“Brynn
, why don’t you go and sleep in Chad’s room, I’ll be fine,” I tell her with a smile. Ha she’s not sleeping with him in our room.

“See baby it’s all settled
, to my room, let’s go,” he says as he tries to pull her forward even though they end up stumbling sideways. Drunkenness will do that to you.

The rest of the week pretty much follows the same order. We hang out at the beach, at the hotel, go out to eat, and then head to a club to dance. Luckily
, we don’t run into the idiot from the first night we went out.

Before we know it
, we are heading back to campus because our fun spring break is officially coming to an end.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
“Ugh, I don’t want to go back to classes tomorrow,” Brynn complains as we unload our bags from the trip.
“You just had a week vacation, what more could you want?” I ask with a laugh.
“How about two weeks, hell how about a month at the beach,” she says looking hopeful.
“Well that’s not happening. Welc
ome back to reality best friend,” I say with a smile as I slap my best friend on the shoulder.
“You just had to ruin it didn’t you?” She says with a pout.
“Oh please, you’ll survive,” I say as I start unpacking.
“Fine, what do you want to do this evening?” She asks out of nowhere.
“Umm, probably hang out here. I have class early in the morning,” I tell her like she doesn’t already know this.
“Liv, come on, we can’t stay in all night. This is officially our last day of spring
break, let’s go out tonight,” she says looking hopeful at me.
“Seriously?”
“Hell yeah, I’m serious. Why wouldn’t I be?” She says looking slightly irritated that I would think otherwise.
“Fine.
Where do you want to go?” I ask giving in.
“We’ll keep it low key.
How about Frankie’s?” She asks with a gleam in her eye. It’s like she knows something I don’t.
“Sure, Frankie’s works.
Brynn what aren’t you telling me?” I ask nervously.
“What? Nothing
,” she states like it’s nothing. I can feel it though. My best friend is keeping something from me, but I let it go for now.
Later that evening we head out to Frankie’s. I don’t dress up because it’s cold out and it’s only Frankie’s a local little pub. It’s like that bar my parents use to watch on
TV when I was little…what was that called??? Oh yeah Cheers. It’s exactly like that. So I throw on my UNC hoodie and skinny jeans with my Uggs and I’m ready to go.
“Liv
, what the hell are you doing?” She looks at me like I’m nuts.
“What are you talking about?” I ask confused.
“Why do you have a sweatshirt on? Go change,” she says with a disgusted look.
“B
, you said we’re going to Frankie’s.& I’m not dressing up and it’s freaking cold outside,” I state matter of fact.
Brynn looks at
me and then shrugs defeated, “How are you going to find a boyfriend dressed like that?” She asks sadly.
“Seriously, what is wrong with a freaking hoodie and skinny jeans?
I think I look cute and comfy,” I state.
“I guess. You do look cute
, but you could look hot Liv. Don’t you want a boyfriend so we can double date?” She asks with a pout.
“Brynn…we hang
out together, hell we just spent the entire week together with your boyfriend. I don’t need a boyfriend right now. I’m actually having quite a bit of fun being single. Can you please layoff the boyfriend search?” I ask with pleading eyes.
“I won’t set you up or force you into anything, but I will sti
ll point out hot guys to you,” she states excitedly.
“Good, that works for me,
” I say with a smile.
“Okay let’s go,” s
he says as she throws on her coat over her super cute, but tight and low cut pink sweater with her skinny jeans, and high heeled boots.
We make the short walk over to Frankie’s pub and enter it, seeing it’s a little more crowded than normal.
“What’s going on tonight?” I ask surprised.
“I h
ave no idea, but let’s find out,” Brynn states walking towards the bar with me in tow.
“Hey Ladies, what can I get
ya?” Frankie asks.
“Hey Frankie,” we both say at the same time. “Vodka/Cranberry
for me and Miller Lite for Liv,” Brynn tells Frankie.
He comes back quickly with our drinks and we pay. Then we head in the directions of open seats at a tall table. Once seated, I take a good look around. There’s no band, no karaoke, no pool league, I can’t figure out what’s going on.
“Can you figure out why it’s so packed in here?” I ask Brynn.
“No, I have no idea what the hell’s going on
, but its freaking warm in here,” Brynn states taking her coat off and pulling her sweater away from her body.
“It’s warm in here b
ecause it’s so freaking crowded,” I state ready to throw my hair up in a messy bun just to get it off my neck.
“Hello Ladies, how you are
this fine evening?” A guy says as he approaches our table. I look at B wondering if she knows him, but her look tells me she doesn’t and wouldn’t mind getting to know him.
“Well hello yourself stranger!
My friend and I decided we wanted a drink before school starts back tomorrow,” Brynn states with an interested look. I can see the wheels turning in her head; she’s going to try to hook me up. I can freaking feel it.
“Oh you ladies go to UNC huh?” He says with a sexy smile.
“We sure do, how about you?” Brynn asks as I just sit back and watch this whole thing unfold.
“Yep, I sure do. Do you usually hang out at Frankie’s?” The cute stranger asks while looking straight at me. Brynn gives me the look that I better answer him or I’ll have to deal with her later.
“Sometimes, though I’ve never seen you here before,” I state looking at him curiously.
“Oh yeah, we usually go to Shooters
, but they are closed for some reason. That’s why it’s so busy in here,” he says with a smile.
“That makes sense. Damn we were won
dering why it was crazy in here,” Brynn jumps in and says.
“Do you ever go to Shooters? I don’t think I’ve ever seen you in there and I’m p
