“Oh, Jeremy,” she said, as she continued along the wall, past the paddles, and riding crops and over to the apothecary chest.  She was so enamored with the items in the room, she barely noticed Jeremy, who was shadowing her with keen interest.

“What’s in here?” she asked, approaching the apothecary chest.  Her hand ran across the smooth wood.

Jeremy stepped forward and motioned with his open hand. “Go ahead, look for yourself,” he said.  Olivia locked eyes with him.  She felt a strong connection with him in that moment.  As her heart pounded in her chest she saw in his eyes a desire for the exact same thing she wanted.

Slowly she opened a drawer.  Her heart filled with anticipation as she pulled it open, her eyes wide.  She reached in and pulled out a black silk blindfold.  Holding the article, she smiled up at Jeremy.

“Nice,” she said.

“Try again,” he said, motioning back to the apothecary.   She kept her eyes locked on him for a moment before turning back to the chest of drawers, wondering what kind of mysteries and delights the piece held.  She extended her hand again, this time reaching for a smaller drawer on the top row.  She pulled it open and retrieved what looked like a clear plastic space-age looking ring with a scalloped shaped finger piece.  Curious, she picked it up and turned it over in her hand.  “What’s this?” she asked.

Jeremy took it out of her hand, along with the blindfold. “It provides,” he paused for a moment, searching for the right word, “simulation,” he said.  Warm tingles radiated out from between her legs at his enticing words.  Again their eyes caught and held.  It was a moment of truth.  Jeremy was silently challenging her and she was deliberating her next move. It was almost not fair, to bring her to a room that tantalized her so much and then expect her to walk away from it, from him.  She craved him and his toy room as much as an addict craved a fix.  “Jeremy,” she whispered.

Without answering her, Jeremy abruptly turned and in three quick strides crossed the room and opened the door to the wardrobe.  Olivia’s breath caught as he walked away, her heart racing.  Even before he spoke, she knew that he was doing. He stood in shadows as the light from the room beyond the door obscured his face. “The tour’s over, Olivia.  It’s time to go,” he said.  Olivia’s chest tightened at his words.  She wanted to see more, she wasn’t ready to leave.

“W-w-wait, please let me see more!” she stammered while her mind raced to find a reason to stay.  This couldn’t be the end of it.  Jeremy stood firmly in the doorway.  Reluctantly, Olivia crossed over to him.

“Jeremy, please?” she heard the desperation in her own voice.  How could he just cut her off like this?  She stepped closer to see Jeremy’s face.  His expression softened as he looked down at her, his handsome face melting her.  She realized standing there that in her eyes, he was the perfect man: strong, handsome, adventurous, and he wanted to give her everything she craved.  Her body nearly buzzed as she stepped closer to him. As she moved forward, she felt his arms rest on her shoulders and he lowered his head to her.

“Olivia, I brought you here to show you what you would be missing if you walked away.  I understand your reluctance because of our family situation, but I don’t have those same hang-ups,” he said.  As he spoke, he reached up and brushed a strand of hair away from her face.  Electric currents coursed through her as his fingertips brush along her cheek. He licked his lips, giving them a smooth glossy sheen, inviting her to kiss them.  She tried not to stare, or get distracted, and refocused her gaze onto his eyes which were boring into her. She so much wanted him to have her, to take her and possess her.  What was she afraid of?  Why was it so hard to allow her the pleasure he was offering?

“As far as I’m concerned, you’re the perfect woman.  Besides being incredibly sexy, you’re smart, funny, and we have a lot in common.  When I signed up with Royal Matchmakers, I was looking for someone to fuck- someone who could satisfy me in a way I hadn’t been before.  I wasn’t looking for a relationship.  With you, I could easily see having both, long term.  I want you in my bed, and in my life, and for me, that is a rare combination.”  He paused, raking his hand through his hair.
God, I love it when he does that.
“But if you’re serious, and you have decided you can’t be with me, I will let you go.

