The touch of her lips was erotic, delicate yet deadly. He held her close and deepened the kiss, raking his tongue next to hers. The taste of her spiraled his arousal higher. Cami kissed, her deep feeling conveyed in the pressure she gave back.

Bradan ran his hands through her long hair, wanting to touch her everywhere, to devour her. With purpose, he undressed her and looked at her naked body with admiration. Cami was luscious. Her firm white breasts with their rose-colored nipples begged for his touch.

And he acquiesced, cupping them in his palms, turned on by how good they felt. Bradan moaned, and Cami’s breathing became ragged. She reached out to undo his pants so he could let them fall, exposing his bulging member barely held in by his briefs.

Her hand covered his hardness and he groaned. Slipping off his shirt, Bradan bared his chest. Cami’s gaze felt like rays of sun, and he basked in her admiration. She leaned in and kissed his nipples lightly. Then she flicked her tongue over them, making his cock harder.

Gripping the waistband of his shorts, she pulled them down, and when his erection sprang free, Cami kissed it. So softly. Barely brushing his skin. Bradan grabbed a fistful of her hair and pressed her against him.

She gripped the base of his cock and gave it a light squeeze. Bradan panted under the attention, and, encouraged, she stroked lightly with her fingertips. The soft touch along the bulging veins of his length drove him crazy.

Then she put her mouth over the hard knob and ran her tongue over the rim. Bradan didn’t know how much more he could take. He touched her cheeks with his fingers, wanting to give back the pleasure she gave him.

Cami moaned with pleasure as she lowered her head over him and sucked a little harder. Then she raked her teeth along his tender skin, just enough to let him feel it. God. It was too much. Bradan pulled her up into his arms.

Kissing her wildly, Bradan tasted his own saltiness on her tongue. He delved into her hot mouth, wanting her. Cami pressed against him, and her nipples grazed his skin. He lifted her off her feet, holding her in his embrace, still kissing hard.

Then he turned and sat her on the bed. He leaned over her, kissing and kissing. Cami leaned back on the bed. Holding her wrists, Bradan lifted her arms over her head and kissed her neck. His lips sought the crests of her small breasts.

Her nipples were red and swollen, making her seem more naked than before. Bradan bit and kissed them, loving the sound of her feminine panting. He wanted to torture her, make her feel so good that she couldn’t take it.

Bradan bent her knees so they folded back to her chest, opening her to full view. He saw that her pussy was swollen too. The lips were red, her desire never more evident. Holding her knees bent, he kissed her sex. Slowly, he pressed against her, kissing her vulva and then over her outer lips.

Cami’s arousal fueled his. He licked her reddened pussy, caressing it with the tip of his tongue, knowing the agony he caused.

She gasped. “It feels so good.”

His cock pulsed. Knowing that she was close—and that he was the cause—excited him. Holding her legs apart, he gazed at her sex and then up at her face. “You are beautiful.”

Cami’s eyes were glazed, her breathing coming in heavy gasps. Wanting nothing more than to pleasure her, Bradan sucked her nipples, turning them to tiny pebbles of pain. Her moan told him so.

Kissing along her ribs and then her inner thighs, Bradan drank in her sweet taste. Her skin was so soft, so irresistible. He nibbled across her sex then licked over her slit, tasting the cream seeping out.

He placed his palms on the backs of her thighs, holding her legs up, and he sucked her pussy gently. Cami whimpered and wiggled on the bed. Dipping his tongue into her wetness, Bradan stroked deeply.

Cami’s body stiffened as she breathed faster. With his mouth over her sex, Bradan sucked in a tantalizing rhythm, propelling her closer to release. Then he swirled the tip of his tongue around her rock-hard clit and flicked it.

He repeated the action over and over until Cami screamed out. Her legs were draped over his shoulders, and at her peak they went stiff as a board. Her abdomen turned to steel, and he felt her pulse against his lips.

She came hard, letting him see her pleasure and feel the pulse of her ecstasy against his lips. The smell of sex wafted to his nostrils like a drug, and he breathed deeply. Bradan held her, kissing her tender area until she fell limp.

He pulled her higher on the bed and slid next to her, holding her close. Cami’s breathing gradually slowed. He kissed her temple, then her cheek. And she turned and pressed her lips to his. The kiss was tender, reflecting the intensity of the moment she had just shared with him.

