Chapter 4

The persistent buzzing of her alarm woke Debbie at
eight o’clock.  She flung back the covers, stomped over to her dresser and
snapped it off, snatched up her robe and put it on.  She never knew when her
mother might come bursting into her room – the word privacy meant nothing to
Theresa Simpson. Debbie, in her present foul mood, did not need another lecture
on the immorality of sleeping nude.  She sighed moodily and wished her parents weren’t
so maddeningly insistent on her attendance at Mass every single Sunday.  She
had been right in the middle of a very hot dream in which Colin was about to
fuck her when her stupid alarm went off and ruined everything.  She shifted
uncomfortably.  Her dream was so hot that her pussy was still dripping wet and
she felt as horny as hell!  Thank God!  There was a least one place her mother
couldn’t intrude.

Her bedroom door suddenly swung open and her mother
came into her room.  Hands on her hips and her lips folded tightly she
demanded, “Debbie, why are you sitting there?  Everybody else is just about
ready and you’re just getting out of bed now!”

“I don’t know what to wear,” Debbie replied dully just
for something to say.

“Land’s end! You have an entire closet filled with
nice clothes.”  Mrs. Simpson threw open the closet door with a bang.  “Most
girls would be on their knees, giving thanks for so much!”  She pulled out a
dress and tossed it on the bed.  “Wear that.  It’s modest and decent.  Now
hurry up!  We’re not going to be late for Mass because of your deliberate
poking.”

“You dried up old bitch!”  Debbie muttered, tossing a
pillow at the door and giving her absent mother the finger.  She went into the
bathroom – the only place in the entire house where she could have some
privacy.  She turned on the shower and stepped into it.  She began stroking her
clitoris, slowly and lightly at first then harder and faster as she felt
herself close to coming.  She bit into the washcloth to muffle her cry of pleasure.
Her body gave a convulsive shudder and she sank to her knees, panting and
flushed, but feeling a hundred percent better.  She showered quickly and
returned to her room.  She dried her hair then, with a grimace, picked up the
dress her mother had chosen.  It was a dull brown color and very plain but even
it couldn’t hide her enticing figure completely.

Why should I hide my body?  Debbie thought in a
rebellious mood.  She was very proud of her sexy body and didn’t see why there
was anything wrong with showing off its features.  She smiled as she dressed.
It was too bad she’d had to leave the jeans she’d worn to the dance last night
over at Din’s house.  She hadn’t missed the way all the boys had been lusting
after her or the way that old bat, Sister Thomas Mary had nearly choked when
she’d caught sight of her.  If her mother ever saw her in those jeans she’d be
grounded until she was ninety!  She was so glad the dance had been casual and
didn’t require a date because she hated going out with some immature boy and
spend the entire evening fighting off his clumsy attempts to fuck her!  She
enjoyed sex, but she wanted to do it with somebody who knew how to satisfy her
– not some adolescent with raging hormones, interested only in his own
gratification.  Debbie recalled her first sexual experience two years ago.
He’d been nineteen and a college man.  She’d only had sex with him so she could
find out what it was like.  It hadn’t been anything to brag about that first
time, but it had gotten consistently better the more she’d done it.  She found
out she had a real talent for pleasing a man and when you pleased them, they
pleased you.  She thought back to the first rock star she’d ever fucked.  She’d
been fifteen at the time, but he’d thought she was eighteen.  He hadn’t wanted
to fuck her at first.  A small demonstration of her talents convinced him it’d
be worth his while.  He’d certainly had no complaints afterwards!

Thinking about her sex life reminded Debbie that she
hadn’t yet taken her birth control pill.  She popped one out of the package and
went to get a glass of water from the bathroom.  Their family doctor had
prescribed them because of severe pain associated with her menstrual period.
Her mother, of course, had raised a major fuss, but fortunately the doctor had
overruled her objections.  Her mother had gotten back at her by refusing to pay
for them so Debbie had gotten a job and paid for her own pills.

“Debbie, we’re ready to leave,” Her mother called up
the stairs.

