Reset Your Beauty
Skin brush daily and apply coconut oil moisturizer after showering or bathing.

this page
to increase circulation and decrease cellulite. Try to do at least one detox bath or sauna session and one facial treatment.

Reset Your Exercise
One hour of sweat-inducing yet low-intensity cardio upon rising. If dropping a few pounds is part of your three-day goal, add an extra forty-minute fat-burning session at another time during the day. Do not try to go a straight hour and forty minutes. It’s important to split these cardio sessions for best results and so that the sessions don’t zap your energy.

Bravo!!! You completed your three-day supercharged reset!

Whether you embark on the twenty-one-day, ten-day, or three-day reset, fully commit to following the plan! Remember to do your grocery shopping in advance and to clear your kitchen of any foods that could derail your success. If you should fall off the wagon, promise yourself you’ll jump right back on. In addition to the aesthetic changes you’ll see, you’ll feel better and will have more energy. Walk into your big event with the confidence that you look as good on the outside as you feel on the inside. Enjoy yourself!

“The doctor of the future will no longer treat the human frame with drugs, but rather will cure and prevent disease with nutrition.”

—Thomas Edison

All of the recipes mentioned earlier in this book are contained here
. We’ve organized them into categories, beginning with juices and smoothies. The meals are organized into breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snack, and we also have some soup and homemade vinaigrette recipes for you. Each recipe is simple to prepare and uses easily obtained ingredients. Most can be made ahead and then eaten cold or reheated.

GREEN JUICES

The juices will be made in a juicer,
not
a blender. If you don’t have a juicer, but do have a Vitamix or a blender, skip to the green smoothie section (
this page
). If you have a juicer, please use that for the juice-cleanse portion of the Juice Cleanse Reset Diet, as you’ll have faster results while juicing. The fiber is removed from the fruit and vegetables in the juicing process, while in the Vitamix or blender, it’s left in the finished product, making a smoothie rather than a juice. These juice recipes won’t taste the same or have the correct consistency if you try to make them in your blender.

These green juices have a combination of vegetables and fruit for maximum nutrition. They’re the building blocks of your cleanse and a great addition to your diet every day. The leafy green veggies give these juices color, minerals, and vitamins, and the fruit adds natural sweetness to keep them tasty. Once you are accustomed to the basic flavors of these juices and smoothies, experiment with adding more greens and less fruit. Preparing juices and smoothies is not an exact science. Variables such as the type of juicer or blender and the ripeness of the produce will yield varying textures and quantities of juice. Feel free to adjust the recipes as desired. Minor tweaks will not impact your results.

GREEN SMOOTHIES

Time to break out the blender and whip up some smoothies. Although the bits of fiber in the drinks will make them thicker, they’ll also keep you full longer. For smoothies, you can use banana or avocado to add creaminess and flavor. Please note that the strength and capability of your blender will affect the consistency of your smoothie. If it seems too thick, you can add water, coconut water, or even some of your homemade almond or hemp milk. If you use all fresh ingredients (no frozen fruit), add ½ cup of ice, if the recipe doesn’t already include it, to make your smoothie cold.

When you’re on the juice-cleanse portion of the reset diet, it’s best to use a juicer, if you have one, and follow the juice recipes. If you don’t have a juicer, use the smoothie recipes that follow in your Vitamix or blender.

Green Banana Smoothie

This creamy blend of banana, spinach, and kale is combined with apple to deliver an energizing, nutrient-dense, fiber-rich, and satisfying smoothie.
