About the Author

Once upon a time while browsing a Baton Rouge bookstore, a young woman found a book entitled
You Can Write a Romance and Get It Published.
She thought to herself, “You know, I bet I could!” She bought the book and dabbled with dashing heroes and daring heroines while working at her real jobs. She moved from the Southeast to Albuquerque and stopped writing while she took care of her growing and shrinking and growing again family.

Years later, faced with an empty nest, this now much older woman tried to figure out what she wanted to be when she grew up. She kept coming back to writing, so she took up the metaphorical pen again…seriously this time. She didn’t dabble, didn’t wait for the muse to whisper in her ear. She simply sat in front of the computer every day and forced the muse to work for her. One year later, a very nice editor called and spoke these magical words: “We want to publish your book.”

And so began the happily-ever-after of award-winning author Samantha Ann King.
