Venus moved into the small chamber. She scanned the
wall, her gaze coming to rest where the mayor’s personal elevator
was hidden.

“Wow, so he did have everything, the little weasel!”
Gram snarled behind her, causing Venus to jump. “While so many were
starving, he played with his electronics, the prick. I’m so glad
your mother turned him down.”

“Gram, you scared the crap out of me. Warn me next
time. You shouldn’t have come down the stairs by yourself. You’re
still healing.” Venus fussed and placed the knife back in the pouch
under her skirt, all the while keeping her attention on her
grandmother. The growl that had come from her still sounded too
close to that of a Bone Eater’s.

She placed her hand on her Gram’s arm. “You are
right. He was a prick. These are just more of his toys. I’ve used a
lot of them, piecing together the things I needed. This elevator
has a keypad, so we’re going to need a code. Maybe it will take us
down to the tunnels, but first I have to see if I can access it,
find the code.” She nodded to the recliner in the corner of the
room.

“Also, you shouldn’t be walking around so soon. Come,
let’s get you comfortable before I work on this. We can talk while
I work.”

After settling her grandmother, Venus walked back
upstairs to her apartment. She gathered her equipment and a fold-up
chair, all the while her thoughts on what could be beneath
them.

Gram smiled at her as she returned and set up her
chair and tools.

“Venus! Venus, where are you?” Jaxxon yelled. Before
she could even say a word he appeared in the room. He nodded to her
Gram and hurried over to Venus. “What do you think you are doing?”
He glanced around.

She stood and kissed his cheek before she sat
again.

“Gram was telling me about some tunnels under the
city that the mayor had built before everything went to hell. If
I’m not mistaken, this elevator should take us straight to them.
Gram said the mayor had food and all sorts of stuff down there in
case of an emergency.” She grabbed her electronic scanner and
started to attach it to the small code box. “If I can crack the
code the mayor used, we can get it going and go check things
out.”

Jaxxon pulled the chair away from the elevator with
her in it and stepped in front of her. “So what if you do get the
elevator running? Are you planning on going down there alone?”

She leaned back in her chair, stared up at Jaxxon,
and folded her arms. “Do you really believe I would be that dense,
Jaxxon? I was going to see if I could get the elevator working
first then wait for you and Volund.” Hurt that he would think her
so stupid, the last word she spoke came out in a whisper.

She didn’t say anything as Jaxxon kneeled in front of
her and sighed. “I’m sorry, but you are so used to taking care of
everything yourself.”

Gram snorted behind them. “You should have seen her
as a child. She was three times worse.”

“Gram, you’re not helping.” Venus looked over her
shoulder at her and cracked up when she saw the magazine she held,
head cocked to the side as the magazine unfolded and the centerfold
was revealed. Her grandmother’s eyes grew big and a frown replaced
the smile as she stared at the long, shiny page. When Venus had
searched through this floor, she’d stuck all the porn magazines
inside the chair when she ran across them.

“That perverted son of a bitch, he even has kiddie
porn. I always told your grandfather not to trust the snake.” She
ripped up the magazine. Looking up, here she noticed Acwel and she
actually blushed.

Acwel grinned and kneeled next to her. “How are you
feeling today, Belinda? Can I get you anything to drink or eat?” He
shook out the blanket Venus had brought and tucked it into the
chair around her.

“Should you even be up?” He frowned and looked over
at Venus, but turned back to her Gram when she snorted.

“I’m fine. Now quiet fussing over this old lady and
help Jaxxon.” Gram waved him away, but he only laughed.

“You are not old. I’m afraid I’m much older than you.
To me you are the young one,” he teased and then stood up.

Jaxxon laughed at Acwel and picked up Venus’s things.
“Would you mind if I use my own instruments?”

Leaning forward, she wrapped her arms round his
shoulders. “I love it when you use your tools and you can use them
anytime you want.” She licked the side of his neck. “But I think we
should wait until we are alone.”

Gram, Acwel, and Venus laughed as Jaxxon fell
backward and moaned. “You do not play fair,” he grumbled.