retty sure I would have noticed,” he says with an I know I’m hot look.
“No, we usually go to other bars. Hea
rd too many fights happen there,” I state matter of fact.
“It’s not nearly as bad as the rumors make it out t
o be. You should come sometime,” he says with a smile.
Before I can say anything, Brynn jumps in, “Absolutely now that we know you’re there. We will
definitely have to check it out,” she says with a big smile. Now people who don’t know Brynn would think she’s trying to flirt with the cute stranger, but she’s not, she’s just not giving me an option to turn it down. Damn her.
“I’m Levi and you are?” The stranger now known as Levi says.
“I’m Liv and this is Brynn,” I state before Brynn can say anything crazy.
Well, it’s very nice to meet you Liv and Brynn,” he says never looking away from me. I can feel myself blush and try to contain it.
“It’s nice to meet you to
o Levi. So why haven’t we seen you around campus?” Brynn says making conversation.
“I’m not sure, I’m around. I live off c
ampus so that may be part of it,” he states.
“Off campus, that’s cool. Are you a senior?” Brynn asks being nosey.
Levi chuckles as he takes a drink of his beer, “No, actually I’m a junior. How about you ladies, I’m guessing sophomores?” he asks.
“Nope, we’re both freshman,
” I state joining in on the conversation.
“Interesting…freshman usually aren’t twenty-one, but yet
here you both are, in a bar,” he says looking intrigued.
“So
, Levi are you in any fraternities?” Brynn states obviously trying to change the subject. By the look on Levi’s face he wants to ask more, but doesn’t.
I am. I’m in Pi Kappa Alpha,” he says with a sexy smirk.
“Really?
That’s odd we haven’t seen you at any parties,” Brynn states looking confused.
“Oh
, you’ve been to some of the parties? I guess I’m going to have to start showing up,” he says with a wicked hot smile.
“Yes, we are Alpha Delta Pi girls so we
tend to throw parties together,” Brynn states like Levi should already know this.
“Wow, I’m surprised right now
,” Levi says looking completely shocked.
“Why are you surprised?” I ask curiously.
“Oh no reason,” he says quickly. I just look at him because clearly I’m missing something here.
The more I look at Levi I feel a pull towards him and I’m guessing it’s because he’s gorgeous. He’s around 6’1” has dark br
own hair, almost black, and piercing blue eyes. He’s built based on how his arms look in the sweater he’s wearing. His jeans hug his legs snugly which means he probably has a great butt too, but I haven’t seen the back of him. I also feel like he’s probably trouble that I should stay away from.
“Well maybe we will see you around now that we know you’re part o
f the fraternity we hang out at,” Brynn says smiling.
“Do you hang out there often?” he asks curiously.
“Brynn’s dating Chad, so we tend to hang out with his crew,” I state.
“Mathews?” Levi asks looking confused.
“Yeah, you know him?” Brynn asks looking confused and slightly worried.
“Yes
, I know him. I didn’t realize you are the girl he’s constantly talking about,” Levi says with a sexy smile. Now Brynn has the biggest smile plastered on her face.
“Well that’s great to hear. So what does he say about me?” Brynn asks being nosey.
“If you want to know that, you need to ask you boyfriend,” Levi states with a wink.
“Oh come on, you can’t sa
y that and then give me nothing,” Brynn scoffs.
L
evi and I both start laughing. “Really Brynn? Like you don’t know what Chad says about you,” I say smugly.
“Please, it’s still ni
ce to hear it from other people,” she says beaming.
“Well now that I know who your boyfriend is, maybe the four of us can
hang out sometime,” Levi says piercing me with his bright blue eyes.
“Maybe,
” I say. Levi flashes his sexy smile at me and I know that I cannot hang out with him. Levi equals trouble.
“I will take that maybe. I’m positive that I will be seeing more of you Liv. It was nice to meet both of you ladies. I will
let you get back to your drinks,” he states over confidently.
“It was nice to meet you too,
” I state with a smile. Brynn just smiles at him.
“I will see you soon Liv,
” he states and then he’s walking back towards where his friends are playing pool.
“Damn girl, did you see how
blue his eyes were? Holy shit he’s hot,” Brynn says fanning herself.
I start laughing, “It was hard not to notice how hot he was. But I feel like he’s one of those guys. He knows he’s h
ot and uses it to his advantage,” I state coldly.
“Well no shit Liv, why wouldn’t he? H
e’s a freaking college guy who’s gorgeous. Of course he’s going to use his looks to get him what he wants. What guy doesn’t?” she states with a bitchy look.
“I get it, but I don’t know. Just please promise me B you won’t try to hook me up with him? I don’
t think he would be good for me,” I state quietly.
“I won’t hook you up with him, but I don’t think I have to, he couldn’t keep his eyes off of you. Which is crazy considering y
our dressed like a freaking bum,” she states crazily.
“Hey now,
” I snap back.
“A cute bum
, but nevertheless a bum honey. Look around Liv, the girls in here are dressed up and yet he came over to talk to you. That speaks volumes in itself,” she says with a smug look.
“Maybe, but whatever let’
s talk about something else. No point in talking about someone I may never see again,” I state matter of fact.
“Oh please, you will de
finitely be seeing more of Levi,” she says with a knowing look.
“Speaking of sexy guys, what ever happened to the guy we saw at the party months ago?” I ask curiously.
“What guy?” Brynn asks confused.
I start laughing, “Seriously Brynn, you were about to orgasm in front of everyone over him. I can’t describe him because all I saw was his backside
, but damn he had a sexy ass.” I say smiling.
