CHAPTER Twenty

Kidd

I slide into my normal table at The Kitty Kat and motion for a waitress to bring me and the boys a round of drinks.  As soon as my beer’s in front of me, I turn to Reese.  “Any news?”

He shakes his head.  “Nah, man.  It’s like the motherfucker disappeared overnight.  Not one brother or any of the girls has seen him.  Timmons is a ghost, man.”

Timber leans into the table, placing his palms on top of it.  “I got an idea. Don’t know if it’ll work, but it’s worth a try.”

I lift my chin.  “Tell me.”

“I think we should consider sending Preach to Mateland.” Timber motions towards Preach. “You all know that he’s got a talent for getting information. He’s got a way of getting a guy to talk, and you never even realize you’re telling him all your fuckin’ secrets until it’s too late. If they know where Timmons is, he’ll find out.”

Preach nods.  “I don’t know if it’ll work, but I’m willing do anything to keep Ice safe.”

I nod my head.  “Sounds like a plan to me, but I don’t want him going out on his own.”

“I’ll ride with him,” Reese offers.

“As much as I’d like to get your ass away from Jenna, I think it’d be better if you stayed here.  I’ll need all the help I can get if Timmons goes after my old lady.”

“I think you should send Maker with me,” Preach says.  “He’s a good brother, but he’s dumb as fuck.  You send him with me, it’ll help get their guard down.  There’s no way the Mateland crew will think I’m searching for information with Maker around.”

Chipper clears his throat.  “That’s a good plan.  The only hitch is that Kidd already called Brew.  They know we’re on the war path, but they don’t why.  It doesn’t matter though. They’ll be keeping shit tight until they find out.”

“If that’s true, why don’t you just ask Brew?  He hates Timmons.  If he knows anything, he’ll give it up,” Preach says.

Timber’s right: Preach is good at getting information.  He learned a lot of shit when we were in Mateland, including that Timmons and Brew didn’t see eye to eye.

Reese shakes his head.  “No he won’t.  He’s protecting Timmons, so that Timmons will keep protecting him. Brew doesn’t want his secret getting out.”

I cut my eyes towards Reese.  “You know about Brew and Ice?”

He nods.  “I’ve known since the day Chipper took her out of that shithole.”

“What in the hell are you two talking about?” Chipper asks, looking between Reese and me.

I hate to tell my brother this shit, but it’s all gonna come out anyway as soon as Brew’s sorry ass steps foot in Big Clifty.   It’s gonna kill him that Jenna didn’t trust him more. I hope he can understand that she was too scared to tell anyone. “Brew is Jenna’s father.”

His body goes rigid.  “No, he’s fucking not.  Her father’s name is David.”

“Her father’s name is Peter David Brewster,” I say, watching for his reaction.

He looks at me for a while, as if he’s searching for truth in my words, and then slams his fist onto the table.  “She fuckin’ lied to me.  I took care of her ass for years, and she fuckin’ lied to me.”

He starts to get up, but Reese grabs his arm and pushes him back down.  “She was a scared kid.  All she knew about the club was what her dad and Timmons told her.  Timmons had her convinced that no one could take her away from him. She was afraid that you’d be forced to take her back to him.”

“Why the fuck would I do that?” Chipper asks, clenching his teeth together.

Reese looks towards me then back towards Chipper.  He reluctantly says, “He claimed her, made her his old lady.  Her dad and Timmons told Jenna that no one can take an old lady away.”

“What?” Chipper and I ask at the same time.

Reese shrugs.  “I’m not sure of everything that happened when she was there.  She refuses to talk about it, but I do know he claimed her.  I also knew she was Brew’s daughter the moment she told me her name was Jenna.  I wasn’t in Mateland long before I came here, but long enough to know that Timmons had claimed Brew’s daughter, Jenna. I was also told that she didn’t get a choice in the claiming.”

