“Yes, Sir.”

“We will communicate, or next time I will not be so
gentle.” He smacked her right cheek with restrained force.

“Ouch!”

Ignoring her protest he delivered a series of five
more smacks, alternating between cheeks. The slow glow caught his attention.
The outline of his hand was not yet visible, but the skin turned to a rosy hue.

His fingers weaved back between her thighs. He found
wetness seeping down her thigh. It might be punishment, but it pleased him she
enjoyed his firm hand. Even her tiny nub had hardened and extended.

“You will count the next five for hiding from me. Do
you understand?”

“Yes, Sir.
One … two … ouch, three … four … five.”

His fingers entered her once more. Thrusting in and
out of her passage, he found a rhythm and grinned broadly at the deep rosy glow
of her back side.
His mark.
Her acquiescence brought
him pleasure, and he’d return the favor, eventually.

Her legs widened their position, giving him even
more. His heart jumped unexpectedly. Why did this woman make him want to break all
his rules? Until yesterday, he would have thought her mute.
No,
not Lydia.
She was a wonder to him.

“What do you need, Lydia?” he asked as he slammed
his fingers inside her and rubbed her rosette with his thumb.

“Oh, I need to come for you, Sir.”

“That’s my girl. I’m most pleased with you, Lydia. I
will be leaving you all wound up unfortunately.” He pulled his hand from her and
lifted her to stand before him.

“But—”

“Lydia, do you want another round or have you
learned your lesson?”

She took a couple of seconds to answer, and he could
see her working to slow her breathing. “No, I understand, Sir.”

“Well done.” He had much to explain, and she had
much to experience before she’d truly understand. However, the bond, or more
importantly the trust, had begun. His cock shifted with pleasure and caught her
attention.
“Evidence to your effect on me.”

He stood, and her sweet hand pressed against his
pants’ zipper. He lifted her chin with the tip of his finger and saw her hunger.
His cock pulsed again. A smile spread across her face and lit her eyes.

“May I, Sir?”

“What would you like to do, sweetheart?”

Her gaze lowered, and she remained silent.

His hand took hold of her still warm butt cheek. “Give
me an answer.”

“I want to pleasure you, Sir,” she spit out without
thinking.

“How will you bring me pleasure?”

“By sucking … your cock, Sir.”

Her need had just taken over her nerves. His heart
cracked open for the passionate, beautiful woman before him. She wanted to
service him. His mind went crazy with thoughts, but only one took hold.
She’s
Mine
. The
last of his rules faded away. She was stronger than he ever gave her credit
for. Sweet, quiet Lydia had the power to overturn his whole world.

“On your knees.”

****

She scrambled to her knees and watched him lower his
zipper. Her heart continued to beat wildly from his discipline. Erotic was the
only way she could describe the experience. Brazen and horny were new to her, but
she wanted to embrace them. His hard cock appeared before her, and she reached
for it, desperate to suck the tiny bead of cum from the head.

“Hands behind your back.”

Confusion took hold, but she obeyed before she thought
it through. Instead of making her angry, his demand heated her further. The
situation drowned her sex with fluid, and she sucked on her lower lip.

“Open.”

The second her mouth opened he pushed his thick cock
inside. She sucked him greedily. After tasting the salty pre-cum, she moaned in
pleasure. His rich musky scent swirled in the air, wrapping her in a cloud of
desire. His hands took hold of her head, holding it in place.

He pumped in a slow rhythm in and out of her mouth.
Her pussy clenched at the reference to how he had taken her pussy with his
fingers just moments ago. In and out, her tongue snaked around his cock, and she
sucked.

All her mind could process was his control over the
situation. She wanted to give him pleasure, but he made it happen. He took his
pleasure and used her to get what he needed. She searched his face and found
his gaze trained on her. Desire seeped through the darkness of his expression and
called upon her to serve.

In that moment, something cracked within her, and
tears filled her eyes. His moan filled the room, and he quickened his pace. Excitement
spun through her muscles as she stroked him with her mouth. Even with his
frantic pace he wasn’t pushing too far into her mouth. Cum shot down her
throat,
and she sucked, wanting every drop, which she got.

He pulled from her, and coldness sank into her skin.
Gone were his attention and his control. She refused to be embarrassed by what
she had done, but she didn’t want to look at him, and that bothered her.

The sound of a zipper cut through the quiet.

“Lydia, stand up and look at me.”

She had no choice. Nothing held her to the ground,
except her worries. She concentrated on his request.

At a snail’s pace she stood and raised her head. Her
heart sank to her feet. His eye-brow arched at an ugly angle, and
unfriendliness poured off him. She was tempted to take a step back, but stood
her ground. She wanted to ask what had upset him. Confusion swirled around her,
making her dizzy.

His hand feathered across her cheek. Her head turned
into his hand, and warmth returned to her body. She waited for the fear to
follow. Fear of how much power she was giving him. Instead, a deep need overcame
her. It was official. She craved his touch. She craved him. In that moment, the
gap in her armor was barely manageable.

“Damn, woman. You make me forget how new you are to this.
I keep forgetting to talk more about the safe words. You do understand you have
the power to stop or slow things down, right?”

“Yes, I remember them.”

“Are you okay? Tell me. Did I push you too far?”

