Chapter Four

It was
a most difficult thing to believe, that a person could inhibit the body of
another. Such things only happened in ghost tales. Somehow, he must believe it
because it seemed evident that the face he was looking at belonged to Lady
Ambrosia, his betrothed, but there was another soul inside it belonging to
Hilda.

“What
are thou?” He called out to her.

She’d
left him to deal with the fact that she had no intention of letting him go until
he vowed his affections for her. She moved into view and stood watching him

“I am
the greatest sorceress of my generation,” she boasted. “I, Hilda Le Doux, will
rule this province with my powers and thee, lord Bronte will be mine!”

“Never!”

“Very
well then,” she said, much too calmly. “Then I shalt curse thee with the curse
of the dragon. No one wilt be able to love thee but I,” she stated.

Suddenly,
a shadow appeared on the wall and the lights flickered ominously. The shadow
appeared to have wings and a long neck. Its reptilian head moved from side to
side, and its nostrils flared as fumes emitted from it.

Bronte
looked around, but could see nothing, only the shadow on the wall, while Hilda
stood over a boiling cauldron. She was chanting incoherent words while the
shadow moved closer to him. The dragon’s shadow moved until it hovered over him
as if awaiting some command to do damage. Bronte was astounded at what he saw.
How
can this be?
He asked himself.

She
left the pot and came closer with what appeared to be a black stone of some
sort. He could not make it out clearly, but she held it up while chanting
loudly, “Thou shalt roam the earth while trying to find, the cure to make this
spell unwind.”

With a
wave of her hand, the shadow moved swiftly and fell on Bronte. All he felt as
the thing swallowed him up was a brief moment of suffocation, and then, he
could breathe freely once more. He looked upon himself and he looked normal, so
he sighed in relief.

He
laughed because he thought her spell had failed, but she was smiling that evil
smile he’d come to know well. With another struggle to be free, the bonds fell
easily as if they had been loosened by some force.

As he
stood, the gleam of the lamps casted his shadow on the floor and jagged wall of
the cave. What he saw made him halt. He wasn’t sure if it was real, so he moved
back and forth several times, and it became unmistakable that the shadow was
following him or was the shadow he?

“What
have thou done to me?” He yelled at the witch.

“I
don’t take well to rejection my dear Lord Bronte,” she said. “The new moon
shalt find thee a new man, my sweet.”

“Release
me from this spell thou hast cast upon me witch!”

“That
can be arranged if thou wilt marry me,” she replied.

“Never!”
Bronte exclaimed, picking up his belongings and making his way out of the cave.

He
could hear her voice echo through the cave tunnels as he made his way out,
“This thy curse shalt not remain, when the rarest of flowers thou has
obtained!”

He was
tempted to return to inquire what she meant, but thought better of it. After a
long winding path, he found the exit at the side of the mountains. Even as he
descended the hills, he could hear her voice echoing in his mind,
“This thy
curse shalt not remain, when the rarest of flowers thou has obtained.”

Chapter Five

They
greeted each guest as they arrived, standing together at the entrance of the
big, beautiful mansion. She was still in awe of the splendor of the place. When
she arrived that afternoon, he gave her a tour, and she was amazed at the murals
on the living room walls, the beautifully carved balustrades of the long
winding staircase, and the shiny marble floors.

The
mansion was more like a modern castle rather than a house. It felt ancient, yet
had a certain contemporary charm. When she stepped into the great hall, she
felt like she was stepping back in time. She pictured herself as a lady in
medieval dress, dancing to the music of that era. Silene had to pinch herself
to not go into another fantasy.

Beethoven
was playing in the background and waiters dressed in their black bow ties were
already gliding through the crowd. There were more than fifty people there
already and many more were expected. One hundred and twenty invitations were
sent, so they were expecting no less than a hundred guests, although he’d
catered for one hundred and fifty.

Bronte
never left her side until all the expected guests had arrived and they
personally greeted everyone. After they left the entrance, he insisted that she
stay by his side to learn as much as she could about the business. She had no
intention of doing otherwise because she didn’t want to have to deal with so
many people she didn’t know. Or, perhaps, she never wanted to leave his side
because he looked so delicious in a tux.

