"Oh, I have been very bad.” She said and then laughed when she tightened down on his cock a little and saw the flair of lust rose in his eyes. She knew exactly what she was doing.

Jaden pinched her nipples and growled at her, drawing her attention back to him. "No other men,” he barked.

"Yes, Alphas.” She said demurely and then squeezed their cocks again and felt their control snap.

They pounded in and out of her, holding on to her waist, so she did not go flying off the bed and onto the floor. She loved every minute of the domineering behavior. This was the only place that they were allowed to do this. In public, she would not be quieted or contained. When Cami felt like something was wrong, she said it, and if she wanted something done, it got done.

"Please,” she screamed in the air as she felt her orgasm building.

They continued their relentless assault on her until she was whimpering for her release.

Finally, Jaden reached in between them and ran a finger over her clit, giving her the added sensation she needed to fall over the edge.

"I love you,” she yelled and exploded around them. Quinn and Jaden moved quickly and came inside her while her pussy was still pulsing, and she grinned before she fell on top of Jaden relaxed and sated, for the moment.

Chapter 9

Shea opened one of her eyes and tried to focus on where she was. Her head pounded, and she screamed when she saw everything upside down. She moved, her head protested, so she shimmed and rolled until her head was once again on the bed instead of hanging over the edge at an odd angle. How long had she been sleeping like that, she wondered, as the blood rushed back out of her head. Then the pounding started, and she was tempted to see if someone had an axe to just cut it off.

Wait, where the hell was she? She looked around the pleasantly decorated room that had pale, yellow curtains and off-white walls. Nothing looked familiar. Had she checked into a hotel last night? Wow, she totally tied one on; she wondered who had slipped the fruit juice into her champagne. She remembered meeting the group of women, and then she groaned. Shit, they said something about her being a Chosen and belonging to their Pack now.

But why had she drunk so much, and why did her back hurt. She rolled and settled on her stomach and sighed. That felt better. Shea was certain when she woke up fully that she would find that she had fallen down or something.

She closed her eyes and tried to remember what had happened exactly the night before.

As the thoughts and scenes became clearer in her mind, she began to get horrified,
oh
my
, she had used her powers on some sexy wolves, and they had danced on the table for her and the women. Hang on; she remembered a man that she said was pretty. Shea focused on his face and then screeched loudly, grabbing her head as she sat up. Her mate, she had been trashed the first time she met her mate. Oh, he probably ran for the hills.

She looked down and frowned. Why the hell was she wearing doctor’s scrubs, and winced when she tried to untangle her hair from whatever was wrapped around her neck. She flipped the cool thin metal piece around and grimaced. It's what must have hurt her back; she had a stethoscope around her neck. What the hell had she done?

"Oh look, Sleeping Beauty has decided to rise and shine," a man's voice said from the doorway. She looked, and it was not the same man as she had met last night, but her eyes widened. The Fae could tell their mates by the energy surrounding them. They could only see their mate's energy, and this guy’s was shining like a beacon. So had the others though, what the heck could this mean? She wondered, and looked at the scruffily dressed handsome man who reminded her of a beach bum.

"Who are you?" she croaked out. Her voice was sore from something.

"You don't recognize me?" he teased and walked farther into the room. She scooted back and pulled the sheet up around her like a protection barrier. "I am Patient Honey Buns, and you're my doctor, remember? Lev will be here in a minute; he was Patient Sexy Ass, and you were supposed to give us a thorough exam. So here I am!"

Shea felt her eyes widen as she listened to the man speaking, had she really said all of that. She was mortified. And why couldn't she remember any of it? "Weelll, no, I really don't remember any of that, I’m sorry," she said primly. "And I would think you would not remind someone who was obviously under some sort of medicine induced reaction."

"Wow, you said that with a straight face and everything, sweet thing. I really am going to have to watch that lying skill you have going on," the man said. "By the way, my name is Griff Blask, and I'm your mate, as is my friend, Lev Adler. So, lying is really not working for me here."

Shea closed her eyes and then grabbed the edge of the sheet and pulled it over her head.

Could she be any more embarrassed? She thought, and then cringed when she heard him chuckling. Then she heard the other male voice enter the room.

"Why is our Doctor under the covers, I thought you said she was ready for our exams,"

he said humorously.

Shea groaned and buried herself in deeper.

Chapter 10

Jo smiled when she woke up, her head pounded, and she felt like shit, but she was in a good mood. She finally got one on her best friend. Cami had always been the leader of their group, the one with the crazy ideas. Jo got her friend good though. This morning she was sure that she’d be paying the price.

This was the first time in weeks; she had been able to smile without forcing it. Tey had become so worried about her that he never left her alone. Last night was the first time in a long time that she had been actually been able to have a good time.

Her father had sacrificed himself, just so he could redeem himself. She felt guilty that it had been her kidnapping as a child who had actually pushed him to let Braden become more powerful that he should have been. When Jo discovered what she was and who her father was, she had been happy. At least, the assholes that raised her were not actually blood related. For that, she was grateful.

"Hey baby," Tey whispered into her ear as he slid into bed next to her.

Jo smiled and then opened her eyes, "Hey."

"So you had fun?” Tey said into her neck.

She loved him. She had never actually thought she would find anyone who would fit her so well. When she first met him that day in the Bookstore, she had been smitten. She didn't think she really came to love him until he did her book reading for her when she had been hurt. He actually dressed up for the part and read her children's book to a group of children and their parents.

Since she had discovered that she was the White Wolf of the Council Pack, she had been trying to get her new powers under control. It was hard. When she received her powers, she had almost gone crazy. If it hadn’t been for Tey, she would never have been able to handle the flood of emotions that came her way.

