Wrapping her arms around his neck, Pamelia looked up into those cerulean eyes which sweetly watched her.

Giving her a small kiss on the lips, he smiled. “You look beautiful like this do you know that?”

“Well, don’t I look beautiful any other time besides now?” she joked.

He chuckled and kissed her again, this time with more passion, more intensity which made her moan afterwards. He then pulled his lips away. “You look gorgeous every time I see you but having you right here in my arms like this, it makes you even more beautiful.”

Pamelia felt a bit of her heart tugging by his comment. “What am I going to do with you Mr. Bee Charmer?”

“Anything you want, I am yours always. But I can tell you this, the next time we make love, I promise that it won’t be a quickie like tonight. Tonight is just a sample of what I plan on giving you.”

“Oh, really,”

While they’d been talking, his cock had been slowly getting harder and her appetite for him was slowly growing for him as well.

“Yes ma’am.”

Chapter Thirteen

J
eremy felt at peace.

He’d been up for quite some time now, just watching her sleep so innocently against his chest. He would often move a tendril of hair from her face when it got in the way. She sighed softly when she moved as Jeremy tried not to disturb her. He gave all of what he had while she accepted and took it last night. Hearing her voice moan out his name over and over again, it made him only want her more, wanting to love her, not just in bed but also in life itself.

Jeremy watched her start to stretch then slowly yawn and he decided to kiss her open mouth. Her muffled whines along with her writhing body seemed to settle once she realized what was happening and she started to laugh. “Stop that now.”

“Good morning, you slept pretty well.”

“That I did, I actually didn’t think I was going to get any sleep with you constantly nudging me off and on during the night.”

“Sorry, I couldn’t help it. You sounded so cute with your little giggles when I would nuzzle your neck. Look, I’ll show you.” He did and a giggle fest ensued from her that made Jeremy’s heart feel light. “How about I make us some breakfast?”

“Oh,
you
are going to make me breakfast?”

“As well as dinner tonight too, when I come back to pick you up this evening,”

“And what do you have in mind for dinner?”

“If I told you, then it wouldn’t be very much of a surprise now, would it?”

“Of course but—?”

“You’ve been trying to wear down my resolve, but I’m sorry to report that it’s not working.”

A grumble from her let him knew that she was through with asking but Jeremy got a kick of her doing it anyways. “Why don’t you go and take a shower while I go into the kitchen and make us some coffee, toast and scrambled eggs, we’ll eat light this morning, so we don’t get too full for later on.”

Pamelia went to take a shower while Jeremy rummaged through her kitchen to find the things to make their breakfast. It didn’t take him very long and he set the small kitchen table for them to eat. He poured some orange juice while the coffee slowly but surely started to percolate in the coffee maker. The smell seemed to give him a contact high and he couldn’t wait to get himself a cup once it was done. He chuckled. He wore himself out last night. He decided to wait for her to get out of the shower before he started to fix anything. Jeremy then went to peek in on her to see how far she was in her showering.

He could hear the water running when he made his way into her bedroom. The steam clouded the small room but he could make out her silhouette from behind the white shower curtain. Even though he couldn’t actually see her, he still remembered every curve, every bit of softness that contoured her lovely body. He could feel himself grow harder just with the thought of feeling her next to him. Jeremy wandered over to the curtain, slowly peeking in to see that curvaceous body of hers, completely soaked and soapy from head to toe.

She was washing herself with a purple sponge while the smell of oranges seemed to materialize within the steam. “Do you mind closing the door? You’re letting all the hot air out of the room.” She told him as he promptly went to close it again. “Are you here to watch me or are you getting in?”

“Do you want me in there with you?”

Pamelia cupped her hands underneath the showerhead. When she turned around to face him, she threw water onto his bare chest and laughed as he tried to wipe it off. “What do you think?”

He pulled off his boxer briefs and got in, taking her into his arms to kiss her.

Breakfast would just have to wait.

