not completely.

“You don’t trust me?” she asked. He chuckled.

“Should I?” he smirked. “Norah, I bought you, illegally. I’ve

held you against your will in my house for almost three months. A

rational person would stand to think you would run from me the

minute you got any distance. You could easily tell someone of

our……situation and have me arrested. Then you would be free of

me.” She stepped around him and moved his body to the side so she

could get in the car.
“So you don’t trust me. Good to know. Good to know I gave

myself to a man who thinks the first chance I get I am going to run

from him.” She got in the car. Liam walked to the other side and got

in. “Anyone would think the same thing Norah.” He started the car.

“I know how we started, okay? You don’t have to remind me, I lived

it! But things have changed, wouldn’t you say?” she asked. “I would

say that, yes.”

“I was a virgin, Liam. I don’t take that lightly I told you I was

saving myself for a commitment. I guess I thought we had more of

commitment than we really do. I guess I should expect to be sold at

another auction when you get tired of me.” Norah reached back to

put on her seat belt, but Liam grabbed her arm. “Don’t ever say that

again, do you understand me? I didn’t take your virginity lightly

either, little one.” He let go of her arm and started to put the car in

gear.

“Do you think I would give myself freely to someone I didn’t

love and want to be with?” she asked.
Liam turned to her with a confused look on his face. “You

love me?” he asked. “Yes.” She lowered her eyes. “You didn’t say

that,” he stated. “I didn’t think I had to,” he touched her leg. Liam

realized Norah was a lot like him. Her actions spoke for her when

words failed. She hadn’t been able to verbally tell Liam she loved

him, so she showed him by giving herself to him. She looked away

from him and out the window. “Why would I run from you anyway?

How many times have you told me that I belong to you?” He cringed

when she said she belonged to him. Yes, he had said it before, he

had even thought about it before. He even said it again when they

made love. But he didn’t mean it the way she thought he meant it.

But maybe having her think she belonged to him wasn’t so bad. He

didn’t want to lose her. “If I ran, you would just find me. And I’m

sure my home coming party wouldn’t be fun.” She looked back at

him. He withdrew his hand from her leg, not liking her comment. He

wanted any resemblance of a normal relationship with her but he

knew on some level she must still fear him. So instead of telling her

that he thought he might love her too. He showed her.
“I’ll look at my schedule on Monday, and we’ll plan to go visit

your family.”

They had lunch in Liam’s favorite restaurant, and the owner

just wouldn’t stop talking about lovely Norah was. Liam was actually

getting a little jealous of the way he was touching her and talking so

closely with her. Norah laughed and was very polite. They ate on the

patio and enjoyed the beautiful weather. After they ate they strolled

around and did some window shopping but every time Norah said

she liked something, Liam wanted to buy it.

“You don’t understand window shopping, do you?” she

asked. They walked hand and hand, and he carried three bags of

things Norah had said she wanted. “No, I guess not.” They stopped

and Liam bought some ice cream. “I have a lot of money, Norah. If

you want something, I want to get it for you. It’s the least I can do for

how I have treated you.”

“Liam, you have to stop thinking you owe me something. I

mean, how much stuff do you need to buy me to feel like we are

even?”
“I don’t know, but I’m not there yet.”

Norah waited on the corner while Liam went and bought her

a bouquet of flowers. “For you, my lady,” he bowed to her. She

laughed and smelled the flowers.

“They’re beautiful. Thank you.” He kept trying to get her last

words in the hospital parking lot out of his mind.

“If I ran, you would just find me. And I’m sure my
home coming party wouldn’t be fun.”

Liam picked Norah up from the passenger seat and placed

her on the couch in the study. It was only 6:30 but all the walking

and stimulation was just too much for her. He went to the kitchen

and asked what smelled so good. Rosa had returned to cook dinner

for them and would be back full time on Monday. She informed him

dinner would be ready in just a few minutes. He went back to the

study and kissed Norah’s forehead to wake her up. During dinner,

Liam thought it was good time to tell her how he felt.
“I want to trust you, Norah, and I want you to trust me. I care

about you so much, and I can’t imagine you leaving me. I want to

keep you here, to keep you with me, and protect you. I think of how

easy it was for…..” he took a sip of his water. “It was so easy for

them to take you. You are so trusting to people. I worry that if I give

you the freedom to come and go, it could happen again.” He

clenched his eyes shut. “I don’t even want to think of what could

happen to you.” He took another sip of his water. “But I know I can’t

keep you locked up, and expect to have a normal relationship with

you. I mean, normal for me.” She laughed.

“You mean, being with someone who doesn’t mind you

acting like a caveman all the time?” she smiled.

“I like a submissive woman, I’ve been clear about that, yes.

But I also like what we have. You seem to know when I need you to

submit and when you can push me. I’ve never been that way with

anyone.” He took her hand. “I guess what I am asking is for you to be

patient with me.” He kissed her hand.
She didn’t understand all this ‘wanting her to stay with him’

conversation, like she had a choice. But instead she decided to push

her luck again.

“Do you have any other women?” she asked boldly and took

a sip of her water not letting her eyes leave his.

“Excuse me?” he asked, wiping his mouth with his napkin.

