I have so many people I need to thank for having faith in me that I could do this despite me being plagued with insecurities at times.

To the lady who first asked me to write this when it started out life as something I wrote for her, long before I decided to actually try and turn it into a book for publishing, I thank my friend who is like my sister, Andrea. I thank Lorraine for always having faith in my abilities as a writer, even when I doubted myself. I can’t forget Sharon too for her encouragement and for providing me with things to laugh about when I was taking it all too seriously.

I couldn't possibly forget a man who has always been there as my friend, the person I could confide in about anything and everything, a man who has always told me I was good enough but who I haven't even met in person yet, Chris otherwise known as Hawk as the DJ of his online radio station. Also Chris's wife Sue, their friend and business partner plus my friend Clare, her partner Pete and of course Sue, (Nightingale) who helped keep me motivated with a steady supply of photos of gorgeous men.

I'd also like to thank Anna, another writer friend Chrissy, Lynne and another group of ladies who have been very supportive too, Danielle and Savanna. Also the lady who actually came up with the title for Eric's POV that is to follow this book, Mary and Marina for coming up with the title for this book when I was stumped for a title.

I want to thank Lesley for her help as she's a published author and put up with my one hundred and one questions all the time. I also want to thank the ladies in the groups who have been supportive of my efforts as each chapter was written.

I send thanks to Altiyan who stood on stage on X Factor and said it was his last chance to live his dream. It was those words of his that made me decide that maybe it wasn't too late for me after all and I started to write when he won X Factor.

Then of course, I want to thank my partner Roger and our three children, Bianca, Jesse and Reilly who have had to suffer through hastily constructed meals, a less than tidy home, my vague behaviour and me seemingly always having my head buried in my laptop. I'm sure they have found me frustrating on more than one occasion and I've no doubt they got sick of talking to the top of my head.

An extra special big thank you to my daughter Bianca who designed the cover for this book since she knows how useless her Mother is when it comes to anything computer related.

I can't write this without thanking all my English teachers from back in my school days many moons ago who always told me I should consider a career in writing when I grew up. Well, it might have taken me awhile, but I finally did as you all suggested, thank you. All of these people have been there throughout the many many months I wrote and never let me give up. To you all, I say a heart felt THANK YOU.

About the Author.

From my teenage years, all I wanted to do was become a writer one day. Even now as an adult woman with a partner and three children who are not so little anymore, I've always lived with my head in the clouds, a dreamer, often amusing myself with my own imagination.

It might have taken me awhile to finally live my dream, but I did it, my first effort to try and join the many talented writers out there who have kept me entertained with their wonderful stories over the years.

I live in a sleepy country town in Tasmania, Australia with my partner and three children plus our 6 cats, dog, sheep and cattle.

I've had to overcome many emotional obstacles along the way to get to this point and attempting to self publish a book does tend to make a person feel like they've thrown themselves in at the deep end of the pool some what, but here's hoping some of you actually like Natasha and Eric's story and save me from drowning in the deep end of the pool as I probably forgot to mention, I can't swim.

Chapter 1.

‘Sometimes in life, you just have to give up with safe and sensible and throw caution to the wind, go with your gut instinct and do something that you might not normally do. . .’

So, with those words running through her mind Natasha Barrington was on her way to meet up with her boss Eric Rothman for a week together in a secluded, exclusive hotel, the penthouse suite of course. If Eric couldn't afford it given his millions, then no one could.

Natasha had worked as his PA for about a year and from the moment she’d met him, she’d been flawed by his good looks and sheer overwhelming sexuality. She’d fought to control her attraction to him given he had a never ending procession of beautiful women passing through his life, but Natasha had been unable to fight it. She had never felt such overwhelming attraction for a man before, the way she did with Eric. He had the power to leave her breathless and when he came close to her, her breathing would increase, her heart would start fluttering wildly and it would take all herself control not to go with the feelings raging through her, and simply reach out and touch him.

What she had never expected was for Eric to feel the same way. It seemed he’d been trying to squash his own attraction for her since he generally stuck by the rule of not mixing business with pleasure but he’d changed his mind. His prerogative as the boss he’d told her grinning in that disarming crooked way that always made Natasha’s heart flutter in her chest.

He’d made the arrangements, simply telling her where they were to meet and when. Their time away was to be a secret, a week that no one was else was ever to find out about.

As a precaution, to make sure no one else at the office knew what was going on, Eric was going to the hotel one night earlier than Natasha, and she would make her own way there, the following evening, after work. As far as everyone else was concerned, he was away on business and she was spending a week with her mother caring for her, due to sudden illness.

Natasha arrived at the hotel just on 5pm, she pulled up out the front of the hotel, stepped out of her BMW and the porter rushed in to take her bags from the boot of her car. He was joined by the valet, who took the keys to her car, and drove it off to park in the hotel's underground car park.

She followed the porter with her bags into the elegant foyer of the hotel. She could feel her heart rate starting to increase as nerves set in. This was it, she was meeting with Eric and there was no turning back now. She knew exactly what she was getting into by agreeing to meet him here. They were going to have sex, pure and simple, and she felt both growing excitement and a nervous flutter in her stomach since unknown to Eric, this was going to be her first time. She was going to be giving her virginity to him.

The porter took Natasha's bags to the hotel's huge marble topped desk. An elegantly attired woman smiled at her as she approached. The porter, whose name was Joseph, from what Natasha had seen on his name tag, told the woman that this was the guest who would be staying with Mr Eric Rothman. Natasha was given an electronic card which would open the door to the penthouse suit and the porter headed for the bank of elevators that would take her to the penthouse. She already knew Eric would not be there waiting for her, as the plan was to meet in the hotel's restaurant at 5.30pm.

She followed the porter into the elevator, and watched the doors close almost silently. As they rose up the hotel, floor after floor flashing past, Natasha felt the tension rising in her that little bit more with each level. The elevator came to a gentle stop, the doors sliding open, revealing the opulent foyer that lead to the doorway of the penthouse suite.

Joseph opened the door, carrying her bags inside, walking through a spacious lounge area, past what she could see to be a very well appointed kitchen, down a short hallway to the master bedroom. When he swung the double doors open with a flourish, Natasha couldn't help the gasp that slipped from her lips. The room was huge. The walls were a rich gold colour, the drapes adorning the floor to ceiling windows were a deeper gold, the carpet was a thick luxurious cream colour. The furniture in the room looked expensive and complimented the rich decor of the room. Two doorways led off the bedroom, one into a large walk in robe and the other to the ensuite, and then there was the bed. It appeared to be a super king sized bed, all covered in satiny looking linen with intricately carved four posts that rose up to the equally as intricate frame work that made the canopy of the bed. It was covered around with a creamy coloured gauzy fabric, which was currently tied back at each post, but which could obviously be released and used to partially shield anyone in the bed. The room was beautiful and the bed frightening because as Natasha gazed at it, she couldn't shake the image from her head, of her and Eric in it, together, making love.