Cami ran her palm over the muscles of his chest and then over his flat abdomen. His cock ached and he wanted her touch it. She fisted his length in an easy, loving motion, and he swelled under her hand.

Leaning down, she ran her tongue along the bulging veins and then cupped his balls in her mouth. Bradan’s panting grew faster. He’d waited, but he could delay no longer. All he wanted was Cami, to be inside her.

After rolling her onto her back, Bradan straddled her. He kissed her roughly, and she raged against his mouth, wanting as much as he could give. He reached into the bedside table and found a condom. After rolling on the protection, he looked into her eyes.

Cami’s desire hadn’t abated after her orgasm. If anything, it was on fire. She spread her legs and pulled him to her. Bradan dipped inside her hot pussy and groaned. As he edged inside, she panted and clawed at his shoulders.

Slowly, he went deeper, stretching her. Cami wrapped around him like a warm glove, squeezing his swollen cock, and making him groan again. Buried in her, Bradan stopped for a moment for fear he’d lose control.

She felt too good, and his need was powerful. He stroked in a measured rhythm and Cami rocked her hips along with him. What started as a slow, intense motion became violent passion. Bradan fucked her harder and harder.

Cami matched his efforts, grinding around him, pressing up to take him fully. He couldn’t get enough, couldn’t fuck hard enough or deep enough. Wanting to get lost inside her, and merge into her if he could, Bradan pounded against her with ferocity.

Their panting was louder and faster; their lovemaking more desperate. All at once, he felt Cami’s strong inner muscles clench around him like a fist, and she cried out. Swept into the overpowering feeling, Bradan let go.

She came in his arms, crying out in a deep, agonizing moan. His cum streamed out and his cock pulsed repeatedly, giving him release at last. Being with her and giving everything to her was unlike anything he’d experienced before.

There was closeness he wasn’t used to, and Cami didn’t hide her feelings. Not just her sexual pleasure, but her need for him. And that was new. It was the biggest turn-on, but also something that he would need to get comfortable with.

Her passion for him cut through barriers of indifference that he’d forgotten existed. The carefree days of one woman after the other were gone. Bradan had no desire for that. Only desire for Cami existed. No matter how much he had her, his greediness wouldn’t abate.

He wanted more. And through the night, Cami showed that she needed him just as much. Bradan would not cast that aside. He’d never found it before. Hadn’t even known he was looking for it. But now that he had it, he swore to treasure it.

Chapter 17

His kisses had felt so sincere, and Cami hadn’t had the strength or inclination to resist him. So she hadn’t. And it had been an amazing night. There had been no commitment. That had not been discussed.

Though she felt close to Bradan in a new way, something held her back. He was hot and wanted to be with her, but hadn’t said anything about not dating others. It was probably too soon, anyway. Still protecting her fragile heart, Cami decided to enjoy their time together without baring her soul.

Her past was just that, at least for that brief time, and Cami wanted to be with Bradan in the present without worrying about the future. Their friendship blossomed, on more solid ground than it had been before, and she craved sex with him.

Bradan had a way of looking at her, and touching her, that was so sensual, so
just him
. Cami couldn’t get enough, and didn’t think she ever would. He was equally passionate toward her, which magnified the pleasure.

When he suggested they spend the weekend together, Cami readily agreed. There was only one catering job scheduled, and it was a small one so could be handled without her. The prospect of two days with Bradan was a lure that would have made her forgo work, anyway.

Dinner the night before had been nonexistent. And the cupboards at Bradan’s penthouse accommodations were bare.

Cami put her arms around him. “Don’t you ever go to the grocery store?”

He kissed her. “Why would I do that when there are restaurants on every block?”

“Um, ever heard of cooking?”

Bradan laughed. “On that note, let’s go get some breakfast. I’ve worked up quite an appetite.” The look in his eyes left no doubt as to why he was so hungry. He swatted her playfully on the butt and she squealed in response.

“Better watch it,” she said, “or you may not get to eat.”

He lifted her up in his arms, and Cami wrapped her legs around his waist. She kissed him, actually tempted to undress him. But when he put her down, she said, “Okay, let’s go. You don’t even have an espresso machine here, and I
need
my coffee.”

