to that.”

Then Emma rushed in with Eric and had to be soothed and petted, but all the while, Jane was conscious that
Master
looked at her, watched her. He saw when she was tired and made the others leave. Her heart swelled with love for him. How could I have doubted him?
she thought to herself.

Chapter Fourteen

Angus had decided they would have a weekend away. Jane was recovering nicely, but he thought that a couple of days by the sea would do her good. He took her to Findochty, a small town on the Moray coast in his beloved Scotland. They went for walks by the sea and he was pleased to see the colour return to her cheeks. Her eyes glowed with pleasure as she looked at the dolphins in Spey Bay, sampled the whisky in a distillery tour and browsed the secondhand books in the Logie Steading.

All too soon, the break was over, and they headed home. Angus and Jane had just arrived, when Alexander and Ruari brought Fiona home with them. Angus knew that there had been trouble in the club with Fiona’s ex-boyfriend Gordon. He also knew that his nephews had more than a passing interest in the young woman.

He and Jane listened as his nephews explained the situation.

“Fiona was attacked in the club car park. She was taken to hospital, then, a threatening note was left under her cup this morning. We discussed the situation with the doctor. Although he really wanted to keep her in longer, he was concerned that the hospital couldn’t provide security for her. She has to rest and take things easy for a few days. We wanted to bring her here, where we could look after her. We hope you don’t mind,” Alexander said. Angus looked at Jane. She was better now and would be able to cope with the extra guest. Feminine company would do her good.

“Of course we don’t mind. You must stay here with us until Gordon is caught. We’d be delighted to have you,” Jane said.

“Thank you so much for asking me to stay, but I really don’t want to put you at risk. You can see that my ex is a violent man. He won’t care who he hurts.”

Angus could see that Fiona did want to stay but she worried they might be in danger, too.

Nevertheless, we really do want you to stay with us,” he said. He looked at Jane.

“Yes, my dear, we do. Where are you going to go if you don’t stay here? He may be a violent man, but he can’t get to you in this house. You have three large men to defend you. I am sure he won’t want to take them on. Men like him are usually cowards. They can manage to hurt a woman, but don’t have the balls to face a real man.”

Master Angus laughed and patted Jane’s hand.

“Very true, mo run. Besides, if you stay here, Fiona, you will be doing me a great favour. All I hear is weddings, caterers, flowers, and dresses. If Jane had a woman to talk to, I’d be spared so many of those details. I have one of my special parties to organise, for the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee weekend. Sixty years on the throne is well worth celebrating. My party will be something you will not want to miss!” He smiled at her warmly and she began to weaken, as he’d known she would.

“If you’re really sure? I don’t want to inconvenience you or put you at risk.”

“Of course we’re sure, now come upstairs and I will settle you in the spare room. We can leave the men to talk down here.”

Jane took her arm, and helped her up the stairs. Angus could see how very relieved and happy Fiona looked.

* * * *

Master Angus wanted to give his party. Jane was whole and healed and back home where she belonged. Their marriage was fast approaching, but the sort of celebration he wanted for that was not in his party plan, and he smiled in anticipation. Jane was up to the ears in wedding plans, and that’s all he heard at Curvy Woman. His designers had been hijacked, although he supposed that the range of wedding items they were in the process of introducing would sell well. She was going to have to choose which of those designs she wanted to wear on the day, and it was not going to be easy.

Jane needed to relax, and he had just the game for her before the weather grew too cold to eat and relax outdoors.

His garden was big, and the drive up to the house was lined with tall, ancient beech trees. Their branches met in a canopy over the drive. Their delicate leaves fluttered like green lace in the sunshine. It was like driving through a tunnel, and the sun’s rays, penetrating some of the leaves, dappled the ground below. The lawn sloped down to the stream that was the southern boundary of his property. He had planted flowering shrubs of all kinds singly and in groups about the lawn, and the flowers on them glowed in the afternoon sun. There was also a ring of white stones around the lawn. To the east and west he had neighbours, but their houses didn’t overlook his garden. In any case the stone walls of the boundaries and the high beech hedges ensured privacy from all but the most determined.

The terrace outside the house was wide and paved with wide shallow steps down to the lawn. He’d invested in comfortable and sturdy garden furniture with strategically placed tethering rings on all the extra-wide recliners and picnic tables. It would
not
do for them to collapse under his guests when they were fucking their subs. The recliners were provided with thickly padded covers and each one had a small table next to it. He could just see the expression on Jane’s face when the rules of “Hunt the Sub” were explained, and she wouldn’t be the only one, to be surprised. Would she be happy to have Emma there? That was a big question as he wanted to invite Eric, who would not be happy to be with any other sub than Emma. Fiona, Emma’s friend from university, was a must for his nephews. Jenny, another sub from Prometheus in Chains, the woman who had taken Jane on her first visit to the club, was to be invited, too. Prometheus was showing an interest in her he couldn’t hide from his old friend. There was something odd there that bore further investigation, and Angus filed it away in his mind for later, resolving to help if he could. Torquil and Rafael, another of the club’s resident Doms, could bring a sub each or just let him invite Gloria and Gemma if they thought the invitation coming from them would raise expectations they didn’t want to fulfill. Jane thought Torquil and Gemma had something going, but Angus wasn’t sure. Catriona would bring her blonde Angel, too.

