Being rich, Trace’s best buddy, Jack, has led a charmed life. When he, too, falls for Diana, he knows she’d never go for a guy who’s spent the last few years of his life traipsing around Africa and working at a resort designed for sexual stimulation. Chapter One

“Seriously?” Diana Bowman’s best friend, Sherry, wiped down the wooden bar in front of her and poured Diana a beer. “You’d go to a fantasy resort for four days and let two drop-dead gorgeous men touch you every which way?”

“To be honest, the idea is beyond anything I’d ever imagined doing, but the brochure claims if the hunks assigned to any client engage in sex, they’ll lose their jobs.”

Sherry huffed out a laugh. “Well, that’s not any fun.” Her friend wiggled her fingers. “Let me see that application.”

Diana rotated the laptop to face her. A roar went up as some team scored a touchdown. She waited for the crowd noise to die and leaned closer. “Don’t tell me if a hottie ran his fingers all over your body you wouldn’t climax in a heartbeat. It might not be as frustrating as you think.”

Sherry laughed. “You’re probably right.”

“Here are my options.” She tapped the right side of the screen.

Her friend’s eye nearly bugged out. “Jesus. You want them to use sex toys on you?”

“Shh. I’m horny, what can I say? If their cocks had been an option, I might have checked that box, too.” She took a sip of her beer and tried to ignore the slight mold scent permeating the sports bar. “After Dave cheated on me, I haven’t been with anyone. This way I get the fun with no emotional attachment.”
And hopefully some satisfaction
.

Sherry furrowed her brows. “You told me you and Christian did the nasty a few times.”

“I lied. I didn’t want you to think I was a loser.” Admitting defeat was so not her style.

One of the regulars waved to Sherry. “Hey, Sherry. Can I get a beer?”

“Give me a sec, sweetie.” She turned back. “Honey, you could never be a loser.” She swept a look back at her next customer. “So, now you’re saying it’s been two years since you got laid? Why? You have tons of men asking you out all the time.”

Did she have to announce her failure to the world? She looked over at the man who’d asked for the beer, but he appeared glued to the overhead TV screen. “I hate to say it, but yes, it’s been a long time. I haven’t met anyone I’ve found interesting enough to make love to. Remember, I’ve been busy running my business.” Rationalization had a way of creeping into too many of her conversations of late.

“Sure you have.” Sherry shrugged, poured the man his draft, and delivered it to him. She returned a moment later and read more of the application. “You checked bondage, too? That could be dangerous.”

“They won’t hurt me, just tease me to death.”

Her friend hissed in a breath. “I know I’m the one who’s been pushing you to step out of your comfort zone, but you don’t have to go overboard.”

“You know I love you like the sister I never had, but please understand. I need to do this for my mental health.” Being a psychologist took its toll sometimes.

“It’s your vacation.” Sherry pumped her fist and smiled. “Go Titans.”

“Go Titans? That’s a blast from the past.” She and Sherry had gone to every high school football game and cheered, but only from the stands. Diana had tried out for cheerleading every year but never made it, despite being able to do backflips better than any of the other girls. She’d heard she was too much of a nerd to get accepted.

Pushing aside the rejection that still stung, Diana tapped the keyboard. “Enter. Done. I’m going.”

* * * *

The drive from Flagstaff to the Santa Catalina Mountains located east of Tucson took about five hours. The last part of the drive to the Sensual Pleasures Fantasy Resort up a long, winding road was flanked with tall pines and offered a spectacular view of the desert plains below. Regardless of the serene vista, she had a hard time calming the jitters in her stomach.

When she arrived at the resort, she smiled at the accommodations. Tall, white columns flanked an entranceway surrounded by colorful flowers and tall palms. What made this place extra nice was the grand stone fountain in the middle of the circular drive that reminded her of Rome. Now that was a vacation.

She parked and was in the process of retrieving her suitcase from the back of her trunk when some twenty-something-year-old man in a blue striped shirt trotted up to her. A hot and sexy man, she might add.

“Let me take that for you, ma’am.”

Ma’am? That hurt. She was only thirty-two.

“I’m Diana.”

She was told last names weren’t necessary. Each week, the resort only accepted fifteen guests, and the staff was well versed in who would be arriving and when. They claimed that by limiting the guest list, it made for a more intimate setting, with
intimate
being the key to this place.

A cool breeze blew, sending the sweet smell of jasmine her way. She closed her eyes and inhaled, loving everything relating to the outdoors.

“Your bags will be in your room. Check-in is to the right.”

She smiled and he took off. If everyone were as friendly, she’d come to the right place.

Sharon, the woman at the desk check-in station, said Diana was scheduled for a massage first thing, even before going to her room. The elegant woman tapped her iPad. “It helps relax the client before the fantasy truly begins.”

“You won’t get a complaint from me.” Her nerves were still taut from the long drive, and having a deep massage would really help.

