“Yes, yes we can. I will let you get ready.” Ace said, as he walked away beating himself up for everything he did. He knew he shouldn't have done that, now he would be lucky if she even stayed, hell he would be lucky if Angyl even talked to him again, or entered the same room as him.

Abigail rang the doorbell not really understanding why she had to bring her clothes to someone she didn’t know, couldn’t her brother just call one of his flings to bring clothes for another fling. She didn't want to meet one of his flings, she knew he had them, but until now it was something that never came up. She may be exactly 100 years younger than her brother, but that didn't mean she wanted to know about, or meet his flings. She remembered her parents constantly teasing Ace about how his sister wanted to be just like him even starting by being born on the same day as him. Their parents died when Ace was 150 years old she was only 100 years old, which in essence made Ace 15-20 years in human years which made her at that time 10-15 years in human years. They could never figure that out she did know that when their parents died Ace looked about 16 years old and she looked about 10 years old, which for them meant that Ace was an adult and she was only a child Ace raised her until she had become an adult herself. She was thankful to her brother because he never treated her as a burden he always cared for her with love and kindness, well unless she messed up.

“Hi sis.” Ace said as he opened the door.

“Hi Ace. So why did you call me for clothes, why not one of your latest flings.”

“Because this girl deserves better than that, for one, and for 2, she’s about your size, and 3, I know what you heard about me, but I don’t have flings.”

“I really don't believe that you don’t have flings, I have seen you out with women.”

“A guy could only wish, but sadly no she's not a fling, I don’t even think she likes me that way. Hell, the first day I met her she laid into me about how she had to work, unlike me, and that some people need their jobs.” Ace said.

“I like her already. Why is she here?” Abby asked.

“I got her to agree to stay here by paying her to work on the library and even then she was a hard bargainer. I’m paying her $16 an hour and if she loses her job I am to pay all her bills for 6 months, while she gets into a job again, so she doesn’t lose her place as she’s getting established in a new job.”

“As for the other women you have seen me with they have come to me for business advice or are just friends, I am sure they want more from me, but I never go any further.”

     “OK
,
so if the other girls are just friends, why do you keep going out with them?”

Ace said frustrated. “I don't keep going out with the women. But they do tend to show up out of nowhere sometimes.”

“Oh OK, I am glad to hear that you’re not with those floozies, they are stupid bimbo's.” Abby said, with a disgusted look on her face.

“Brother, this girl has you in ways that no other girl has, she's got you by the balls.”

Abby said while she laughed her ass off. “Please tell me you have at least gotten laid by her.”

“Not that it’s any of your business Abby, but no I haven’t.” Ace said through gritted teeth. He hated the fact that his sister was getting so much enjoyment out of all of this.

“Oh.. That..Just.. Makes.. It ..Better..You’re..Pussy..Whipped..Without..The..Pussy.” Abby said through her hysterical laughter. “She's got you good bro.”

“I know and I just met her. I don’t know why, but I know that I want her to be close. I already want to spend the rest of my life with her. I know that I think about her all the time as well.”

“Do you remember when our parents told us the story of soul mates, that from the first time you hear or see them that you’re connected? That, that person will be who you’re with for all of eternity. Well bro, I think that’s happened and I think you should announce that you have found your bride.”

“But sis, that’s just a story, it can't be what’s going on with us. I think it's just her strength that I have seen deep down, as well as her vulnerability. She just makes me want to protect her, as well as other stuff.”

“OK, do me a favour I want you to leave for just 2 hours while I get this girl dressed and I talk to her, if for the 2 hours you can't think of anyone or anything but her, and you don’t want to stay away, then I suggest you tell the council that you have found your mate. If I am wrong, then I suggest that you get laid by her and get her out of your system. Hell no matter what get laid, ‘cause if you don't, I think you’re going to drive me nuts.”

“I'll take that deal about the 2 hours, not the getting laid, anyways will you please let her know I had some business to get done and that in 2 hours I will be back. Then when I get back we will go get her things.”

     “OK, now go.”

Chapter 3

     Abby knocked on Angyl's door.

“What is it Ace?” Angyl said through the door. Still thinking that he was going to try and say sorry again. If she heard him apologize again she just might kiss him again. 1, for him being too sweet, 2, just to shut him up, and 3, just because she wanted to, hell she wanted to do more.

“It's not Ace. I’m his sister Abigail, he asked me to bring you some clothes.”

     “Oh,
OK
thank you.” Angyl said, as she opened her door. “Please come in.”

“Ace asked me to let you know that he would be gone for a couple hours getting some business done, but when he gets back he will take you to your home to get some of your clothes' from there.”

     “
OK.
” Angyl replied. “Why does he have to go with me? Last I checked I was a big girl and I could go alone. Just ‘cause he saved my life 4 days ago does not mean I need him with me everywhere I go.”

