Epilogue

Hayward
stood in the doorway of the nursery and watched his gorgeous wife change Evan Campbell’s diaper on the changing table. They had been married a little over a year and his life was perfect. Evan’s twin brother
Kevan
was staring at him from his crib. “What is it little man?” The baby smiled at him.
Hayward
walked over to the crib and picked up his son.

“Why are you never around when this needs to be done?” True asked, as she picked up the kicking baby.

He kissed her on the lips, “Because you do a much better job than me.”
 

True poked him in the ribs. “Well, the next time you’ll change him and I don’t want to hear any excuses.” She placed Evan on her hip and smiled at him.

He was amazed how both children had his jet-black hair and ocean blue eyes. They looked nothing like True. He kept telling her how he wanted a gorgeous little daughter, but True gave him one of those ‘you’ve got to be kidding me’ looks.

He never thought after Brooke and
Tyler
died that he would find someone to look past all his flaws and find the man he could be. True did that. He would be forever grateful that she stuck with him.
 
“Have I told you how much I love you today?”

“No, you haven’t.” True replied. “But you don’t have to because I can see it in your eyes every time you look at me.”