Chapter Ten

Venus took her chair and moved over to sit next to
Gram while Jaxxon and Acwel worked on the elevator’s code. Every
few minutes he would glance back at them and grumble about
something. She grinned and admired the way his muscles in his
backside tightened whenever he moved.

“You-hoo, Venus!” Gram waved a hand in front of her
face, laughing. “Girl, you have it bad. So tell me is this alien
man of yours any bigger than an Earth man’s…? Do they have anything
extra I should be warned about when the new group of men arrives?”
She whispered into her ear both Jaxxon and Acwel turned their
attention towards them.

Taking a sip of her water, Venus choked and gagged.
Her face now burned, and she turned toward her grandmother. “Gram
they heard every word you said!”

She motioned at Jaxxon and Acwel, who grinned like a
fool at both of them. “Go on,” he coaxed, “tell your Gram what she
wants to hear.” He crossed his arms over his chest and leaned
against the wall.

Not one to back down, Venus turned away from Jaxxon.
“Well, Jaxxon and Volund both have these fine hairs on their…well,
you know… They’re about an inch or two larger than most Earth men’s
cocks. Oh, and they have fangs like the old vampire stories that
they use to bite you, releasing some kind of hormone…” Her face
heated, and she peeked to see Jaxxon adjust himself. “Well, let’s
just say it enhances the lovemaking by ten times.”

Gram fanned herself and looked over at Jaxxon then at
Acwel. “Damn, I’m going to have to get well soon.” She patted
Venus’s arm and again whispered. “Are this Acwel and Badden the
same as your men? Don’t get me wrong, I loved your grandfather and
still do, but he’s gone now.” She glanced out the window near
them.

“Your grandfather transformed before I did. I had no
choice… He kept coming after me.” She twisted back to Venus. Tears
ran down her cheeks. “I took his shot gun and killed him. I buried
him that same day, because I knew I was changing, too. I’d planned
on killing myself next, but I was too late. The final stages of the
change were fast, and it’s the last thing I remember.”

Reaching over, Venus hugged her grandmother, careful
of the now-open sore on her back, the last spike having just fallen
off. “I’m so sorry, Gram, but Grandpa would have wanted you to do
it, anyway. I knew someone had been killed when I went by to check
on you a couple days later, but I just didn’t know who.” She
released her and grabbed the ointment she had in her pouch at her
side. “Lean forward, Gram. I want to put some more of this on the
open spot. Your last spike has fallen off.” Acwel along with Jaxxon
came over to them.

“It’s hard when it’s a loved one. But when it’s for
the protection of others, or to save them from unending pain, then
it’s for the best.” Acwel reached for her Gram’s hand and squeezed
it.

“Badden was the one who had to kill our mate. She was
bitten by one of most poisonous creatures on our world and would
have suffered much. Even our civilization with its high tech
science couldn’t save her.”

“I’m so sorry for you both. I was with my husband for
over sixty years and we had a wonderful life.” Gram smiled and
leaned forward.

Jaxxon kneeled next to her grandmother and inspected
her back. “You should use the tube I gave you yesterday. It already
looks like most of the skin has grown over the other places. I
would say by tomorrow your back will be eighty percent healed.”

He patted Gram’s other hand and kissed her cheek. “If
your husband was anything like you and Venus, I’m positive he would
have wanted you to do what you did, but do not worry,” he leaned
in, pretending to whisper in her grandmother’s ear, “I can vouch
for Acwel and Badden they’re sapins are just as large as ours, but
the new soldiers coming to Earth brag that they’re sapins are much
bigger. There is also a special node that does many things to make
a woman scream in pleasure.”

Venus dropped the tube and sat up straight.
“Jaxxon!”

Her Gram smiled and wiggled her eyebrows at her.
“Well, it looks like I might have some fun after all.” She elbowed
her teasingly.

“Humph, maybe I need to check out one of these new
men, too,” Venus mumbled and turned to see Volund had come in with
two new warriors.

She stared up at the men embarrassed to be caught
talking about this in front of strangers. “Not another word
Gram.”

Gram snickered and eyed the new men in the
doorway.

Volund had been right, there was no way they could
have hidden the red scale-like skin. One had eyes that were black
as night, but he had full red lips and a long forked tongue that
came out when he spoke. She shivered seeing the strangers.

