One might wonder how a woman that was a former Sunday school teacher and church secretary to the pastor of a Baptist church came to be CEO of a romance novel publishing company. Make no mistake about it; I am in no way ashamed of what I do now. Nor do I feel that I committing some hell raising sin as some might want others to believe. I just find it very hard to get away from what it is that I do. I am Dana Plaith, CEO and Founder of Charming Secrets Publishing Company.

Some have referred to what I do as a high paid "pimping" or "escort" service. I equate what the company does to that of what Chuck Woolery did on

. We just have a higher success rating.

Have I confused you yet? Are you trying to understand how it is possible to mistake a publishing company for a "gigolo" service? Most are. A friend of mine came to me with a fairly interesting idea for a dating service. I initially turned her down. This was about five years ago. I didn't have a clue how to pull of what she wanted. At twenty-five, I was still trying to figure out what I wanted to do with my life. So, I went to sleep that night intent on dismissing her crazy scheme. Instead, I spent the night working out the business plans for that idea of hers.

We pitched it to a few of our more "desperate to find a man" friends and some of the guys we knew would be willing. Most guys would be willing because of the potential for free uninhibited sex with possible multiple women.