Jeremy stopped talking and searched Olivia’s face for a response.  Olivia stood frozen, as if immobilized. After a moment, she crossed silently in front of Jeremy and exited the room.  Her head hung low as she walked, feeling as if her entire world was falling away.  As she walked through Jeremy’s bedroom she realized she would soon cross the threshold of his doorway, marking her life without him.  A raw pit knitted in her gut, urging her to stop, warning her that she was giving up on something that could be as wonderful as it was frightening. Jeremy’s words rang in her ears like an echo as she walked.  She knew if she walked through that door those words would forever haunt her. She could feel the regret enveloping her like a thick fog.

As she tried to resign herself to her fate, something deep inside fought to break free.  She felt it well up from within, like a phoenix rising.  Her breathing became shallow and her heart raced as she fought a war within.  She had nearly reached the threshold of his room.  Internally, she tried to detonated her fears and whirled around to face Jeremy.

“What if we regret it?” she asked.

“Regret what?”

“This. Us,” her eyes scanned his face, looking for reassurance.  Her heart was thundering in her chest and in her ears.  She felt nearly dizzy as she contemplated staying. He stepped forward and put his hands on her arms.

“I learned a long time ago that I don’t regret the things I have done, I just regret the things I didn’t do when I had the chance.”  Suddenly his words clicked for her.  It was like the clouds parted and the sun finally came through.  She realized she was walking away from an opportunity of a lifetime: a man she could trust and express herself with, someone she admired and enjoyed, someone she found intensely attractive.  In that moment she imagined spending the rest of her life regretting that decision and decided it wasn’t worth it.  Whatever consequences came of their relationship paled in comparison to the benefits that may come from it.  She had what she needed to let go of her fear.  She felt stronger, certain in her actions.  With a new sense of sense of calm that had settled over her, she grabbed Jeremy and pulled him close to her.

“Jeremy Hamilton, I want you,
now
.” She looked at him with sultry eyes, grabbed his neck and pulled him in for a kiss.  As their lips met, she dissolved and let the floodgates of her desire spring open. His mouth opened and his tongue entered her mouth, exploring her.  She moaned has his hand circled around her waist and squeezed her in against him, her body alive with anticipation.  She gasped as he unexpectedly lifted her up and carried her back to his secret room.  She wrapped her legs around him as he walked, relishing the feel of his body move between her legs.

He kicked the door shut as they entered the room and pressed her up against a wall, his kisses growing urgent.  Olivia felt an aching need for him, begging to be fulfilled. Again she moaned, demanding more of his touch.  As if reading her mind, his hand slid along the side of her body, pushing her shirt up with it.  Butterflies exploded in her belly as more of her bare was exposed.  He pulled the shirt over her head and dropped it on the floor.  Desire pooled in his eyes and they grew dark as he tipped his head to her.

“Would you like to have your first BDSM session?” he asked.  His voice was low and throaty and filled with lust.  Olivia’s crotch throbbed as he spoke.
Oh god, I want him so much.
Her breathing became labored and her pulse accelerated.

“Yes,” she whispered.

“I can’t hear you,” he admonished. A thrill rushed through her at his warning.

“Yes,” she said louder.  This time she looked him in the eyes and spoke with confidence.  He held her gaze for a moment, making her feel slightly uncomfortable.

“Good.” A sense of relief swept through her at his praise.  She was so excited she could barely stand it, so alive with anticipation, so willing.  He stepped around side of her and bent his head low to her temple.  She could feel his warm breath against her ear.

“In this relationship, you understand that I will expect total submission from you. Don’t question me, and don’t argue.  For this entire session, your instructions are to stay still, and don’t make any sound.  Understood?”  Olivia nodded
stay still and don’t move, got it
. As he spoke he reached up and with a flick of his thumb released the front clasp of her bra.  Olivia’s heart hammered in her chest as he slid the straps down her arm and let it fall to the floor.  Freed from the comfort of clothing, her nipples hardened in the cool air.  She felt self-conscious, exposed, as Jeremy’s eyes traveled over her. He reached up and fondled a nipple. “Beautiful,” he whispered and then gave it a little pinch. The sting sent a jolt of electricity straight to her core.  Olivia strained against the urge to squirm or reach out, but she remembered his command to stay still. “If things get too intense, your safe word is stegosaurus,” he said.

“Stegosaurus?” she asked, surprised.  It was a ridiculous sounding word.  She was familiar with the concepts of safe words, but she always imagined they would sound sexy.