An hour later, Jeremy left her house and headed to the store. He’d already decided they would have something he had wanted to try but couldn’t figure when to make it. Tonight would be the perfect night for some Bruschetta Chicken, maybe a salad along with something tasty for dessert like Honey Lime Fruit Salad. Tonight was going to be their night.

After picking up everything he needed for their dinner, he was on his way home when his cell rang. “Hello?”

“So?”

Puzzled by the question while he heard a snicker in the background, Jeremy replied, “So what?”

“So, how’d it go last night?” his brother asked.

“That’s none of your business bro.”

“Oh, come on.”

“Like I ask you about how it went with you and Lily. Besides, I don’t kiss and tell…you nut.”

“Shoot, it must have been good if you ain’t telling.”

“Is that the only reason why you called me?”

“Actually, Lily wanted me to call you to see how you were, but I was wondering about how it went.”

“Just tell Lily I’m fine and for your information, it’s still none of your business. Goodbye.” Clicking the phone, Jeremy shook his head, he knew his family had been anticipating the day when he found someone to be a part of his life, but he just never realized that she would be someone who worked for his family.

Either way, Jeremy had found the one for him.

After making a stop over by the farm to get what was needed for her to harvest honey from the hive, Jeremy headed back to his house. He began preparing the food ahead of time for dinner that night, so all he had to do was mix everything in the skillet. He enjoyed making simple dishes like this because of course it’d only been him that was eating. If he did want to have a home cooked meal, he would stop at his parent’s house when it was time for dinner. But tonight, he planned on making it special for the two of them.

After two hours getting the house and the set up for dinner right, he hurried over to Pamela’s. Every stop light only made his anticipation of getting to her house more exciting. He felt like some young kid excited about Christmas Day, wondering to himself what would be underneath the tree. When he turned onto her street and made his way towards her house, Jeremy saw her sitting on the porch with an older woman, smiling and laughing.

When Pamela saw him, she hopped up and rushed inside.

When he got out of the car, he shouted out, “Is there a lovely young lady by the name of Pamelia who lives here?”

“Why yes, there is,” the older woman shouted back. “Are you looking for her?”

“Yes, I am, Ma’am. We’re supposed to have a date together.” He watched her get up from her chair and go back inside as he got back into the car to wait.

The woman and Pamelia talked a bit more after she came out and locked door.

When she got in, they quickly drove out of the driveway, waving back at the old woman before driving towards the main road.

“Who was that?” he asked.

“My neighbor Mrs. Miller, she was telling me a bit of neighborhood gossip.”

Then Jeremy noticed her silence. “Is everything okay?”

“Of course, I was just thinking is all?”

“Well, I can tell you this, that whatever you are thinking about, it will be the first thing that we will be doing when we get to my place.” He raised his brows at her, hearing a disappointing groan come from her which made him snort loudly. Then he felt her punch him hard on the arm. “Ouch! I meant other things, not the bees!” He laughed hardily.

“That’s what you get for laughing at me. You know how scared I am about this whole damn thing but of course, you keep it up with the jokes and everything else. It’s just crazy going into a deadly swarm of bees!”

Jeremy couldn’t help but laugh harder.

She sat there pouting and looking more aggravated by the minute.

When they got to the stop light, he leaned over to kiss her cheek. “Now, no more worries about the bees, baby girl, I’ve already told you I’ll be there to help you out, every step of the way.”

~* * * *~

His place looked so quaint for a bachelor, Pamelia thought when they pulled up in front of it. A bungalow type of home with an antique white trim but instead of a modest porch in the front like her own, this one had a big wrap around that seemed to go all the way around the house. It seemed big, too big for just one person to live in but this is probably how he wanted it. “You have an amazing home here, Jeremy.”

“Go ahead and take a look around,” he suggested.