Sharon showed her to the locker room, where Diana changed into a nice, fluffy robe and slippers. Already, she knew her decision to come here was the right one. Her first big question was whether some extraordinary male was about to rub his delicious hands all over her body or would an experienced woman be sent to do the job?

“Diana?”

Damn. A woman. Oh, well. At the price she paid for this experience, she didn’t think she’d be waiting long before she was whisked away to her fantasy.

After an amazing massage, she headed to her room to shower, needing to get the oils off her body. She pushed open the room door with her hip and grinned. “This is huge.”

She dropped her stuff on the bed, checked out the view of the front gardens and the distant city below, and went straight to the bathroom.

If the main room was nice, the bath was spectacular. The shower alone could hold six people. Maybe some of the women’s fantasies included washing lots of men while being naked themselves. Hmm. Too bad she didn’t think of putting that down on the application.

Excited about starting her new experience, she showered quickly, towel-dried, and exited the bathroom, trying to decide what to put on when she met her men.

“Hi.” The sexy voice startled her.

She stilled. Two beautifully sculpted men stood in front of her, turning her mouth dry. While her career depended on her ability to speak to all types of people and assure them of their success, words totally failed her. She held her towel tightly around her chest and hoped it covered her pussy.

“I didn’t think you would be here so soon.” Like she knew?

The taller of the two smiled. “Sharon should have told you. Anyway, I’m Trace.” He held out a hand and she shook it. Oh my, but his grip was strong and his hands callused, like he worked on a ranch or something.

Her thoughts flew back to her high school days. One of her fantasy boys was named Trace, and that wonderful memory made her heart speed up. The shorter, beefier of the two stepped forward and stuck out his hand. “I’m Jack.”

She studied their faces to convince herself she was wrong. Jack still had the bump in his nose from when he’d broken it in during the final football game of the season, and Trace’s forehead scar from when he’d gotten in a fight over some girl was just as prominent. Shit, shit, shit. What were the odds? Zero, but they were in front of her, real as life.

This couldn’t be happening. It just couldn’t be. Surely her high school crushes would recognize her. She waited for them to cringe or something, but all they did was exchange glances, looking like they’d won the lottery. Apparently they didn’t remember her. That wasn’t a big surprise. Back in high school these two didn’t seem to know she existed, so why would they identify her now?

If she’d been in a Flagstaff Prep T-shirt, they might recall seeing her in the halls, but being wrapped in two towels made her unrecognizable, she guessed. For that she was thankful. Not to mention the fact she was about thirty pounds lighter, had had a nose job, now wore contacts, and went by her middle name instead of her first. She also hadn’t seen these two jocks who’d turned her world upside down in over fourteen years.

“I’m Diana.”

Please don’t remember me.

Double shit. Her fantasy had been to be “captured and ravished” by two men, but she never expected to find these two. How had she even thought she wanted to give away total control of her life for five days? Was she a complete idiot?

Don’t answer that.

She had a PhD in psychology and was supposedly intelligent, but at the moment she acted like the nerd she was in high school. Could this get any worse?

Trace moved closer. “I’m so glad you came dressed for the occasion.” His cheeks dimpled, and she swore there was a glint in those pretty robin’s-egg-blue eyes of his, almost as if she were their prey. “Jack and I are going to fulfill your every fantasy.” He moved another two inches and her insides nearly exploded.

They’d already filled her dreams every night for four years during school. They were the superstar football players, and she was the school’s valedictorian. The two just didn’t go together.

“I hope so.”

Run.

Now.

Get out while you can.

But did she? No. She stared at two hunks who were more sexy now than they were back then. Their shoulders were broader, and she bet their abs were more defined, too. From their swagger and stance, they appeared a lot more confident, which would make it harder to resist their charms.

Trace moved back and opened a bag she hadn’t seen before. He pulled out a soft-looking velvet rope. Her heart raced and her muscles froze. Yes, she’d signed up for bondage, but there was no way she’d let
these
two men see her naked. That just wasn’t going to happen.

“Would it be okay, boys, if we did this another time?” Shit, her voice wobbled as if she was some kind of wuss. Maybe she could ask Sharon to exchange these two for another set.

“Sugar, we promise you’re going to love this. Every woman who comes here is a little shy at first.” He nodded toward his partner in crime. “Jack, why don’t you pour a glass of that red for us. It’ll help this sweet little lady here relax a bit.”

He had to be kidding. To them Laurel Diana Bowman was a dog and a loser, not some sweet little lady. What a bunch of liars.

Jack handed her a glass. “Here ya go, darlin’.”

And where did that “darlin’” stuff come from? They might have grown up in the West, but the cowboy vernacular had never been part of their vocabulary.

She should have walked out, but given she was wrapped in two towels, one for her body and one for her wet hair, she had no place to go. In two gulps, she finished off the sweet liquid. Trickles of warmth spread from her belly straight to her pussy, the last place she needed heat to pool.

“Now if you’ll excuse me, gentlemen, I need to change.” Good. She sounded more confident.
