This oversized LEGO minifig bellhop greets guests in front of the LEGOLAND Hotel in Billund, Denmark. The suitcase he’s about to pick up is made of leather.
The torsos for an army of storm troopers roll off the assembly line at LEGO’s manufacturing plant in Billund, Denmark. The rebels will be crushed one minifig at a time.
This is the ten-foot motorboat replica created by LEGO artist Nathan Sawaya that I helped move across the docks and streets of Seattle. Despite being glued together, at several hundred pounds it decidedly does not float.
This twenty-two-foot LEGO Titanic, the result of eight months’ work by AFOL Scott Fowler, is on display at BrickCon 2008, Seattle. It comes apart in three seven-foot sections.
