Delirium.
Critics like his novels, but Cooper himself is widely loathed, and has to switch cities every few months. His gloomy magazine articles have won America’s top travel writing award—the Lowell Thomas Gold Medal—as well as a Canadian National Magazine Award. He was last spotted in Mexico.