She didn’t want to be nosey but of course, now that she was in his house, Pamelia was going to look around. The living room was set up with a large brown leather couch along with a matching loveseat and a large screen television was mounted up against the stone wall. There was a huge fireplace where many fires were probably made on cold winter days. Along the dark wood mantle were a large ivory candles perched onto black iron candleholders. She saw pictures of the family from years gone by as well as recent ones.

Looking over into the open dining room, she noticed that it looked like the same kind of table and chairs she had for her rocking chairs and back porch table and chair. He had a burgundy and gold runner going along the middle of the table while a platter of red, gold and green apples made the centerpiece.

Pamelia made her way towards the back with her bags, peeking into each room, which she counted about three in total, all were set up as guest rooms except for his room which was the biggest of them all. A mahogany king sized sleigh bed stood in the middle of his bedroom. A big bed for a big man, Pamelia thought with a smile as she put her bag down on it. The matching dresser set off the bed along with matching nightstands on either side. A full-length mirror was up against the wall next to the closet.

“So, what do you think of my place?”

She looked over to see him standing in doorway. “It’s big and roomy and extremely tidy. You must have someone to come clean.” She walked over to him, still eyeing her surroundings.

“Nope, I clean it myself.”

Pamelia did feel shocked, a man who did his own cleaning?

“The only time I really have it cleaned in a big way is when we have the family over and you know how it is having people all over the place, with their kids in and out of your things. That’s the only time I have someone come over to clean because by that time…” He wrapped an arm around her waist, pulling her close to him. “…I’m too tired to do any cleaning.”

Soft lips pressed against her forehead and a sweet feeling went through her instantly.

“All right, now I want you to change into some pants and a t shirt, so we can get ready to head to the hive.”

Then the sweetness turned into a bitter panic. Pamelia couldn’t help but laugh though at the twinkle he had in his eyes. “You really are stoked about this aren’t you?”

“Hell yeah, I told you that you were going to harvest some honey and I meant it. So, go on and get your pants and stuff on, so we can go and get this done.” With a playful pat on her butt, he walked out.

Pamelia huffed as she felt more than disgruntled. In a few minutes, she met him outside, wearing a pair of worn out jeans, a white t-shirt and a pair of boots that he told her to bring.

Oh, and he
was
ready for her, smiling so devilishly when he saw her coming towards him.

“You can wipe that grin off your face right now.”

Of course, he didn’t, he kept right on grinning as he grabbed hold of the white all in one suit. “Here you go milady, go ahead and put this on.”

She snatched the thing from his hand and reluctantly started to put the thing on. It was very comfortable but as he started to help her with it, she found it became too hot. “Is it always so hot in one of these things?”

“I wouldn’t know. I’ve never had to use one. Now, let’s put on the hat and veil.” He brought over a contraption that looked more like a flying saucer than a hat and when he pulled the veil over her face, he pulled it back up, giving her a sound kiss before putting it back down again. “There we go, everything is all tucked in. How do you feel?”

“Like a bag of microwave popcorn, let’s get this over with before I pop!”

Jeremy laughed as they walked hand in hand towards a worn out path through some trees until they came to a clearing where about four hives stood. “Now let’s see, I think that this one over here should be ready.”

There was a long rectangular plastic bin, which when Pamelia saw Jeremy bring it over to her, it looked sticky.

“I collect the frames in here, so when we get back to the house, you can extract the honey from them.”

Bees hummed all around them. All the while she looked over to see how he was doing, since he wore absolutely no covering.

Jeremy looked completely calm as they went to the first hive. He went into his pocket, producing a small box of matches. He grabbed one of those smokers that she’d seen around the farm and lit the match. Once he got the smoke going good, he handed it to her as he opened up the top of one of the hives. “I want you to move the smoker across the top of the hive, so the smoke can calm the bees before you take the frames out.”

The smoke loomed over the hive in a heavy fog while she waved it back and forth against it. “How long do I do this?”

“Not very long, just a minute or two should do just fine to calm them down. Now, I want you to slowly take out the frame, so we can see if there’s any honey to be harvested.”
