“Nah, Boss, just trying to pass a little time,” Aldeen answered in his lazy ‘I’m high as hell voice.’
“That wasn’t a fucking question,” Kayson spat back, giving him that death stare. Aldeen was crazy as hell, but he didn’t fuck with Kayson because that nigga was two kinds of crazy. Aldeen gave everybody a look as if to say get to work. Just then, KoKo came out the building and stood on the corner adjacent to them. She was sporting a pair of loose fitting jeans, T-shirt, tan Timberland’s, and a vest. She wore her hair in a ponytail and had a harder bop to her walk than the niggas in the crew. KoKo was now seventeen. Over the last couple years working with Wise and Aldeen, she had become a beast and because of her fearless attitude and natural mind for business, they had her in charge of several areas in Brooklyn and the Bronx. She stopped at the gate and looked around. She had never met Kayson, so she didn’t know why all of a sudden the atmosphere had changed.
“Yo, are y’all muthafuckas working or what? I ain’t running a gotdamn babysitting service. Do some shit or get the fuck off the block.”
Niggas got busy doing whatever their job was. People were coming up whispering in her ear trying to let her know the daily count and that Kayson was present. She looked up and spat on the ground and headed toward Kayson and Aldeen.
“Who the fuck is that?” Kayson said to Aldeen.
“That’s KoKo,” Aldeen said with a smile. He was interested in what Kayson was going to do next.
“We got a fucking dyke out here running shit?”
KoKo could hear him, so she answered the question. “I eat a lot of things, but pussy ain’t one of them.” Aldeen busted out laughing because he knew that shit was getting ready to get real interesting.
“Is that right?” Kayson responded.
“Does a bear shit in the woods?” She put her hand out then said, “I’m KoKo.”
Kayson put his hand out to make the introduction. “Well, I’m Kayson, the Boss.” Neither one of them blinked.
Then KoKo said, “Oh, that’s what they call you?”
“They? What you mean by ‘they?’” Kayson quickly responded.
“I’m just saying. The way I see it, we work in goods and services. You provide the goods. We provide the service. If you didn’t have us, you would be out here yo’ damn self-hoofing and sweating. So my motto is, Fair exchange ain’t no robbery.”
Kayson looked at Aldeen. Aldeen shrugged. “So wait a minute, if I ain’t the Boss then who the fuck am I?”
“You are going to have to do some soul searching or some shit for that one.”
Kayson had to laugh. He could not believe that here he was going back and forth with a bitch, and she worked for him. What the fuck is going on? He couldn’t get mad because she was a female version of him just like Aldeen had said. All he could see was that with a little training, he had a fucking pit bull on his hands. Kayson didn’t know what to say next. But whatever it was would have to wait because what happened next definitely let him know that this little bitch with the mouth was going to be his number one.
As Kayson stood there trying to see what his next move should be, he saw a guy with a crazy look in his eyes approaching. KoKo had the nigga pegged from the corner. It was Ike and he was always trouble. The frown mark on her forehead was deep and her eyebrows rose. Kayson was wondering why her attention was now totally diverted. Then he realized that this nigga must be a problem. He positioned his hand behind him where he kept his nine, but this day, he wouldn’t need it.
“Yo, what the fuck is up? I told you what I needed and when I needed it, and you just fucking a nigga around,” the guy approaching yelled out.
Kayson was getting ready to say something, but Aldeen touched his arm as if to say, “Watch this.”
“Don’t even worry. She got it,” he whispered.
“Muthafucka, I told you that my office hours are from six to nine. It’s 4:30. I don’t talk to you muthafuckas a minute before,” KoKo growled at him. This was KoKo’s favorite line from The Five Heartbeats, she had adapted to her program, and when it was violated, a nigga was in trouble.
“Bitch. What the fuck you think this is? Your office hours! Get the fuck outta here with that bullshit.”
“You see a bitch, you slap a bitch.” KoKo spit on his brand new sneakers. And looked at him like nigga what?
Ike moved under his shirt as if he was going to grab for a burner. In one swift movement, KoKo stepped in front of Kayson, pulled out her nine, and shoved it into Ike’s mouth. At the same time, she grabbed him in his collar and swept his feet from under him, knocking him to the ground.
She kneeled over him. “Now, as I said muthafucka. I don’t talk business until six o’clock. Now, what’s stopping me from blowing your muthafuckin’ head off?”
“Nu . . . ttttthing,” Ike tried to get out as blood ran down the sides of his mouth.” He was scared as hell. That nigga had his hands up in surrender, sweating, eyes popping all out his head.
