She smiled from underneath her lashes and touched his face with her fingers.

“You love me?  I am so happy.  I think we are the best of friends but I was worried that you would not love me.  I was ready to cry for want of you telling me that you might.  I am so glad you love me too.  Her smile grew and she hugged him to her squealing in delight.

“I am starving.  I do not think I have eaten since yesterday.”  Sebastian paced to the window and ran his fingers through his hair mussing it so a curl fell over his left eye.  “I had a plate at breakfast but never touched it.  There was so much to do.  Do you want a plate brought to the room or do you want to dress and go down for dinner?”  He turned to her and raised another eyebrow at her.  She ran her hands down his arms and watched the hair stand up on his arms.  It excited her.  His skin was so smooth and hard.  She traced a scar on his wrist. “I want to stay in our rooms and continue my education into the arts of loving.  Can we dine here by ourselves?”

“Yes, darling you are the Lady of the castle and can do whatever you like.  I will ring for our dinner. How would you like a nice hot bath and I will scrub your back?”  “That sounds lovely.”  She kissed his lips tenderly on her tiptoes.  “Can we do this often husband?”  He stared into her eyes and smiled.  “You can do this anytime you want my lovely wife.  This is just the start of the rest of our lives.  The New Year is just beginning and I am excited for us.”  She laughed loudly and threw herself into his arms.  He caught her and twirled her around the room.  He was deliriously happy.  How wonderful!
