“Alright, alright, I’m sorry. Lil Bit you have to believe me,” Misty said.

The black assassin broke in the pitiful scene Misty was creating.

“Hey, family, it looks like the gang's all here,” she said.

“Fuck out of here we aren’t family,” I said to her.

Then she dropped a bomb on me.

“No you’re right, you aren’t family but Jelani and Juanito are. Isn’t that right? Or should I say Hazel and Infinity?” the black assassin said with her Jamaican accent sounding deeper than I remembered.

She took in my bewildered expression and started laughing. I looked from Hazel to Infinity and said, “guys, what is she talking about?”

Hazel hit Misty once again in the head then pushed her to the ground. She moved in position, up close and in the black assassin’s face then pointed her gun at her.

“Fuck bitch, you think my family history is going to stop us from murking your ass. It’s murder season up in this bitch,” Hazel said sounding mentally unstable.

“Really? And do you expect to get Dorah and Lil Bit’s momma back in one piece if I turn up dead or missing? That’s why I’m here. To take Lil Bit to meet the boss. Once everything is established all three will be released because I now have bigger fish to fry,” she informed us.

“Nah, she’s not going anywhere with you. If anybody goes, I’ll go. Dorah’s my baby and I’ll lay my life down on the line for her,” Infinity stated.

“Yea right you snitch. You are the reason your daughter and Lil Bit is caught in this mess,” the black assassin countered.

“Now you come with me if you want to see your baby girl alive,” she commanded.

“It’s okay, I’m going. Dorah’s actually my child so fucks everything else,” I told them.

Hazel stepped forward turning the gun on me, then pulled the safety lever back.

“I can’t let you do that,” she stated.

“Fuck is you doing sis?” Infinity yelled, “she’s on our side, remember?”

“She was on our side but I don’t know. Mami and Javier’s gone why the fuck should she get her family back before I get my revenge,” Hazel said adamantly.

“Fuck you mean?” Infinity cried out with tears on the brink of falling from his eyes, “Dorah is your niece. She’s still alive and being held hostage by the same motherfuckers who killed mami and you want to play this stupid game of who have the bigger cahones?”

“Fuck that!” Hazel reprimanded as I stood frozen in place to scared to move with the gun in my face.

“Let’s go Lil Bit. These siblings can war without you,” the black assassin said grabbing me by the arm leading me to the door.

“Nah, you are not listening. She’s not going with you right now,” Hazel put her finger firmly around the trigger looking like she was ready to pull it now more than ever.

Misty jumped up as Infinity went to reach for Hazel’s gun. A five-way tussle ensued; it was every man for themselves.

After a few moments a lone shot went off. A gun hit the floor, and when the smoke cleared Misty was laid out on the floor with a puddle of blood lying beneath her.

As Hazel bent down to check Misty’s pulse, Infinity motioned for me and the black assassin to get the hell out of dodge. I ran as fast as my little feet in heels could take me.

“Let’s take di stairs mon,” black assassin screamed at me.

“You don’t have to tell me twice,” came my reply.

We hit the stairway exit when we heard two more shots causing us to stop dead in our tracks. We heard Infinity scream, “Go, go, go don’t stop,” so we continued. We jumped into a blue SUV with the black assassin donned in her black attire and full width bun jumped behind the steering wheel and took off.

“Don’t worry gyal. I got you and we are going to get you to the head boss but we have to make a stop first,” she said.

“A stop? A stop? I need to get to my daughter fuck you mean a stop?” I screamed nearly taking her head off.

“Yea a stop. We are going to the jail house to see the one named Boogie.,” she said.

“I can’t believe this. Fuck we are going to see Boogie about,” I asked her.

“Well if we don’t then I can’t find out where the drugs are that he stole or the money he made if he sold it,” she said to me.

“All of this for fifty something thousand dollars? That seem like a drop in the bucket for you guys,” I told her.

“More like five hundred thousand dollars. If we don’t get it back we are going to take it out your ass one way or another,” she told me.

“But why me? Why my momma and daughter?” I whined.

“Why not you? Why not your momma and daughter? You aren’t special just like
The Overseers
weren’t special the moment your brother Boogie robbed us. Now what you have to say miss thang.”

“Nothing let’s get this over with. I know my brother and if he knew half of this was going to go down he wouldn’t have touched your shipment. In other words, I’m confident he’ll give you guys what you want so my family won’t be harmed in the interim,” I said to her.

“I don’t know about all that. The last time we suggested that he laughed at us. He said you were a cat who had nine lives so he’d doubt I’d be able to take you out anyway. As a result, I had to stop toying with you, get you and prove to him how wrong he could be. Now with that said, let’s hope you know your brother like you say, that he loves you and that he will give us everything he took from us,” the black assassin said to me.

“Yea, let’s hope,” was the last thing I said before we were rear ended by an another sports utility vehicle. This one looked black in the rearview mirror.

A figure walking toward us scared the fuck out of me, it was Creshawn. My heart dropped because I totally forgot about him.

The metal gleam from his gun caught my eye. I looked at the black assassin and said, “Oh no, not again you don’t.”

I managed to open the passenger’s side door and fly out into the street taking off.

I hear the black assassin scream out, “Fuck you do dat for mon? She was going with us willingly.”

I couldn’t hear Creshawn’s reply because I was taking flight. I was running so fast I didn’t even feel the ground beneath my feet. Not even with my black heels on, pink dress hitching up toward my hips and body full curls in my hair flying in my face.

Then it happened, I tripped and hit the deck as the bullets from Creshawn’s gun whizzed passed me. I did an army crawl praying all along not one single bullet would hit me.

As I thought I couldn’t crawl anymore, Infinity pulled up and flung open his passenger’s side door.

“Don’t worry, I’m getting us out this jam and getting our baby back. Now get the fuck in the car bae,” he said.

I didn’t have to think twice, I was on my feet and diving into the safety of his car.

As I straightened up and pulled down my dress, Infinity reached over me and shut the door. He turned around and proceeded to drive off. All we heard was, “You’re a stupid bitch,” then complete silence except for the purring of Infinity’s engine as we hit the Hutchinson parkway heading to Brooklyn in search of our Princess Dorah and my momma.

I had to hand it to the black assassin and Hazel, they were two real bitches ready to get it in. My hat was off to possibly the two bitches who could compare to yours truly. I reached into the back of the car, under the passenger’s, and pulled out the emergency duffle bag. I opened it up and saw fifty thousand dollars. This was part of our spoil from robbing Boogie after he robbed T
he Overseers
. I bypassed the cash though and pulled out an Uzi automatic changing the clip so that it was fully reloaded, “Daddy you ready to go get our baby back?”

“You never had to ask me that I’ve been ready since yesterday,” he responded.

“Alright, let’s get it,” I said giving him the cue to put the pedal to the medal and fuck the radar, speed traps and police. Baby Dorah was more important and so was our move to the South where we’d reign supreme.