“Earlier, you made it clear that you don’t plan on sharing me

with other men, but are you planning to be with other women or are

you already? There are a lot of bedrooms upstairs, you could have a

woman behind every door.” Liam couldn’t believe she was even

asking. “That isn’t funny, little one. You’re being very mouthy today.”

He paused again. “No, Norah, I haven’t been with another woman

since I met you, nor do I plan to be. Do you really think that little of

me?” he asked her.

“I didn’t mean to upset you, Liam. I don’t know how this

submission thing works. You’ve been in this life for years, I have

been in this life for a few months. It could be like one of those

compounds where the men marry as many young girls as they can.
Maybe it is a given that you sleep with as many women as

you want, or you stay faithful to one, I really don’t know.” She

lowered her eyes. He hadn’t expected this conversation with her. He

thought she knew she was the only with him. But now that she

mentioned it, she was right, she didn’t know about this lifestyle. This

was choice he made for himself after doing some research, attending

parties and being taught to be a Dominant.

She was forced in the lifestyle, and was only told that she

would use and abused to her master’s liking. Maybe it was time for

him to explain some things to her. “Well I guess in some dom/sub

relationships it does work that way, yes. But not this one. I won’t

share you, and I have no desire to be with any other women. Some

couples go to parties and watch each other with other people, or

perform scenes in front of groups. We won’t do that either. I have

done those things before but I don’t want that with you. This

relationship will be just the two of us. Like I said, give me some time,

and it will get easier.” Liam couldn’t imagine taking Norah to sex

parties.
The thought of tying her up or using his toys on her

interested him, but he knew she wasn’t ready for that and probably

never would be.

Norah wanted to tell him she didn’t mind waiting for him to

adjust to their ever changing relationship. She was about to tell him

her feelings when the door opened. Gerald stood there and they

could see Will pacing behind him. “Mr. Hastings, Mr. Chambers is

here to see you, I’m sorry, sir, he’s says it’s urgent.” Liam waved him

on, and for Will to come in.

“What is it Will? What’s going on?” he asked.

“She’s gone! Jane left me! She ran! She told me she had a

headache and went to bed early. I went to check on her and she was

gone!” Liam stood up and dropped Norah’s hand. “She took money

from my safe, some of her clothes and my gun! You have to help me

find her!” Liam looked down at Norah. She couldn’t tell what he was

thinking, but she was sure everything he had just said was in

question now.
His worst fears for her had just come true with Will and Jane.

He had remarked that Will and Jane seemed happy and well

adjusted. Now she was sure he was even questioning his own

feelings for her at the moment. “Go upstairs. I’m going to go help

Will, and I will be back later. Stay in my room, and don’t leave!”

Norah stood up and started to walk away. He grabbed her arm. “Do

you hear me?” he asked. “Yes sir,” she said as she pulled her arm

away from him. Norah knew everything was about to

change…..again. As soon as Norah was out of sight Liam let him have

it. “How did she have the code for your safe, Will? What were you

thinking giving her access to money? How stupid are you?” he

snapped. “You are the one who taught me the rules to this stupid

game. How could you be so reckless?”

“I don’t know. I guess she saw me go in it once or twice, and

memorized the code. I didn’t know she knew it! I knew I gave her too

much freedom! I should have left her ass tied up! She was different

from the start, Liam. The first night we were together, she was

ready, she said she wanted it.” He paced the floor.
“I should have known when she didn’t act scared that she

was just trying to gain my trust so she could run. You’ve done right

to keep Norah in line. Don’t let her out of your sight, Liam. Don’t

trust that bitch any further than you can throw her.” Liam stepped to

Will. “Norah is nothing like your Jane! You fucked up! You have no

one to blame but yourself!” He turned to walk to the door, then

quickly turned back. “And if you ever call Norah a bitch again, I’ll cut

off your fucking fingers and you won’t even be able to jerk yourself

off!” He turned back towards the door and they went to look for

Jane.

Chapter eleven

Norah

I felt the covers being ripped off my body and Liam was on

top of me. His hand covered my mouth, and his body pinned me

down. His eyes looked crazed. I kept blinking trying to focus. Was

this a dream or real?

“Are you going to run from me, Norah? Is that your plan? Are

you trying to make me love you so I will trust you, and then you are

going to run?” This was real, and he was crazy. He pressed himself

against me and held my forehead to the pillow while he kissed my

mouth. I tried to move my arms but they were pinned over my head.

I could taste liquor and cigarettes in his mouth.

“Get off me,” I panted. He squeezed me tighter and pressed

himself into my body. His hands moved to my arms and he licked my

neck and the space between my breasts.
“You think you can spread your legs for me and then run

from me, Norah? You think you can look sweet and innocent and

make me love you? I won’t let you run! You hear me! I won’t let

you!” He grabbed my nightgown and ripped it off of me.

“Stop this, you’re scaring me!” I screamed. “I don’t want to

run! Stop saying I’m going to run from you, I’m not!” I snapped. He

took my nipple in his mouth and bit me. “Stop it! You’re hurting me!

Get off me!” I screamed.

“You can’t tell me no, Norah! I own you! You’re mine! I can

fuck you whenever I want! I’ve been too nice to you! I should have