“Why didn’t you tell me?” Chipper shouts out.  At the same time, I ask.  “Why the hell didn’t you help her?”

Reese ignores Chipper and looks at me, fury flashing in his eyes.  “I never saw her. I didn’t know she was just a kid.  Didn’t have no fuckin’ idea what he was doing to her, or that she was being abused either.  Do you honestly think I would just stand around and let her be hurt?”

I take a deep breath, trying to bury my anger.  “No, I don’t.  I know you better than that. I shouldn’t have even asked that shit.”

Reese cuts his eyes to Chipper.  “As for you, I didn’t know you well enough at first.  By the time I did, you and your father had made me swear not to tell anyone about Timmons. If I remember correctly, your father threatened to cut my fuckin’ balls off if I did.  I figured if I had to keep one secret, it was best to keep them all.”

Chipper places his elbows on the table then buries his face in his hands.  “She never trusted me.  All this time and she never trusted me.”

“That’s not true,” Preach says. “She trusted you with everything but her father’s name.  If I’m understanding right, she even gave you part of that.”

Chipper shakes his head and again says, “She never trusted me.”

“She trusted you enough to run to you when she was in trouble,” I say, even though it hurts like hell to admit that she went to him instead of me.  “I was sitting a few feet from the door when she came in the clubhouse after finding out Timmons was in Big Clifty.  She ran right past me to get to you.  When she needed somebody the most, she went to you.  If that’s not trust, I don’t know what in the hell is.”

We all sit there quietly for a moment before Chipper nods.  “You’re right. Even if you’re not, it’s my fault.  I listened to Pop when I should have taken Timmons down.”

I can’t disagree, because I think he’s right.  I don’t give a fuck what the old man had said.  I would have taken Timmons’ ass out on sight.

Timber slaps Chipper on his back.  “Well, you’ll have your chance to take him out soon.”

Slowly, our conversation starts to fade as sounds of Kiss’s
Heaven on Fire
blares out around the club.  A moment later, one of the girls walks onto the stage and starts to dance.  I take a drink of my beer and sit back to enjoy the show.  I might not want to fuck any of these girls anymore, but that doesn’t mean I can’t enjoy their fine ass bodies.

The girl on stage is just getting to the good part when I feel a hand on my shoulder.  I look up and see Krista standing off to my side.  “Hey, Kidd.  How about a private dance?” She asks, her voice coming out in a purr.

I shake my head.  “Sorry, babe.  Not tonight.”

Not only is Jenna my woman, but I’m not interested in anyone else’s ass rubbing against my cock, and this is Sarah’s sister.  The fact that she even thinks I may want her is fucked up.

She slides into my lap and wraps her arms around my neck.  “Come on, just one little dance.”

I grab her arms, trying to push her away without hurting her.  “I said no.”

Instead of getting up, the bitch wiggles around and somehow ends up straddling my lap.  “I promise you’ll like it.”

With those words, she grinds her pussy against my cock.  Want her or not, my dick knows a wet hole is close and starts to rise.  “Get the fuck up, Krista.”

She continues to grind into me.  “It doesn’t feel like that’s what you really want me to do.”

I’m a man. What man wouldn’t start to get hard when some bitch, ugly or not, is grinding all over it? The difference between some men and me is that I won’t cheat on my girl. I’m just about to push her away again when I hear a gasp.  I turn and see Daisy standing a few feet away
, holding our table’s next round.  I meet her eyes, and I know without a doubt she’s going to tell Jenna.  I stand up, tossing Krista to the floor, but it’s too late.  Daisy’s already making her way out the door. “Fuck!”

I look down to Krista and shout.  “I’ll give you until pay day, because you’re Sarah’s sister.  After that, I don’t want to see your ass in Big Clifty ever again.”

I turn and stomp out of The Kitty Kat, hoping I can find Jenna before Daisy does.