Being afraid of spiders wasn’t the only thing Venus
didn’t care for, Snakes and reptiles were not something she felt
comfortable around, either.

As if sensing Venus’s reaction, Gram leaned forward
and patted her arm reassuring her.

“It seems like your mate may like a new man after
all. What’s happened to you, Volund? You once had two women begging
for your sapin before you mated. Have you lost your touch?” One of
the strangers said, teasing Volund, placing him on her so wanting
to be shot list.

Her gaze jumped to Volund. She could have sworn his
eyes flashed red fire before he roared a battle cry and lunged for
her.

Volund rushed Venus and threw her up over his
shoulder, careful not to hurt her or the babies. “There will be no
other men with Venus—EVER!” He stormed past everyone. “Jaxxon,
introduce Zandor and Remus to Venus’s Gram, while I show our mate a
few things she needs to learn. Badden you and Acwel explain the new
plans to them.”

“You don’t understand. Put me down, Volund. You can’t
come in the middle of a conversation and make assumptions!” Venus
slapped his ass before he slammed through their bedroom door. He
lowered her feet to the floor and backed her up against the wall.
He reached up and ripped her sweater in half, exposing her large
breasts to his view. “You said you needed to try a new man. It
isn’t going to happen, Venus. We just need to give you a little
more attention.” Volund covered her mouth before she could say a
word. He pushed her pants down over her hips and then down to her
ankles.

Never breaking the kiss, Volund got rid of his armor
with a push of a button. He reached between them and slid two
fingers into her quivering sypu. Anytime Volund or Jaxxon touched
her, her body heated until their actions put out the sexual tension
they called up. However, this was different. Volund hesitated..

He broke the kiss and leaned his forehead against
hers, removing his fingers from her pussy and grasping her butt
cheeks instead. “Will you trust me?”

She frowned and cocked her head to the side as she
slipped her arms around his neck. “Of course I trust you. I carry
our children, you have saved my life a number of times and I love
you.” She kissed his lips. “I love you both. I would die for
you.”

Stepping away from her, he nodded to their sleeping
platform. “Get on the bed on your hands and knees. I want that ass
facing me,” he ordered. At the sound of his voice, her nipples
hardened as she followed his sexual command.

“Jaxxon and I have been waiting to show you a few
things. On our world, Azutuan males have many different body parts
that are used to please our women. The mirellae is just one thing.”
He ran his hand down her spine to her butt cheek and squeezed.

“Such a lovely body and all ours. No one—and I mean
no one—will ever touch this body except Jaxxon and me. There will
be no other men for you. If you need a different sort of loving, we
know many forms of sex. Spread your legs wide apart.” He leaned
over the mattress, moving her legs just as he wanted her.

“Volund?” she whispered, excited, wet, and ready for
whatever he was going to do.

“Not a word, just feel, Venus.” One, then two of his
fingers moved in and out of her pussy until they were nicely coated
with her juices. He brought them to his mouth. “So sweet.”

Venus whimpered as she glanced over her shoulder to
see Jaxxon transhifting into the room.

“Her Gram and Charlotte are keeping our friends
occupied,” he stated. “I see Venus is ready.”

Chapter Eleven

Jaxxon crawled on the bed in front of Venus. “Watch
me and only me. As you know, our skin is thicker and tougher than
yours, but what you don’t know is that our skin moves and grows.
Right now Volund is giving you what you need so don’t be
frightened.”

Behind her, Volund crawled onto the bed and placed
his hands on her butt cheeks, separating them. Warm lube squirted
into her ass, preparing her for his cock, and then he slowly worked
his cock into her. At least she thought it was his cock until…

“What the…?” She tried to look over her shoulder, but
Jaxxon leaned down into her face as something worked into her pussy
at the same time.

“Look at me. What you are feeling is not one of your
human toys. We do not need those.” Jaxxon grinned and brushed her
hair back away from her eyes. “Sweet warrior, we can create many
wonderful things.” Jaxxon rose from the bed as Volund ran his hands
up her back and placed kisses where his hands had just been.