She went downstairs and walked into the living room
where her parents and her fourteen-year-old brother, Paul, were waiting.  She
saw her mother look her over then purse her lips and roll her eyes.

“What’s wrong now?”

“For heaven’s sake, tie that hair back!  It looks like
an occasion of sin flying about in such a wild manner and it’s most improper!”
She snatched up the rubber band that had been around the Sunday paper.  “Use
this.”

Debbie did as her mother directed while wondering if
there would ever be a time when her mother wouldn’t find something wrong with
her.

Father Michaels hummed as he got ready to leave.  He
was going to say the nine o’clock Mass at Our Lady of Grace Cathedral.   He
walked across the street to the Cathedral, surprised to find that he didn’t
feel the least bit tired despite having stayed up so late the previous night.
He wished he could have talked to Colin instead of leaving those messages on
his answering machine. He’d love to be a fly on the wall of that pervert’s
house when he listened to them!  He hoped Colin would worry continually and
look over his shoulder until the day of his death.  He deserved to suffer!

Mass went smoothly and his sermon about how it was the
duty of women to be a moral beacon for their families seemed well received.
As he stood at the entrance after Mass, greeting the parishioners he saw Mrs.
Simpson, family in tow, approaching.  Debbie, he noticed, lagged a considerable
distance behind the rest of her family.

“That was an excellent sermon, Father, and you
couldn’t be more correct!”  Theresa Simpson gushed.  “I don’t know whether or
not you’re aware of it, but I’m president of our local chapter of Families for
Moral
Values.  I’d like to discuss with you our idea about forming a
picketing committee to protest some of these demonic rock concerts we’ve been
getting in the area lately.”

“That is an excellent idea, Mrs. Simpson.  Parents
should take a strong stand against the wholesale corruption of their children.”

“We were thinking about starting with this group,
Unforgiven, who are coming to Minneapolis the end of next month.  Even their
name sounds corrupt!”

“That sounds like a very good plan.  My mother is a
leading member in her Minneapolis chapter of Purity in Programming and I’m sure
they would be most interested in participating in your picket.  I’ll give her
your number, if I may?”

“Please do, Father,” She replied.  “The stronger our
picket, the stronger the message we want to send will be.”

“I agree, Mrs. Simpson.”  As Debbie passed by him he
said, “I’ll see you in class tomorrow as usual, Debbie.”

“Yes, Father,” she mumbled.

When Debbie returned home she changed her clothes and
then phoned Diana.  She had to get out of her house.  On Sundays, her parents
were stodgier than the Pope on a nude beach!  The first thing she did after
arriving at Diana’s house was change into the jeans she’d worn the previous
evening then she put Unforgiven on the CD player.  She sighed as the first song
started.  “God!  Colin’s got such a sexy voice I get wet just listening to
him!”

“Lucky we have the weekend off so we can study for our
stupid religion final,” Diana joked.

Both the girls worked at the local mall. Diana worked
at a youth boutique and Debbie behind the ticket counter of the Cineplex.

“Just what I want to do!”  Debbie replied, looking
through the clothing she kept stored there.  They were the kind of clothes that
would give her mother a stroke if she saw her daughter wearing them.

“Have you decided what you’re going to wear to
Unforgiven to catch Colin’s eye?”  Diana asked as she painted her fingernails a
bright blue.  She was a cool beauty with raven hair and dark eyes and a body
lusted after as much as Debbie’s.

“I don’t know yet.  Nothing I’ve got really excites
me.  Maybe, I need a totally new look.”

“So, what did Father Chuckles have to say at Mass
today?”

Debbie made a face.  “You should have been there, Din,
you would have gagged!  I just about did!  He gave this dorky sermon about how
women have a duty to be the moral beacons for their families.”

Diana stuck her finger down her throat and made a loud
gagging sound.

Yeah!  That’s exactly what I felt like doing, but my
mother loved it!  I thought she was going to cum right there in church!”

