EPILOGUE

Four years later…

“R
eady…Set…GO!” the man shouted into the megaphone.

It was summer time and the Annual Hewitt Honey Farm Family Get Together had a huge turnout. All of Oak Glen had come to the farm, along with some of from the neighboring towns. The sound of the children playing in the fields was a welcoming one and once thought to be long lost. There was a jumping castle while a local band was playing music and people were either dancing or clapping along.

“My goodness, I never thought that the farm would be so packed with people like this again,” Athena said to her husband while they’d been walking around, greeting and talking with people.

“I’m kind of glad that we decided to start this up again, it’s been a long time coming,” Weston told her as he waved at someone who shouted out his name.

“I’m just glad Pamelia talked me into starting it up. I know that plenty of people have started buying some of the honey, I’ve even got some folks who want me to do some catering for their weddings and parties.”

“I know and I talked with a guy name Dan who wanted a shipment of honey sent to a store he owns over in California. He wants get this now, about five cases sent. Also, he told me that if it works out well, he’ll order more and we can make a hefty profit from it.”

“Hey Mom,” Tyler shouted from where they had been serving up ribs, hot dogs and hamburgers. “We’re almost out of ribs and corn on the cob.”

“All right sweetheart, I want you to go and help Blake with getting more ribs from the restaurant while I go and find Jeremy and Pamelia.” Athena kept running into everyone from town and it took her a while before she finally found Jeremy.

Pamelia’s sister Veronica and her husband were with him as they all were eating and chatting along with the man Pamelia used to work for, Mr. Jones and his wife.

“Hey mom,” Jeremy smiled as he hugged her when she came over to the group.

“How’s everyone doing? Did you get enough to eat?”

“Chris is going back for some more ribs and potato salad,” Veronica told her as he got up from the table.

“Weston is bringing some more, so I suggest you hurry and get in line before everyone else does.”

“Mrs. Hewitt, I have to say that I am really enjoying this,” Veronica spoke. “When Pamelia told me that you guys were bringing this back, I was like wow, I couldn’t wait to see how it would go. Next year if you want, I can make some of our food or even bring the truck if that’s all right.”

“Please do, we plan on doing it again next summer. We can talk about what each of us will serve,” Athena agreed.

“Sounds like a plan.”

Athena then looked around and asked Jeremy, “Where is Pamelia at?”

“Oh, let me go and see if she’s done.”

~* * * *~

Jeremy looked around at the people from town, enjoying themselves with their families on their farm. Ever since Pamelia came into his life, he’d been a happy man. Life on the farm had become more enjoyable than ever for him. After about a year in a half of dating, Jeremy popped the question to Pamelia and they got married at the church where she grew up. It was a lovely affair with their families coming together and getting to know one another.

He found her sitting by herself, away from the crowds underneath a tree that helped to shade her.

She gazed over at him, giving him that stunning smile as always but then went back to looking down in front of her. She held a white linen blanket over her chest.

“Hello there sweetness,” he greeted her.

“Hey there, someone was hungry, so I came over here to give her some quiet time.”

Jeremy saw a little pink foot poking out from underneath the white blanket.

“I swear she senses you a mile away sometimes.” Pamelia smiled as she adjusted herself and took off the blanket, exposing their sweet daughter.

The little baby girl peered up at him with beautiful blue eyes like his and dark curly brown hair with hints of blonde like the both of them together.

Jeremy grabbed the sheet and folded it up quickly to where he could put it over his shoulder, so he could help burp her. “There’s daddy’s little girl, come on and let’s get a burp out of you.” Putting her over his shoulder, he rubbed her little back and patted it lightly. Becoming a father was something he’d always dreamed of and when Pamelia told him the day she was pregnant, he couldn’t have been happier. He even had it advertised in the paper that he was going to be a dad and when his family found out, they were so excited about having another Hewitt in the family.

When Margaret Marlene Abigail Hewitt was born, she weighed seven pounds five ounces and Jeremy cried tears of joy when he held her in his arms. Never would he have thought they could make such a lovely creation. He never cried before in his life except for when his grandmother passed away. They decided to name her after Pamelia’s Mom and Aunt and his grandmother, women that were strong and meant the world to both of them but they nicknamed her Abby for short.

He was constantly taking pictures of her, so much so, that Pamelia had got onto him about it. But he was a doting father he had argued. He helped out with making sure she was dressed, fed and bathed…the moments they spent together, he treasured the most. Especially in the morning, when the sun was just about to rise and she’d just woken up, Jeremy would go and get Abby from her crib as he wrapped her up in a blanket, taking her and his cup of coffee out on the porch to watch the sunrise. He could see her looking around with those big blue eyes of hers and he would tell her, “See Abby, look at how the sun shines just for you.”

Now, he was standing here, burping her. Something he’d become a whiz at since it seemed that no one could get her to burp after a feeding, except for him. Pamelia said he spoiled her and in a way she was right, Abby was his little girl. “Mom was wondering where you were.”

“I was going to look for her, but Abby was crying and I knew she needed to be fed. Is she still—?”

A loud burp could be heard along with a coo.

They both laughed at the sweet interruption.

Holding her up, he wiped Abby’s little mouth.

Pamelia straightened out her little white linen dress which had a bee stitched on the front, along with the cute little headband with a big yellow sunflower on the side. “Come on let’s go,” she told him as she took his hand.

Before she could even take a step, Jeremy pulled her over to his side, giving her a lingering kiss on the lips. Then he pulled away to gaze into her eyes. He never got tired of looking at her or kissing her.

Pamelia smiled up at him. “Still the charmer,

Jeremy gave her a playful wink as he softly caressed her cheek.

Chuckling as the baby cooed happily, they both walked back over toward their family and friends.

Jamallah Bergman
was born in Jamaica Queens, New York. Although, her family moved around a bit from New York to Alabama to Georgia, Jamallah's childhood was mostly spent in Roswell, Georgia.

At the age of twelve, Jamallah started writing scripts for her doll babies. As she got older, her inclination to write grew.

Soon, after reading her first romance novel at fifteen she became hooked on romance and deviated from writing her doll baby stories, to romantically inclined stories.

Her thirst to write eventually sent her from one out of the box experience to another. She eventually engaged her thoughts and writing into writing erotic stories.

As Jamallah's interest as a reader grew, questions aroused her curiosity. Why were the heroines in the stories she loved so much, nothing like herself. She felt none of the women were full figured, or plump. To coin a phrase from the well-known comedienne Mo'Nique, like "Thick Madame", a thick and curvy woman.

Often, she became upset because she felt there should be stories out there about all types of women, including thick, beautiful women like herself. Why were there no stories about full figured women who got the handsome hunk? She would ask herself after reading another romance story where the beautiful main character was thin.

After researching and finding very few stories about curvy women, Jamallah thought it was time the romance readers market read more stories about full figured heroines.

She started to write stories where the full figured woman 'ALWAYS' got her man!
