“Oh shit . . . I’m about to come.” His breathing picked up.

She let go of his ass and grabbed his hands, locking her fingers in his. He squeezed tight as he released what felt like buckets. He shook three times as she released him from her mouth, licking and sucking on the head to swallow the last drops of life from his powerful orgasm. Malik stood there unable to move or think. Sabrina smiled from ear-to-ear.

As he tried to compose himself, Sabrina stood and sashayed off to the bathroom and rinsed her mouth out. Upon her return, she saw Malik still standing there.

“Fucked your head up, didn’t I?”

“Hell yeah. Where you been hiding all that good head?”

“Well, I have to save something or you will get bored.”

“Can we put that on the schedule for at least once a month?”

Sabrina covered her mouth and laughed. “You are so crazy. Now come hook mama up.”

Malik walked over to her and said, “Touch those toes for daddy.”

She spread her legs and placed both palms on the floor. Malik slid up in that hot, wet pussy and went to work. He pulled her up slightly so he could lean over and gave her long hot kisses up and down her back. He stood and went back to grinding deep and close, making sure to pay attention to her every moan and would match it with one of his own. No matter what he shared with Keisha, he always made sure he was making love to his wife. Once she came, he led her to the bed so he could lay her down, get those legs on his shoulders, and give her what she called the royal treatment. After a few hours, they were knocked out.

When Malik woke up he watched his wife get ready for work. She was rushing all around the room because their last night activity threw her schedule off and she was now running late.

“You can stay home today. I’ll pay you to do some work right here,” he said, patting the empty spot next to him where she once lay.

“You know we are being audited this week, I have to be there,” she said not even stopping to entertain his advances.

Malik got out the bed, grabbed her around the waist, and planted a kiss on her lips and then her collarbone.

“Damn, you smell good. I want to eat you up.”

“Well, that is going to have to wait until later. Because I have to gooooo,” she said as she melted in his arms.

Malik continued to rub up and down her back in an attempt to get her to stay home, but he was given pause by the sound of their daughter calling out for mommy.

“See, she even knows that her daddy is in here being bad.” She pushed him back a little and headed to the baby’s room. When she came back, she had a diaper and washcloth in her hand. “I am going to change her and get her ready for Dawn. She should be here in an hour,” Sabrina said.

“You can tell her not to come today. I had plans to take her out with me today.”

“Where are you going? Are you still going to be able to take my car to the shop for a tune up?”

“Yeah. Put the keys on the dresser. Drive my car. I’m going to get Raheem to pick me up. Pass her to me. Hey daddy’s girl.” She fell into his arms giggling and touching all over his face.

“Baby, please don’t give her things she shouldn’t have. It makes it hard for Dawn to deal with her when you are not home.”

Sabrina leaned in and kissed him then headed downstairs. Malik went downstairs to see Sabrina off. She had just prepared her lunch and was gathering her briefcase and jacket. They walked to the garage. Malik looked Sabrina in the eyes and said, “I love you, baby. You and baby girl are my world.”

“I love you, too, Malik.” She got a little misty eyed then wrapped her arms around his neck and hugged him tight. She kissed the baby then got into the car.

“Are you going to be home when I get in?”

“If I am, can I get some more of what you gave me last night?”

“You are so bad.”

“If you stop holding out, I wouldn’t be acting up.”

With that, she started up the car and turned to her favorite morning talk show. Her song was on so she did a little dance in her seat and hit the garage door button and watched it rise from the rearview mirror. As she backed out the driveway, Malik took the baby’s arm and began to wave at Sabrina.

“Say bye-bye to Mommie.”

When she got to the end of the driveway, she stopped and waved back. They blew kisses to each other. “I love you,” she mouthed and proceeded to back out.

BOOOOOOM!

The car blew up, blasting Malik and the baby farther back into the garage. As Malik lay there on the floor unable to hear or move, tears ran out the corner of his eyes as the feeling of helplessness came over him. He couldn’t tell where his daughter was or if his wife was alive or dead.

A few hours later…

Tah’leek and Raheem had not yet heard about what happened at Malik’s house. They sat in a local bar talking; trying to figure out what it was that Sadeek was getting them into. Tah’leek was feeling like he wanted to get the fuck out, take the shit he had acquired, and just be a father to his son and a husband to Trina. Then on the other side was his twin brother, who had come up with a plan to keep him in the business and maybe a way of getting rid of him, too. Why the fuck did he trust this nigga, Scarie? The more he sat on it, the more suspicious he became. Tah’leek sat there getting all fucked up with all these contradictions in his head.

“Man, I don’t know what the fuck has gotten into Sadeek,” Raheem said.

“Man, it’s that bitch, Keisha, that got him all fucked up.”

“All I know is a nigga got to sit on this Malik shit he got planned for a couple days. Look, I’ll hit you later. I gotta go uptown to take care of some shit.” Raheem got up and set his glass down.

“A’ight, I’m headed across town. Hit me up when you get back.” Tah’leek gave Raheem some dap and they headed to the door.

Tah’leek headed over to Wilson Place Projects to get with his partner, Moon. It’s funny because even though Raheem, Tah’leek, and Sadeek were as thick as thieves were, they never really trusted one another.