     “Here’s why, he’s a male and he's an asshole”

Angyl laughs. “OK I was bitching, I’m sorry it’s just he really irritates me.” Angyl said, as she realized he did more than irritate her. He made her heart race, her body light up like a flame, and her pussy got wet just thinking about him being close. She wanted him and wanted him badly.

“From what I’m seeing I think he likes you, and trust me, my brother doesn’t seem to like anyone he doesn’t know, so it’s a good thing. Plus if he didn’t like you he wouldn’t want to go with you.”

“So, what should I do?” Angyl said thankful that it seemed Abigail didn't know what she was thinking, considering everyone always told her she wore her feelings all over her face.

“Well, you could fuck him to get him outta your system, or try to be friends, your choice.”

“I have a kid, last thing on my mind is a lover, but I guess I could try being friends with him.” So much for Angyl thinking that Abigail didn’t know, considering she just mentioned sex.

“Alright, well then, let's get you dressed and looking nice.” Abigail said now realizing that it wasn't just her brother that had it bad, but it was also this Angyl chick. Unfortunately she didn't want to admit it. Abigail could tell how she was stand offish, that something bad had happened in her past, which just made her want to know what had happened to her, but the only way she would know was either A: Angyl told her or B: Angyl relaxed enough for her to get inside of her head. She decided that she was going to get Angyl to relax around her in the 2 hours they had.

     “All right”

David searched the house that he and Angyl used to live in and found out that someone new was living there. He decided to ask around and it seemed that all anyone knew was that she moved to get away from her abusive ex-husband. Which, he thought, was not how things went down if she would have just done what he said. He would have never punished her. That didn't make him abusive, just someone who had cared enough to teach his family the correct way.

As he heard the neighbor’s talk about him like he was such a bad guy, he was getting more and more pissed off, but in front of them he kept a friendly face, while he plotted how he was going to make her pay for what she did to him, and the lies she told her neighbor’s. Hell while he was at it maybe he would just take care of these neighbor’s for what they believed. He was about to give up on the neighbor’s when he saw one last neighbor get home and decided to ask him.

“Hi my name's Frank and I’m an old friend of Angyl's, I have been away for a while, but it seems she has moved. You wouldn’t by any chance know where she moved to, or a phone number I could call her on would you?”

“Well, I don’t know where she lives or a number. I do however know that after she put her abusive ex-husband in prison for attempted murder, that she changed jobs and moved her and her son to a different area of town, but I think I’ve seen her working over at Max’s Used And New Books store over off of Main Street. I think she works Mon-Fri.”

“Thank you so much, now I can surprise her at work, maybe even buy a book from her.” David replied with a friendly grin on his face, even as he was plotting his reunion with his ex-wife.

“No problem. Take care now.” The neighbor said while waving by to David.

David got in his stolen car and decided to drive over there, just to see if he could catch her at work. He had already decided that even if she was there he was going to wait and watch her so he could see her pattern. He wasn't going to do anything to her yet, he wanted to wait until he got a place set up for him and her to have some alone time. He had also decided that he was going to go back to their old neighborhood later and punish every single neighbor who thought that he was the bad guy. He couldn't believe that the stupid bitch of an ex-wife had lied to everyone.

     “OK
,
so this has surprisingly been fun. I can't believe Ace has a cool sister like you, I mean he seems so passionate one minute, then the next he's so frustrating, and then the next minute he can be so sweet.”

“Ya well he's an asshole. He has to have a lot of those personality traits with everyone; some people need his asshole side. Some people need his kind and caring side. Although he is generally an asshole. The only thing he does different with you is that he shows you his heart, his passion. He was put into the position to where he had to be an asshole and my brother does it well even when he doesn't want to.” Abby said laughing.

“What do you mean he is in a position where he has to be an asshole?”

“Well, he has to look over a bunch of people and has to make decisions for them. I think his job is harder than it looks.”

“So, why does he do it then?”

“Because it's expected of him and far more harm could come if he didn't”

“That just sucks. I think he should be able to do what he wants to do, not have everything so dependent on him, where it leaves him without a choice in the matter. That is not right” Angyl said indignantly.

Abby laughed and says, “I wish it could work that way for us.”

“Well, you guys are so strange. It could work that way for you all” Angyl snapped out.

“Let's finish up before my brother gets back.” Abby said as she got Angyl off the topic of their family.

Then she realized that Angyl was relaxed enough to get into her head. So she did and what she saw horrified her. She saw Angyl being beaten to near death several times. The way he tortured her with cigarette burns on the inside of her legs and under her breasts, He would cut her then burn it closed. The most horrifying thing was whenever she would protect their son against him, she would be punished with them all at once instead of separately. He got the closest to killing her when she had tried to run. He had seen her with bags packed, and their son ready to go. He had decided to come home early, if it hadn't been for a neighbor finally calling the cops, she would have been dead.