As the White Wolf of the Pack, she could feel the members of the Packs’ feelings. She could tap in on any one wolf and feel what they were feeling emotionally, and yes sometimes, physically. It was a balance, only one her husband could provide. With his help over the last eleven months, they had worked out a way for Jo to block people’s feelings, unless she needed or wanted to. Tey was her balance.

"Have you heard Cami scream yet?" She laughed.

"Uh, no she’s at the Pack house with her mates. Why?” Tey asked.

Jo kept forgetting that they didn’t live in the same house anymore. She had become accustom to having all the Chosen and Council in the same building. Although it had been hard, they had made it work, and she was missing the camaraderie that they had going on.

Tey and Jo lived closest to the Pack house. Their home was everything she had ever dreamed of growing up. When she and Cami were young, they would plan to live together and make a home for themselves, including the white picket fence and all that.

Her reality was so much better. Tey designed a house right from her dreams. It was a timeless Victorian with round window seats and balconies. They’d painted it in the typical Victorian manner using six colors to highlight all the architectural details. She’d stack up her house over any of those ‘painted ladies’ that made parts of San Francisco so famous. He had even thrown in a white picket fence that surrounded their home so their children could play.

"Yeah, I had fun. I would bet that our Alpha will be knocking on the door soon," she giggled.

"It’s so nice to hear you laughing again," he said and buried his head in her neck.

Jo sighed, she had been down and also been blocking him, so he wouldn’t know the extent to her grief. She had only known her birth father for a year, and she felt his loss more than she even felt when she left the home she grew up in. Home, ha, she thought, it was not a home, and it was a prison. Frank and Tina made sure of that. When she got to the age that her body started to change to become a grown woman, Frank had taken notice. Jo cringed at the thought of the man's leers and suggestive remarks.

But she had overcome and moved on, just to fall into a relationship with her loser ex.

Tey was like a ray of sunshine when she met him. He was handsome, strong, and so protective, without being smothering.

Now they had their wonderful twins, Christen and Cassandra, who had turned out to be the amazing wonder healers of the Pack. She had been so shocked when she discovered her children had healed Jordan. Hell, she thought her children were special, they just didn’t know how special.

She had taken solace in her children when her father had died. She wanted to make sure she started to tell them now about their wonderful grandfather, just like he asked. They had so little time, and she hated that. Jo must have let some of her sadness leak through, because Tey pulled her tighter.

"Talk to me," he said in her ear.

Jo sighed, "I can't stop wondering why he had to do it? I mean, I know he thought he had to redeem himself in the eyes of the Pack. I get that, but why did he have to be the one to fight Braden. Quin would have done it, and he would have won without getting killed."

Jo began to sob, and for the first time since her father died, she released all the emotion she had been holding back. Tey whispered in her ear softly to try to reassure her about letting it all out. Jo cried for an hour laying on her mate and soaking his shirt. She put on a good face, then last night; she finally let herself forget. She wanted to be normal again. Not feel the weight of the world on her shoulders, and have fun with the girls. At least, she accomplished one thing. She let loose.

She thought about her adoptive father and mother, about the last years she had with them. Frank and Tina disappeared; no one seemed to know exactly where they were.

Some people said that they had moved to the east coast, while others said to the west.

Quin had people looking, but each time they caught a trail, it seemed to disappear.

Since she had let out her inhibitions last night, it was no wonder; she had not been able to hold her shields. "Baby, it was his decision. You have to respect that. You know how much he loved you and the kids; he needed to do that for himself," Tey said and Jo nodded.

"I know that in my head, but it’s my heart that is having a little trouble with it," she sniffed.

"I know, and things will get better. We’re your family now, me and the kids, the rest of the Council, Cami, all of us," he said.

"I know, I actually thought the other day maybe it would have been better to have never met him. How I missed the father I never had growing up. There is a hole in my heart where he once was. You know when I was a little girl; I used to wish someone would turn up and take me away from Frank and Tina. He wanted to make up for everything bad that ever happened to me, but I told him that being my father now is what mattered.

Now he’s gone. I have no idea what to do,” she sobbed again.

“Your father will always be with us, honey. He left us with great memories, even if they were only for a year. He once told me, when I was worried about everything that was going on with the Council, and we had been having meeting and leaving the twins with the nanny, that it wasn’t the quantity of time that you spend, it’s the quality of time. Our children will always know that we love them and will be here for them. You have to remember and honor the sacrifice he made. Don’t let his death be in vain,” Tey said.

“How do you do that?” she whispered and laid her head on his chest.

“What?” He laughed.

“Make me feel better with just a few words,” she whispered.

“Because I love you, and I know that your heart is hurting right now, and you will not get over that today, or tomorrow. And I will have to remind you again in a few days that you will make it through this together with me and the rest of your family. Now that you have finally cried and opened up, we can begin the healing,” Tey said and rolled her on her back and kissed her.

She smiled and allowed the loving feelings that he was pushing to her to roll over her.

He nipped at her lips, and she grinned hoping that the kids were being watched. “Yes they are,” he whispered, and she laughed, then they heard their front door slam open and her Alpha female scream.

“GET YOUR SORRY ASS DOWN HERE YOU VENGEFUL BITCH AND HELP ME GET

THIS OFF MY FACE!”

Tey jumped up from the bed and looked around startled. “What did you do?” he smirked when he heard what Cami had yelled.

“Nothing that an alcohol swab won't take care of or maybe I’ll let her sweat it out after the interruption she just made. “UP HERE DRAMA QUEEN!” Jo called and heard her friend screech at the knick name she had given her when they were younger.

Chapter 11

Roarke walked into the conference room next to his office and looked around at the people that were waiting for him. He was glad that he had planned this year's ago, and already set up his alliances, thank goodness Tina turned out to be so helpful. His idiot brother almost ruined everything.