Jenna

I walk into the back door of The Kitty Kat, still fuming. When I started getting calls saying that Kidd was getting a lap dance from Krista, I blew my fucking top.  Kidd has ‘forbidden’ me to dance at the club, and I had every intention of doing what he said, but that all changed about an hour ago.  A second after I heard that she had her hands on him, I decided he could go fuck himself.  He could also stick his fucking rules right up his ass.

I rush to the dressing room and pull out my schoolmarm get up.  I slide into my diamond thong and place apple shaped pasties over my nipples.  After wiggling into my knee length pencil skirt, I put on my white cardigan.  Finally, I step into a pair of red peep toe five inch heels and head to the makeup table.

I put my hair into a bun, holding it in place with two pencils, and then do my eyes in dark greys and cover my lips in cherry red.  I grab a pair of the black framed glasses and pick up my ruler before heading to the side of the stage and making Skittles change the line-up.  The other girls are just going to have to wait.  I’m on next.

A few minutes later, the first cords of
Hot For Teacher
by Van Halen starts to fill the air and I strut onto the stage.  As soon as I walk out, I pull the pencils from my hair and swing my head around, causing my hair to fan out behind me.  I walk to the front of the stage and see a few of the boys.

“I know you’ve been a bad, bad boy, so I’m going to have to punish you,” I say as I bend over and tap Timber’s knuckles with the ruler.

“I’ve been punished by you before, baby.  I liked every minute of it,” he shouts over the music.

I smile towards him then turn to look at Reese.  I blow him a kiss then straighten up and walk back up the stage.  The cardigan goes, right before I slowly wiggle out of my skirt, and then grab onto the pole and start to spin.

Before I even get to the chorus of the song, strong arms grab me from behind.  I’m thrown over a shoulder and hand comes down hard on my ass. I know instantly its Kidd. “What the fuck!” I yell.

Shit.  How in the hell did he get here this fast?  Someone had to have called him. Then, I remember passing Krista in the hall.  Guess grinding on my man wasn’t enough for her, she had to rat me out too.  That bitch and I will be having it out as soon as I can get the hell away from Kidd.

I hear the men all laughing at our little scene, and that just pisses me off even more. Kidd walks us down the hall and into my office. He tosses me onto the couch and starts pacing. “What the fuck?!” he yells. “I thought I said no fuckin’ dancing.”

I snort. “Yeah, just like I said for you not to have that bitch in your lap.  Looks like neither one of us knows how to listen.  Besides, I make lots of money dancin’, more money than me just managing shit.  You know I haven’t been working at the club for a while. How do you think I pay for the online classes I take?”

His eyes narrow and I realize what I just said. Shit, no one knows I’m taking business courses. It was something I did on my own.  Something I didn’t want anyone to know about.  At least not until I was done.  I want to be able to run things professionally and maybe open a few more places. Plus, I want to do something that will make Chipper proud.  Something that I know would have made Mindy proud.

“You’re in school?” he asks, sounding surprised.

I nod, “Yeah.  I decided to take some business courses, because I eventually want to open up a few more clubs around here. There’s not much to do in Big Clifty except go to the dive bar out on highway 52 or come to The Kitty Kat. Whenever people want to do anything but drink beer or watch girls take their clothes off, they have to drive all the way over to Kansas City.”

I stop talking for a second to think about what else I’d like to add around here.  “More importantly, we need a decent hair salon.  Maybe even a little spa.  The strippers and club girls alone would keep one busy.  We all hate having to drive all the way to Harrisonville or the city just to get our hair done.”

I continue on about my dreams for the town, and by the time I’m done, I tell him about every plan I’ve ever made in the last two years.  I look up and he’s staring at me like he’s never seen me before.  I start to feel a little self-conscious.  “What? You don’t think I can do it?”

Instead of answering, he bends down and places his lips on mine.  His arms tighten around me, and I hear the faint whisper of his voice as he says, “Baby girl, I am so fuckin’ proud of you.”
