Abby giggled, "I guess it's not a good thing that I put out before our first date." She didn't feel the least bit guilty. She felt like she had known Ian forever. "I think this was truly putting the cart before the horse."

"I know." His voice sounded contrite and guilty. "But I'll make it up to you, Abbie."

"Oh, Ian. You already have," she murmured. He would probably never understand how his genuine affection had changed her.

"No, I haven't. Not yet. But prepare to be spoiled, woman," he warned her, as if it was a punishment.

Abbie fell asleep with a smile on her face, entwined together completely with Ian.

She didn't know as she drifted off to sleep that night that Ian had been completely serious.

She learned to be spoiled and cherished by a man that adored her in the weeks that followed and Ian learned to loved just for the man that he was.

It was a happy and blissful union for two people who thought they would never find true love.

But Ian and Abbie definitely did.