Belltown housed much of the residential area of downtown, and also had music venues, cafes, boutiques, and restaurants. It was a youthful neighborhood, kind of hip, and Cami was comfortable there. It was also labeled one of the most walkable neighborhoods. And that suited Cami just fine.

They chose a place aptly called Bedlam Coffee, which lived up to its name—starting with the outside, where the window frames were boldly painted red. The walls were ivory or bright red, the interior lit with Hollywood-type spotlights hung from the ceiling, and there was an assortment of vintage furnishings for seating.

Cami looked up at Bradan. “I like saying Bedlam in Belltown. It kinda flows off the tongue.”

He laughed. “Yep. Bedlam in Belltown. It sticks in your head.”

Posters were everywhere, an eclectic mix of memorabilia including cartoons, old films, and even Muppets. One area had a wooden window seat, a comfy sofa, and an old trunk serving as a table. The place had a museum feel, with a skeleton riding a bicycle up the wall, a mini Space Needle, and nine globes in suspended animation being dunked through a basketball hoop.

There was the tail end of a Godzilla movie showing on a flat screen, and a radio was turned up loud, playing good music. The menu offered cupcakes from Yellow Leaf Company, in keeping with the cupcake trend in Seattle. Cami found cupcake cafés on nearly every corner.

She leaned toward Bradan. “I’ve had the cupcakes before. It’s the frosting that is so good. It’s Italian buttercream. I asked when I went to the shop with Brittany because it’s so amazingly light and fluffy. It doesn’t even taste sweet.”

Bradan’s eyes sparkled. “So, it’s cupcakes for breakfast?”

Cami punched him. “No. I’m just saying.”

They studied the menu printed on a large chalkboard high above the counter. “I think I’ll have a lavender mocha. Sounds good,” Cami said.

“A double espresso for me,” Bradan said.

The barista just looked at them and waited.

“I’ll have the cinnamon toast,” Cami said.

“Make that two.” Bradan paid and they settled at a table next to the windows.

Cami spotted stacks of board games and grabbed one off the top. “I challenge you to a game of Chinese checkers.”

“You’ll lose, you know.”

“Says you. I used to be a champion when I was a kid.”

She set up the game and they’d only made a few moves when the coffee arrived. The lavender mocha, served in a porcelain cup, was brimming with foam and zigzags of mocha syrup. “Yum.” Cami took a sip. “This is delicious.”

Bradan sipped from his steaming cup. “This hits the spot.”

The toast arrived not long after. Cami had her knife and fork in hand. “I’m hungry. Look how thick this is. Pass me the Nutella.”

“You’re putting Nutella on cinnamon toast?”

“That’s why it’s on the table, silly.”

Bradan did as she asked, then slathered butter all over his toast. He dug in, and so did Cami. Between bites, they continued playing checkers. By the time their plates were cleaned and their drinks half empty, she’d beaten him in two games.

Bradan leaned back. “I think you cheated.”

“How can you cheat at Chinese checkers?”

He smirked. “It’s been done.”

She giggled. “Oh, right. Is that your idea of sportsmanship?”

“It’s just a board game.”

Cami began setting up for another game. “That’s the issue. You have an attitude problem.”

Bradan laughed. “Okay, double or nothing.”

“I didn’t know we were betting.” Cami eyed him critically. “What do I get if I win?”

“We’ll go anywhere you want today.” Bradan arranged the marbles in preparation for the playoff.

“And if
you
win?”

He laughed. “Same thing. We’ll go anywhere you want.”

“You are
so
losing this game.” Cami rubbed her hands together and leaned toward the board.

It didn’t take long for her to clean up. She was three for three. Leaning back, Cami took the last sip of her mocha.

Bradan looked at her, no longer interested in the game. “I was wondering something.”

She cocked an eyebrow.

“Have you ever been in love?”

That one nearly knocked her off the chair. “And why should I tell you?” she said sharply.

“Because I asked, for one. Plus, I told you about Amber, and how she broke my heart.” He said it casually, but Cami could see his eyes darken. He wasn’t as over it as he would like her to think.

“I was in love. Once.” Cami looked down at the board, not really seeing the colored pieces.
