Day 4—Morning:

“My spiritual sight is now wide-open, and all around me is incredible beauty. Everywhere I look, I see evidence of love. I see loving actions, the exquisiteness of nature, and the attractiveness of everyone and everything. As I see only love, then only love can come into my awareness. I now see love in the embodiment of angels.”

Day 4—Evening:

“I ask for Archangel Michael to enter my dreams tonight and clear away any fears that could be keeping me from having full faith. I now allow God’s Divine love to expand throughout my being, filling me with eternal confidence and eradicating any illusions of fear. I am safe, and I am loved.”

Day 5—Morning:

“Today I see the glowing lights of angels that constantly surround every person. I see glowing shades of white, gold, green, blue, and purple around everyone’s head and shoulders. I easily connect with this angel energy, and I receive Divine messages throughout the day. These messages always speak of Divine love and selfless service, and help me stay centered in an awareness of my gratitude for heaven upon Earth.”

Day 5—Evening:

“I allow goodness to come to me without forcing or chasing anything. I know that forcing anything to happen comes from an underlying thought of fear. I know that fear blocks the very experiences I desire. I completely surrender my desire to have an angel vision. I trust God and heaven to bring my heart’s desire to me. My only task is to open the door, by surrendering all forms of fear. The rest will happen naturally.”

Day 6—Morning:

“Today I intend to have a happy day. I ask God and my angels to guide me so that I may feel happiness throughout the day. I ask to bring blessings to everyone who sees, meets, or thinks of me today. I ask to be an earth angel today.”

Day 6—Evening:

“Dear Angel
[or name of the being whom you would like to see],
I deeply desire to see you. Please enter my dreams, or manifest into a visible apparition so that I may see and experience you without delay. I ask that you allow me to see you. If I am blocking this experience in any way, please give me a strong and unmistakable message so that I may have clear spiritual sight.”

Day 7—Morning:

“As I tune in to my third eye, I am aware of sparkling white, blue, and purple light.
[Please take a moment to close your physical eyes and see these colors right in front of you.]
I now ask for Archangel Raphael to place his index finger on my third eye, and heal away any last remaining vestiges of fear that may be covering my spiritual vision. I trust that my veil has lifted and that I now can see clearly. I am ready to see now!”

Day 7—Evening:

“I am now aware of the presence of my guardian angels. As I breathe in and out, I relax and attune to the awareness of them. I allow myself to feel the depth of their love for me. I feel their warmth. I feel their unconditional love. I am one with my angels. I am one with love. I now give myself permission to visually connect with my angels.”

To some, the idea of chanting may seem unnatural or uncomfortable, yet it is an ancient technique for achieving spiritual visions. Far from being an occult practice, chanting stems from affirming the holy name of our Creator. When chanting the word
Aum,
you are actually singing a love song to God.
Aum
is actually the root of the word
Amen,
which closes most Christian prayers.

Here is a story of a woman who was able to have an angel vision, thanks to the help that chanting gave her.

On Christmas Day, 1999, I saw an angel floating above my bed. While I was reading Doreen’s book
Divine Guidance,
I said a prayer that I would actually like to see one of my angels. I had been following Doreen’s advice about chanting “Aaaahhhh, Uuuuhhhh, Mmmm” seven times every morning and every night for about a week.

In the middle of the night, I was woken up by the sight of a bright reddish-white light. The sight was strange, as if there was a planetarium above my bed. The brilliance of the light dimmed somewhat, and I saw a beautiful female angel lying on her side, looking down at me.

Of course I was startled, but soon after, I was filled with a feeling of warmth and love, and I simply wasn’t scared anymore. I remembered reading in Doreen’s book that angels are messengers, so I asked what her name was and what message she had for me.

Telepathically, she said that her name was Annabelle. She looked just like the angels in Renaissance paintings, and her message was simple. She wanted me to know that I was supremely loved, more than I could even imagine. She wanted me to know that I was watched every moment, and a legion of angels and guides awaited my requests. I asked her about a book I thought I was supposed to write. She confirmed that it was Divine guidance for me to write it, but that was not her role.

She was sent in answer to a prayer, and to express love—Divine love. I basked in the love and radiance for at least 30 minutes. I even went to the bathroom during that time, and she was still there when I came back out, just radiating love and light. Then she slowly faded out, back to just reddish white, then to nothingness. It was one of the most wonderful experiences of my life. I now continue to see, hear, and feel my angels all the time.

f you follow the seven-day plan from
Chapter 16
, continue repeating the process for as many days as it takes, and if you’re truly ready to see an angel, there’s no reason why you won’t have an angel vision. The methods outlined in the previous chapter are all powerful, time-honored steps that lead to visions. They work … if you commit to practicing them consistently.

As you’ve read in the stories in this book, different people have different ways of seeing their angels. Yet, whether their experience involved a dream, a waking state, seeing lights, or having a helpful encounter with a mysterious stranger, the authors of the stories you’ve read about have one thing in common: their angel vision was deeply meaningful and life changing.

You probably have a preference regarding the way you’d like to see your angels (and in this chapter, I’m using the word
angel
to collectively mean an angel with wings, a deceased loved one, or an ascended master), yet your angel vision will occur exactly in the manner that you’re most ready for. If you would be frightened by seeing a big beautiful angel in your living room, then your angel vision will occur as a dream or in the form of seeing lights.

In my workshops, I find that my audience members experience angel visions in many different ways, including seeing an angel …

• … with their physical eyes open.

• … in their mind’s eye, with their physical eyes shut.

• … as a partial picture in their mind’s eye.

Some of my audience members experience angel visions that look like wispy, smokelike images. Others see angels that are more opaque and solid looking. Some people see angels in their mind’s eye that look like they are stationed over other people. To others, the angels that they see in their mind’s eye seem to be located inside their own head.