She’d
just been thinking about him when he leaned over and whispered, “Have I told
you how stunning you look tonight?”

Her
dress was dark green satin, with a low bust line and a split running up the
side of her thighs. She’d caught him looking at her in that manner that made
her heart skip a few beats. Was it desire in those eyes or plain old lust?
Whatever it was, it was making her knees weak. She felt her breath stop as well
as her heart. “You too,” she managed to get out.

Silene
felt guilty about her feelings for Bronte as she was certain her feelings for
him was inappropriate, given that he was her employer and they had only met a
month ago.

It was
as if her feelings presented themselves without any warning. One minute, she
was beginning to relax around him, and the next, her imagination had taken
over. It started with just a simple curiosity. Did he work out at the gym to
get that athletic look? Then, she began to wonder why he hadn’t come to office
as yet, on the days he was late. One curious thought led to another, and before
she was aware, she was wondering what he looked like without a shirt and how
his muscles would feel under her fingers.

She
barely managed to make it through the night, though there was a lot of
mingling, introductions, and even a dance or two. Bronte never danced with her
nor anyone else, but she’d managed to dance with three of his associates.

At
around 2 AM, the last guests said their goodbyes and left. She had wanted to
return home, but he insisted on her staying the rest of the night. “There are
many rooms here. I won’t let you return to the city at this hour.”

“I
don’t want to impose,” she told him, but he would not take no for an answer.

He led
her to one of the many bedrooms on the second floor and told her she should
make herself at home, after which she bade him a good night. When she closed
the door behind him, she felt lonely all of a sudden. They’d spent so many
hours together that she felt like a little piece of her went missing. She knew
he would be happy to keep her company, but she was scared to make her feelings
known. What if he thought she was too forward?

A few
minutes later Bronte returned with a t-shirt for her to sleep in and extra
towels. “Thank you.’

“If you
need anything, I’m across the hall,” he stood there as if uncertain what to do
next.

This
was it, Silene though. “Unzip me, please?” She said, quietly.

* * * *

She
turned her back to him, waiting for him to unzip her from that deep forest
green gown that hugged her hips and accentuated her curves. She was waiting for
him and he wanted to fulfill her wish, but if he unzipped her, he knew he would
not stop there, so he hesitated, not sure if she just needed help or something
more.

When
she bent her neck and swept her hair to the side, his feet moved automatically,
and he was behind her in seconds. He’d stepped too close behind her that they
touched ever so slightly. Slowly, his hands came up and ran up her bare arm.

“Silene,”
Bronte growled. “You’re driving me crazy!”

She
spun around to face him, “I’m sorry, I don’t know what came over me.”

But it
was too late. The magnetic field swirling around them was too strong for they
were already caught up in the force field.  He cupped her face gently, not
wanting to appear too urgent and dipped his head, closing the gap between their
lips. His lips moved over hers, his tongue tenderly stroking hers. Their bodies
closed the inch of a space between them and it was over, no more control, as
all senses were lost.

* * * *

Oh God!
I’ve seduced my boss. What am I doing? I have to do something. Apologize, yes,
I’ll do that.
“I’m sorry, I don’t know what came over me.”

She
didn’t know what to expect, but what he did ruined any chances of her keeping
her feelings in check. His lips and tongue were like electric conductors,
sending current through her, from lips to abdomen. She liked the feel of his
lips on her and the way his tongue entwined hers.

She
felt his hands slip around her back, grip the zipper, and slowly start to
release her from her dress. The garment fell softly to the ground and Bronte
stepped back.

“You
are magnificent,” he muttered before burying his face between her soft breasts.

He took
them both in his large hands and pressed them against his cheeks while he
inhaled her scent.

“Wait,”
her fingers were in his hair; however, this was wrong. How would she face her
boss at work on Monday? “We can’t do this. You’re my boss?”

Bronte
raised his head and cupped her face, “Is that how you see me, only as your
boss?”

“Yes…
no… I don’t’ know,” she was confused. “I’m scared of where this is going. What if…?”
Her question was cut short by his mouth covering hers, and again, she lost her
concentration.

Briefly,
he pulled away and said, “Let’s forget all that tonight.”

