“Probably much the same as you feel about me milking cows most days of the week, but the boss here is pretty flexible.” He grinned. “We’ll get Brett to milk on Wednesdays and make that our weekend. I was wondering...”

She recognized the scheming in his eyes. “What?”

“Do you think you could get a few wedding gigs in warm places during winter so we could turn them into mini-vacations? One thing I’ve learned from my parents is that escaping off the farm now and then is a very good idea.”

She laughed. “I hear Hawaii and Mexico are popular wedding destinations so I’ll add that to my five-year expansion plan for the business, shall I?”

He pressed his hand against her belly and his lips against her neck. “Talking expansion and five-year plans, how do you feel about a seventh generation of Andersons running around the farm?”

A wave of wonder washed through her. “It totally thrills me and terrifies me all at the same time.”

He nodded with a soft smile. “Me too, but totally worth the risk.”

She knew family was a big part of Luke’s life and she wanted to have everything out on the table between them. “The thing is, Luke, we both know my father, and I have no clue if we’ll ever be able to trust him.”

Empathy shone in his eyes. “My folks will be on the farm for half the year in their own house, and they’ll be falling over themselves to be grandparents.”

She thought about her wonderful brother who was sitting in a motel in Whitetail waiting for her. “I can provide a bachelor uncle with Jesse.”

“Perfect. We might just need a bachelor uncle because Uncle Wade may not be a bachelor by then.”

“Really?” She sat up straight. “That’s lovely for Wade. Who’s the guy and—”

Luke raised his brows. “Do you think we can we talk about Wade’s love life later and concentrate on our own for now?”

“What a good idea.” She wrapped her arms around his neck and kissed him, reveling in his touch and taste and everything that was quintessentially Luke. “I’ve missed you so much.”

“Welcome back.” He kissed her, infusing her with his love and support and she opened herself up to it all, knowing without a doubt she was finally home.

US Bride

Who photographs the bride when the bride is a wedding photographer?
Everyone!
When Erin Davis married her dairyman
,
Luke Anderson
,
the couple exchanged vows in the middle of a shimmering golden canola field and all the guests took photos with cameras provided by the bride.

Everyone had so much fun and although we did have one professional photographer on hand for the signature shots
,
my favorite photo of the day was taken by my brother
,
Jesse
,”
Erin said.

He’s got an amazing eye.

The wedding was a family affair.
The bride wore a straight white sheath overlaid with antique lace and her bouquet was filled with peonies and fragrant old-world roses.
Her brother gave her away and she wore her mother’s pearl necklace.
The farmhouse garden was the perfect setting for the reception and long trestle tables curved through the trees.
Pretty field flowers displayed in jam jars along with tea candles were dotted along the center of the tables
,
adding to the rustic feel of the wedding.
The table settings said
love,
being a mish-mash of fine china from the groom’s family with some pieces dating back over a hundred years.

The groom’s brother catered the event and Lakeview Farm ice cream and cherry pie were served for dessert.
When Luke Anderson was asked why the couple’s pets were not part of the ceremony
,
he replied drily
, “
They’re dogs.

He was later seen holding the Maltese–Shih Tzu terrier cross under one of his suited arms.

Nicole Lindquist

Whitetail’s soon-to-be-married wedding planner and the couple’s maid of honor

The farm is a magical place for a wedding and may be available for other weddings pending a successful interview with the Andersons.

The couple is honeymooning in warm and sunny Fiji.

Boomerang Bride

She’d left Australia to be with Barry—the man who had swept her off her virtual feet. Now, wearing a wedding dress, she’s alone on Main Street in small-town
Wisconsin, and things aren’t working out exactly
as planned...

In town for his annual family visit, Marc Olsen had never seen a bride quite like Matilda—staring into
a storefront window, holding a tottering wedding cake and looking desperately in need of a groom. He doesn’t have many warm feelings for his hometown, but
meeting Matilda just as she discovers she’s been scammed by her online “fiancé” stirs something in him.

Matilda is not the kind of woman Marc imagined
himself with, and Marc is anything but the romantic hero that Matilda has always dreamed of. But as
unlikely circumstances throw them together, can they let go of their misconceptions and risk their hearts
for love?

Saved by the Bride

As acting mayor, Annika will do anything to revive the economy of the town that’s been her refuge ever since her art career imploded and her fiancé walked out. Even if it means crashing an engagement party to talk
business with the bride’s billionaire father. But the
evening starts with a kiss from a gorgeous stranger—and ends with a night in jail.

Finn Callahan can’t believe his sister is getting married, not after their parents’ disastrous track record. And he’d rather be anywhere than working from his family’s
vacation home. Until he catches a leggy blonde
sneaking in the window, and suddenly telecommuting for the season is very appealing.

Unable to resist their mutual attraction, Annika and Finn are soon mixing business and pleasure—just for the summer. Too bad Annika’s heart missed the memo about not falling in love...