Tah’leek jumped in his car, hit the CD, and bumped “Cell Therapy” by Goodie Mob. As he drove, he thought back to a little over a year ago when he met Trina. All he could do was smile. Regardless of all his faults, he knew how much she loved him. She had changed his whole way of thinking. He was ready to get out and settle down. He damn sure wasn’t trying to lose his life and his wife over some bullshit.

Chapter 5

Catastrophe

Damn, what did they do to this young lady?” one doctor asked another. Keisha had been found in a vacant lot by a woman walking her dog.

“I don’t know, but she is going to need a lot of help if she pulls through.” The other doctor responded.

“Just keep her sedated and get her prepped for surgery.”

“She is going to need extensive repair to her rectum and her vaginal area not to mention all the other lacerations. See who’s on call from plastic surgery.”

“What the fuck were they trying to do to this girl?”

“Order a battery of tests from toxicology.”

“We also need to get a social worker up here to see if they can help her through the psychological damage when she finally wakes up from surgery.”

The doctors were talking about Keisha as if she wasn’t even there. But in the state she was in, well, what was left of her resembled an empty shell.

What did I do to deserve all of this? She wondered.

Then she heard Sadeek’s voice, Sadeek asking questions and wanting to see her. The feelings of abandonment and fear turned into relief. If nothing else, she knew he would make sure she was all right. The doctor told him that she was in and out and he could only stay for a minute since she had been sedated and prepped for surgery.

Sadeek entered the room and she could hear him breathing, but she could barely see him through the slits in her eyes. He walked over to her bed and whispered in her ear.

“Baby, I’m here,” he said with a smirk on his face.

For a moment she was relieved, but that all quickly changed to fear and despair when he said, “And I only came to tell you that if it was up to me, you would be dead already. Dirty bitch. I guess all that fucking around finally caught up with you. All I wanted was to love you and our daughter and keep you safe, but no, you wanted to trick around with nigga after nigga. Yeah, I know about you and Malik, and Tom, Dick and fucking Harry. Well, the jokes on you. I hope you lay here and rot. Then join his wife. Maybe y’all can take turns fucking the devil. Bye bitch, I’m going to make a better life for my daughter and me. The only regret I have is that I found you alive.” He pulled out a needle and stuck it in her vein. He backed up and walked away.

Tears fell down her face. My daughter. Not my daughter. I need her. Keisha’s heart started to race. I can’t breathe. Feeling herself drifting off, the last thing she heard was the heart monitor. Beeeeeeeep . . .

The Aftermath

Once news hit the streets about Keisha’s death, it put the police and FBI on high sensitivity, being that she was the main piece of bait they were going to use for their investigation. And what made matters worse was to find out that not only was she dead, but her boyfriend’s wife. What the fuck was going on?

Rajon, Keisha’s cousin, arrived at his mom’s house and when he saw his aunt crying hysterically, he knew that shit was real bad and only going to get worse. The police were trying to calm her down and Rajon was hoping that Keisha wasn’t hurt too bad, but no such luck. The drugs in her system along with the trauma she experienced never allowed her to make it out of the operating room.

When Keisha’s mom, Brenda was told of the news she dropped to her knees and every feeling of regret, hate, and disappointment went through her body all at once. Why did God have to let this be the icing on her punishment cake? Brenda ran the streets and had the same type of lifestyle that had just taken her daughter’s life. She had only been clean for a few years and was trying to make it up to her by spending plenty of time with her granddaughter. But as they say, what goes around comes around. Karma had made its way back and was ass fucking her with no Vaseline.

Keisha’s aunt, Pat was the only calm one because she was the only one with all the pieces to the puzzle. She had been warning Keisha to get the fuck away from Sadeek and that fucking his boss was only going to come back and bite her in the ass. But true to form and being her mother’s daughter, she was street smart and dick dumb. What the fuck was wrong with these young girls? Damn! Get a good piece of dick and lose they muthafuckin’ mind. Don’t make no sense. Why a bitch can’t ride a dick till the wheels fall off and call it what it is, a good fuck and then go handle their business? Damn.

Pat’s next thought was the baby. She needed to get her as far away as possible. She knew her sister; Brenda would not be in any state to take care of a baby. Plus, with Keisha’s death, her next five dollars was going to the dope man. That raising kids shit ain’t my style, Pat thought. All she would do was raise another hustler because that’s all she knew. However, Pat knew one thing for sure. The streets had codes. And at the top of the list was kill everyone involved, even the seed or it will rise up and take revenge.

The Takeover

Malik was all fucked up over the catastrophe that had just fallen into his lap. He was sitting in the house having one too many when he got a call from Sadeek. He almost didn’t answer it, but instead he did.

“What’s up, Malik?”

“Man, I can’t call it. I think God hates my fucking guts. We been combing these streets for days and we ain’t got shit to show for it.”

“Well, I have some information that may help you get back on speaking terms with him,” Sadeek stated.

“Yeah? What’s up?” Sadeek had Malik’s full attention. Although he was suspicious, he had to hear him out.