He then
swept her up and walked towards the bed where he laid her gently down. He was
peeling off his clothes in top speed while she watched as his majestic physique
was exposed to her once and for all. He was more beautiful than she’d imagined.

That
magnificent body was now hovering over her. She could not peel her eyes from
his male splendor pointing directly at her as if beckoning her to touch it.
Without a thought of her own, her hand reached out and stroked it, and then she
reached up and kissed the tip. It bounced, she swore it did, at the touch of
her lips.

She
wanted him and she wanted to waste no time on foreplay. She’d had enough
foreplay in her mind. Her center was wet and aching with the need for him. Her
only concern was if she could contain such an enormous thing. It didn’t matter,
her need was more than her concern, and so, Silene opened her thighs and
touched her index finger to her clit, and then, she plunged it in her hot
flesh. Her masturbating seemed to drive Bronte wild.

“Oh
God!” Bronte declared. “Woman, I need you now!”

She
opened up to him and he entered her awaiting chamber. He had to push and pull
back his large cock several times before she could fully take him in. His
movements were so precise that she felt like they were dancing. His shaft
caressing her walls sent fire through her, igniting her like a forest fire gone
wild.

Her
tension was so high that it didn’t take long for her to feel herself let go.
She stiffened and arched her back as her shattering orgasm broke free. That
wasn’t the end of her. Her body was still calling for his shaft to continue its
stroking of her pulsating pudenda.  Very soon, another one emerged, bigger than
the last, and this time, she screamed and gripped Bronte by the shoulders.

“Bronte
Petrakis!” She screamed his name and he sank into her, crushing their pelvises
together.

Bronte
felt her, every fiber of her body electrically charged, wanting him. When she
came the first time, she urged him to continue, and then, there was another
burst. He could hardly contain himself, but he felt that she wasn’t done yet,
so he gritted his teeth and willed his body to hold on just a little bit
longer.

Then,
he felt her tighten, gripping him like a vise. Her body arched, a deep moan
escaped her and her body convulsed, letting out a cry like a banshee. He felt
his own release shatter deep inside his groin. A roar escaped him when he
plunged into her cavern for the last time as he stiffened, letting his fluid
leave him and spill into her.

Her
eyes were closed, and he thanked god for that because he saw it, the shadow on
the wall. Before she could sense his unease, he flopped atop her and covered
her mouth with his in a deepening kiss. Thank God she kept her eyes closed
until his body returned to normal and the shadow disappeared.

However,
that was the least of his problems. He could feel that there was a pair of eyes
watching them. He knew not what it was, but he knew he had to be careful. They
were just outside the window, hovering, waiting, and perhaps, wanting as well.

She
fell asleep in his arms and he watched her in slumber for a while. She was
indeed beautiful. If only this curse was lifted, he could be free to love her
fully. Now, he had to keep his secret until he figured out what the witch Hilda
told him.

He’d
searched far and wide for the rarest of flowering plants but none helped. He’d
met with the best sorcerers, warlocks, and medicine men for the last three and
a half centuries and none could help him. There were many potions made, many
spells cast, but no one seemed to be able to undo the mighty Hilda’s handiwork.

He
recalled the first new moon after her spell. It was about two weeks later and
he had decided upon going home to face his father and explain. However, that
wasn’t to be. He’d found himself lost in a swampy place, void of any life, dark
and misty. His painful cries, as he transformed from the man he was supposed to
be into a creature he’d thought only existed in myths, echoed throughout the
wasteland.

For
three days, he remained like that. He ate nothing, craved nothing, but he was
still conscious of who he was, yet fully aware of being a reptile. After a few
years, he became aware that he was neither one nor the other, but both. If he
was both man and creature then there must be some way to suppress one. He began
psychologically fighting the dragon in him until he was able to suppress it at
will. The dragon was like a second personality, appearing in times of distress
and danger. It was a personality that he could summon and control whenever
needed. It took him half a century to be able to control it.

The
eyes were still there and just before dawn he slipped out of bed and went out
to the balcony. It was there, in all its glory, menacingly glaring its yellow
eyes at him. It seemed to be waiting for him and he recognized it immediately.

“We
meet again,” he declared. The creature lunged, but Bronte was prepared for it.
