Noelle Sickels
grew up in northern New Jersey, the setting of
The Medium.
She is the author of two other historical novels:
Walking West,
the story of an 1852 wagon train journey from Indiana to California, and
The Shopkeeper's Wife,
a tale of murder in 1856 Philadelphia. She's also had contemporary short stories and poems published in numerous anthologies and magazines. Ms. Sickels is a retired teacher living in Los Angeles and Ojai, California. She isn't psychic, but she did see a ghost once.

This is a work of fiction. All of the characters, organizations, and events portrayed in this novel are either products of the author's imagination or are used fictitiously.