Her cheeks hurt with the smile that forced its way
in. “No. I’m fine. I mean, you keep surprising me. At the time, it’s innate, but
when it’s over…” She tried to look down, but his hand forced her chin to
remain. “I’m unsure. I want so much from you, and it scares me.”

“Can’t you tell I feel the same? You are wholly
unexpected, sweetheart. If you’ll stick with me, we can continue to explore.”

“Unexpected, that’s a good way to put it. I had no
idea, not really, but all I want is more.”

“I want you to think about coming to the club with
me on Friday.”

“You do?”

“You keep proving that you’re ready for more, and to
be honest, I want to show you off and claim you in a way so that no one will
forget you’re mine.”

“Oh, Jake.”
She
wrapped her arms around his neck and melted against his body.

“You’d come?”

She arched back to look him in the eyes. “Yes, Jake,
I want to go to the club … as yours.”

“There will be lots of paperwork, disclaimers,
waivers, limit lists.” He widened his stance.

“I’ll have questions.” A smile lit her from within.

“I can help with that, and you’ll need a physical
exam before they’ll process your membership.”

“Okay.”

Questions rang through her mind, but she pushed them
all away. He’d stepped up and admitted his wants, and she would follow his
lead. Why hide when he offered what she wanted? She knew it may not last, but
she was going to wring out every drop while she had his attention.

He claimed her mouth with a searing kiss. His tongue
stroked hers in strong caresses leaving her boneless. In the next second, he was
several feet away from her.

“Lydia, gees, woman, I can’t help myself.” He shook
his head, and a tiny smile played with the corners of his lips. “We need to get
back to work.”

“I know.” She wanted to pout, but he was right.
Pouting was not her thing. She physically shook herself and looked up at him
smiling. This wonderful man had her thoughts tied up in a tasty pretzel. Life felt
different, like she’d been given a custom fit, and now she felt exposed. She hoped
no one would notice the change.

Back in the room, she wanted to sit close and let
her hand wander across his thigh. She also wanted to keep the project on
schedule. Sitting any closer to Jake would lead to more locked doors and low
productivity.

She kept her hands on the keyboard and her sights on
the screen. Jake had just been talking about one of the limitations in the
program, and they were supposed to be thinking of possible workarounds. Instead
of finding solutions, her mind considered the different things Jake might
request of her at the club. She’d watched videos this morning of Dominants taking
their
submissives
from behind, right in the middle of
a club. Would Jake fuck her in front of everyone, proving his control and need
for her body?

“Yes, I think that’s exactly what will happen.” Jake
nodded.

“What?”

“If we don’t have a balance check here, the accounts
are bound to get off track.”

“Bound?”

“Lydia, we’re supposed to be working. Where was your
mind just now?”

“Thinking about Friday night.”
She
shrugged, and her cheeks tightened with the unwanted smile.

His left hand sneaked across the table and tweaked her
nipple.

Ow
.”

“Do you want another?”

“Yes, I mean no. Oh my, what’s happening to me? And
stop looking at me like that.”

“Sweetheart, that’s not up to you anymore.” His grin
got bigger, and she giggled.

She thought they were hopeless.

“If you get your mind back on track I’ll give you a
reward.”

“Oh, thank you, Sir.” She liked his idea and wanted
to take it up a notch. “How about every time we finish a policy we take a break
and lock the door.”

His body stilled and seemed to grow at the same
time. She waited for his response and took a slow breath as blood pounded
through her heart.

“You’re full of surprises, aren’t you, Lydia?” His
thumb reached out meeting her arm resting on the table and rubbed the spot.
“You’re on. Now, the workaround, the checks and balances, let’s get this fucker
done.”

Chapter
Eight

For the next three days, the pair got a tremendous
amount of work done. Each night they continued their adventures in getting to
know each other. Last night, they had gone on a traditional date, dinner and a
movie. He had taken her home afterwards, walked her to the door, and kissed her
on the cheek. It had been the sweetest moment in her life, only marred by the
fact she wanted him to come inside and not leave her there wanting him.

He’d said that since Friday night would be her first
night in the club, a night apart would help them step back and prepare for the evening.
She was supposed to clear her head and think about what she wanted. She wanted
him last night in her bed or sharing her couch.

Her excitement couldn’t even be dampened by the
ugliness of the weather. Windy, rainy days were the worst in Chicago. The cold
could seep through anything and leave you shivering all day. With a bit of help
from the awnings along her route she made it to the L mostly dry.

It felt strange for her to go about her normal
schedule. No one around her knew the joy leaping through her veins. Only she
knew. However, she might have been the only one smiling in the rain. When she
got to work and said hello to a few people she suspected her co-workers were
getting
an inkling
something was different. She ran
into Gina on her way back to the conference room.

“I hear your project is ending today.
Excellent work, Lydia.
Next week you’ll be back to your cube
and your normal setting. I bet it will feel good to work on your own again.”
When Lydia only responded with a smile, Gina continued. “I’m sure Jake is looking
forward to having his days back, too.”

“Have a good day, Gina. I’ll see you later.”

As she sauntered away, she imagined Gina watching
her go. Finally, she’d figured out she no longer needed to respond to Gina’s petty
picking. Nothing was going to get in her way today. Gina was not her problem.

Jake wasn’t at the table when she entered the room, but
the door slammed behind her. Before she could look to find the cause, she was
hauled back and up against the door.

“What took you so long to get to work today,
sweetheart?” Jake growled and palmed her breast.

“I’m actually a bit early.”