“I can’t imagine your mother would cum over anything,”
Diana commented.  “Figures Michaels would give a sermon on his favorite subject
– that women are basically bad.”

“You haven’t heard the best part yet and this is
guaranteed to make you gag!  My mother and her stupid morality group are going
to picket Unforgiven and Father Dork is going to give his mother our telephone
number so her butt-nugget morality group can join the picket!”

Diana rewarded Debbie with another loud gagging
sound.  “He’s such a total dweeb!  Did I tell you that mom met his father?”

“You’re kidding!  How’d she meet him?”

“He works for Transamerica too.  She’s filled in as
his secretary a few times.  I guess they were talking about where they lived
and when mom mentioned she lived in Brunsville, he mentioned Father Chuckles
was his son. Mom said he was friendly and easy to work with and she thought he
was really good looking.”

“Why are we wasting our free time talking about Father
Dork?”  Debbie exclaimed.  “It’s bad enough we have to listen to him in
religion class all week!  Thank God, there’s only two weeks of school left!”

“Yeah, but he teaches twelfth grade religion too, so
we’ll probably get stuck with him next year.”

“Bite your tongue, Din!  Come on, let’s go to the mall
and see if we can find me something to wear to see Unforgiven.  I’ll tell you
about the totally hot dream I was having when my stupid alarm went off.”

Somebody was shaking his shoulder insistently and
calling his name.  “Colin?”

Colin mumbled something and attempted to escape from
the persistent hand on his shoulder by pulling the covers over his head.

“Colin, you have to get up right now!”

He reluctantly opened his eyes and lifted his head,
pushing his hair out of his face.  He saw Alethea, fully dressed, standing
beside the bed.  He yawned widely and rubbed his eyes.  “What time is it?”

“It’s seven o’clock.  I couldn’t let you sleep any
longer even though you were restless after you fell asleep last night.  I have
an eight o’clock shuttle to catch, but I can’t leave without making sure you‘re
up.”

Colin pushed back the covers and sat up.  He felt like
a herd of buffalo had run over him.  He hadn’t slept well and had been bothered
by dreams of somebody he couldn’t see, following him.  He supposed it was the
unfortunate result of those threatening messages.  He got up, stretched and
went into the bathroom.  He quickly shaved and showered then came back into his
bedroom, sat down on the bed and started to dry his hair.  As he dried it he
tried to come up with a solution to the mystery of how this person had gotten
his cell number.  He supposed there was a possibility that a fan could have
gotten it; some fans were very resourceful and maybe this person had tricked
the fan into giving it to him.  He supposed he should contact his cell provider
about getting a new number.  A sudden giggle behind him pulled him away from his
gloomy thoughts.

“You look like Cousin It when you dry your hair like
that,” Alethea giggled.

“I think I’m a bit taller,” Colin joked.  He tossed
back his hair, felt it and satisfied it was dry enough, tossed his hair dryer
into his open suitcase.  He pulled on a pair of light blue jeans over his slim
hips then grabbed a blue chambray shirt.  Alethea had embroidered colorful
flowers on the back and on the cuffs.  He sat down on the bed beside her and
put on his hiking shoes.

“I gathered up all our clothes that were scattered
around downstairs,” Alethea said.  “I didn’t want your parents to be shocked.”

“Truthfully, I doubt if they would be,” Colin replied
and grinned at her.

They went downstairs.  Alethea’s overnight bag,
portable computer and her purse were already down in the foyer.

“I don’t suppose you want any breakfast, but I did
make fresh coffee,” she said.

Colin poured himself a cup and took a sip.  “Do you
have time for a cup?”

She shook her head.  “I’ve already called a cab and it
should be here any time now.  I’d better keep my eye out for it.”

Colin accompanied her outside. He started his Jeep and
pulled it into the garage next to his Harley-Davidson
®
motorcycle.  In
his free time, when he had it, he liked to ride it around the hills of Marin County.
Alethea often rode with him.  He slid the door down and locked it then returned
to the porch where she was waiting.  “You know, I’m really going to miss you.”