He would have to go to the supermarket without Jane. There was no need for her to see his purchase and spoil her surprise and that of the other subs’ too, as she would not be able to resist asking them what it was for. He was going to need to order a few pairs of those nipple clamps with bells. Best order extras so as not to be caught out. He also would get a new set of glass dildoes, he thought.

His Jane would do the food with Emma, Gloria, and Gemma helping. Maybe Jenny could help, too. He loved the stuff she had done for his birthday, and those palmiers were to die for. Teamed with her salads of lettuce, tomatoes, spring onions, grapes with a dressing of olive oil and raspberry vinegar with just a little Dijon mustard and the French bread she served with them, they would eat more than well. If she had the time, she could make those biscuits, of mixed chopped nuts, dark brown sugar, and cinnamon. Her ginger scones were good, too, and he smiled a wicked smile at the thought of ginger.

Now all he had to do was to sort out a date. He had better go and find out how long it took to get the clamps, then work around that. He made a couple of calls then decided on the Queen’s Jubilee weekend. Everyone had Monday and Tuesday off to celebrate the Diamond Jubilee, and all would be in a party mood the whole weekend. He decided to order a large cake decorated with a Union Jack and all the party gear to go with it. Monday was the chosen day, and the invitations were sent out.

Chapter Fifteen

Jane was happy to oblige him with the food. She realised she had neglected him somewhat with all the fuss attendant on their wedding. All the Doms and subs invited accepted, and even though she had doubts she made no demur when she read Emma’s name on the list.

“I am still not convinced it will work, especially if the family gets to know about it, Master, but Emma wants it that way, and Master Eric is most attentive. Has he spoken to you about a collar?”

“Now, what do you know about that? It is most secret.”

“Well nothing really, but he asked my opinion about her preferences for gold or silver, and I told him about the watch I have for her,” Jane said.

“So you put two and two together and made…”

“Four, Master. I am sure that is what he intends doing.”

“Maybe, mo run, but if he does, he will want it to be special, so we will say nothing and be as surprised as everyone else.”

“Of course, Master. I wouldn’t want to spoil their special surprise. I remember mine!”

She blushed and smiled shyly up at him, and he lifted her hand to his mouth and kissed each finger.

“So do I. I suspect Prometheus will be hoping nobody ever repeats
that
in his club. Apricot roses and BDSM do not mix in his opinion.” He swept her into his arms and kissed her witless, not that she felt that was difficult for him to do. He always had that effect on her.

She got to work on the menus, and Gloria, Jenny, and Gemma turned up a couple of days before to help. They had the TV in the kitchen and commiserated with the people watching as the pageant on the Thames took place under gray skies to start with and eventually rain. Nevertheless, in the never-ending interviews, people were happy to recall their memories of a sixty-year reign and proud of their country’s heritage. None of them had ever seen so many Union Flags. Her Majesty looked regal as usual, and they marvelled that at eighty-six, she could stand for so long in the cold wind. They loved the moment when she saw the puppet from
War Horse
standing on the bank for her amusement.

The initial preparations wouldn’t have taken quite so long if they had not spent so much time watching the TV, but eventually the food was done and put in fridge or freezer to await the big day. The house had several vases of beautiful apricot roses, and Jane was teased unmercifully by her friends who remembered Master Angus’s proposal in Prometheus in Chains.

She blushed and said little but remembered how she’d rewarded him when he came home with these roses. She’d been in the kitchen making lunch, and he’d crept up behind her, and putting his hands over her eyes, had led her to the terrace where two huge bouquets of the apricot roses that had become so special to her, awaited.

“Master, they are beautiful. Thank you! You spoil me!” She gasped at the number of beautiful roses he’d brought her.

“It is my pleasure,” he’d said, and she’d made sure it was. She had unzipped his trousers, carefully taking out his burgeoning erection. Kneeling at his feet she’d taken him in her mouth licking and sucking in the way she knew pleased him, but after a couple of minutes, he’d inserted a thumb in her mouth and extracted his cock. He had pulled her to her feet, pushing her down on the recliner. Then he’d inserted one long finger in her cunt and massaged her G-spot. She loved him to do that to her and knew he loved her reaction. She’d arched her back as she moaned and writhed.

“Oh yes. Oh please more, Master.”

He’d obliged as he invariably did. She’d protested when he took the finger out, thinking he’d done but not for long as he replaced it by two, then three fingers and massaged inside her cunt until she thrashed about on the recliner and her limbs shook. It was an indescribable feeling of intense pleasure, and she’d moaned and panted for more, hearing him chuckle. She knew he loved to see her like this and loved the fact that he could arouse her to such heights with only his fingers. Sometimes when they were out in the city he’d look at her and curl his fingers, and she’d blush prettily and squirm in embarrassment. The more she did that, the more often he indulged himself, but she couldn’t help her reaction, which he loved to see. He called her his treasure.

Finally he’d pressed her swollen clit between thumb and forefinger, and she knew he watched her fall apart in front of him as he told her he loved to do. Then he’d been able to wait no longer as, straddling her hips, his knees on the recliner at either side of her, he had entered her. Once inside her, he’d been in the mood for long, slow loving, even when she clutched at his buttocks and desperately urged him, “Faster, Master, fuck me hard and fast!”