Jeremy laughed. “Your safe word should be unique enough to be easily remembered, and something you probably wouldn’t shout out in a moment of ecstasy. His hands slipped down to her waist and he unfastened the button.

“Stegosaurus,” she said again, as he unzipped her skirt trying to commit it to memory.  She knew assigning safe words followed basic BDSM protocol; she had read books and articles that mentioned it.  But still, being in a situation where she actually needed a safe word was turning her on more than she could have imagined.  As her skirt fell to the floor, Jeremy lifted her arm up, pressing it against the wall. She looked up as he wrapped a leather strap on her wrist, and clipped it to a hook sticking out of the wall.

“You should know though, that using your safe word comes with consequences.  You can use it, but only once, and then it will be over.” His words sent a chill through her.  The tone of his voice and the expression on his face had an air of finality. She understood the implication.  He meant then
they
would be over. She wondered if he meant it, or if it was an empty threat he used to discourage her from using the safe word frivolously.  The ominous expression that had flashed on his face made her think he was serious.  Her chest tightened and she felt a wave of anxiety flow through her.  She didn’t want things to end before they even started. Jeremy’s dark expression disappeared as suddenly as it had appeared.  He turned and motioned to her.

“Step out of your skirt,” he commanded. Obediently, she complied. He came forward and took it off the floor and tossed it, along with her shirt and bra onto a nearby chair.  Then he fastened her other arm to a strap on the wall.  She stood silently before him, wondering what would come next.

“Close your eyes,” he said.  She shut her eyes and heard the rustling of some kind of fabric, not the soft sound of cotton, more like the smooth silky feel of satin. She felt the heat from his body as he moved close to her.  Suddenly something silky was pressed against her eyes and she felt a tightening around her head.  A blindfold!  Cool air rushed in again as he stepped away from her.  She found that sensations were intensified now that her vision was obstructed:  the musky smell of his cologne, the feel of the fabric on her closed eyes, the pull of the straps on her arms and the cool air on her exposed body.  She was so aroused she felt like she might explode at the slightest touch.  She realized after a moment, he seemed to have disappeared. Anxiety grew in her and she wondered where he had gone, and even worried for a moment he had left her there, strapped to a wall wearing only a lace thong.  Her head jerked and she strained her neck, listening, trying to figure out where he had gone.

“Trust me,” he said. To her surprise, his voice came from beneath her. “Spread your legs,” he said.  Heat blazed through her at his erotic command. She felt like every nerve ending was standing at attention. Obediently, she widened her stance.  She felt his fingers wrap around her ankle and a leather strap tighten around it.  He then grabbed her other ankle. “Move your leg farther out.” He nudged her by the ankle until she was spread wide open and then fastened her ankle into place.  She was now strapped, spread eagle against the wall. She felt like the Vitruvian man.  Blindfolded, and completely immobilized, she waited with great anticipation and wondered what Jeremy would do next.  She heard nothing, he seemed to have disappeared again.  This time though, she remained still, and did not strain to listen for him.

“You trusted, good,” he said upon his return. “Since you’ve never actually participated in BDSM activities, I’ll go over the basic ground rules with you,” he said.  He ran his hands down along her abdomen and curled his finger around the lace strap of her thong. “When you are good, you will be rewarded,” he said, slipping his hand down into the garment.  Olivia shuddered as his fingers traveled between her legs and over her clit.  She was so aroused; she feared her panties were embarrassingly wet. His long finger circled over the soft skin until it was swollen and hard.  She bit down on her lip so as not to make a noise.  As he continued to tease her and rub between her legs, his other hand reached up and traced the line of her cheek.  “When you are bad-,” he began, his hand continuing along her face and over her lip.  Without thinking, Olivia opened her mouth and hungrily sucked his finger in.  He jerked it away and abruptly squeezed both sides of her face with his hand while at the same time pinching down on her clit with his thumb and forefinger. Olivia gasped, but didn’t utter a sound.  She had wanted to scream at first but then noticed how the sting of his pinch layered over her throbbing arousal.  The combination of pleasure and pain blurred into one and left her yearning as his fingers moved away.  Instantly she was panting, wanting.