“You muthafuckin’ right.”
Boom!
KoKo blew Ike’s brains out all over the sidewalk. Looking over at her goons, she gave the nod and they got Ike out of there in thirty seconds flat. Two dudes picked him up as a van pulled up to the curb. They put him inside and then replaced her gun with another one and were gone. People looked on in fear. She kept two cleaning dudes nearby for shit like this. They came pouring solution and spraying water, cleaning the area within minutes. It was like nothing had ever happened. KoKo put her gun in place, looked at Kayson and said, “Now, you were saying something about being my boss.”
Kayson was impressed, but had to say something about that dangerous move she just pulled with him out there. He looked her in the eyes.
“Don’t ever pull no shit like that again with me out here,” he said.
“Well, you better let me know when you coming. ‘Cause around these parts, I’m the Boss. Anything else? I got a business to run. You’re holding me up.”
Kayson had a confused look on his face. Didn’t she know who the fuck he was? He made a note just then that he was going to make her submit. I’m holding her up. Yeah, all right, first chance I get I’m gonna hold them legs up on my shoulders and fuck the shit outta her.
“That’s all for now.” Kayson looked over at his right hand man, Aldeen. “Bring her to me later.”
“No problem, Boss.” He turned to KoKo and said, “Be ready when they come to get you.”
She smiled at him and said, “As long as it’s not between the hours of 6 and 9.”
Kayson chuckled, shook his head, and walked toward his car. He figured that he had been in the hood one minute too long.
Aldeen walked over to KoKo. “You gotta calm your ass down, yo.”
“You might be right. But today. Ain’t the fucking day.” KoKo spat on the ground and walked off.
“Yo, I’ll pick you up at 9:30,” Aldeen yelled out.
KoKo put the peace sign high in the air and said, “Indeed,” and kept on walking.
Wise came over to Aldeen and said, “That was some crazy shit.”
“Hell yeah, that bitch is fearless,” Aldeen said, thinking about what Kayson was going to do. “She’s what Kayson needs to handle these next missions.”
“What do you think Kayson is going to do when he get her up to the house?” Wise asked.
Aldeen smiled then answered, “Nothing today, but if I know my nigga like I think I do, he’s going to make her call him the boss.”
It was 11 p.m. Aldeen, Wise, Baseem, and KoKo were just arriving at Kayson’s mansion. He lived outside the city in the ‘burbs. The gate opened and they drove up to the house. When they got within twenty-five feet, the garage opened up and it led to an underground parking area.
KoKo was impressed. It was some straight up Godfather shit. They exited the vehicles and headed for an elevator right by the parking spot. All the way up, everyone was quiet as hell. KoKo was starting to wonder what type of visit this was going to be.
When they got to the second floor, the doors opened, but no one got out. Baseem put his arm in front of the doors so they wouldn’t close and said, “Take a left and go straight. Have a seat. He will be right with you.”
KoKo looked at them. “Where the fuck y’all niggas going?”
Aldeen smiled. “Sheeeeit. He wanted to see you. We about to go chill. Catch your happy trigger-finger ass later.” Wise cracked up.
“Fuck y’all. You know how I get down,” KoKo stated.
Baseem looked at her with that evil ass sneer. He was the type of nigga that never smiled for shit. “Get your ass out the way. I’m about to go downstairs and get my dick sucked. You cock blocking. Now take your I-don’t-give-a-fuck ass down the hall and sit the fuck down,” he said, giving her a little shove.
“Yeah, all right, the last muthafucka who shoved me can’t wear hats.” She heard laughter ring out as the elevator doors shut, and then KoKo walked down the hall. It was dark and quiet as hell. Is this a set up? Shit, this nigga better come correct or it’s on. I ain’t going out like no sucker. She sat on the couch admiring the artwork and sculptures that were all around. The aroma of leather and air freshener filled the air. She was sitting there for about thirty minutes when Kayson came out from fucking nowhere.
“Damn, I almost busted a cap in your ass. You can’t just sneak up on a bitch.”
“You talk a lot of shit for such a little person,” Kayson said smoothly.
“Size doesn’t mean shit,” KoKo continued the exchange.
“We’ll see about that,” Kayson said with a wicked grin on his face. He already knew that he had to calm that ass down and knew just how he was going to do it. What KoKo didn’t know was he had been watching her get big for the last two years. He stood back and let her do what she had to do, and she had become one of his best workers. Up to this point, he never felt the need to make himself known to her, but he needed a female for his next task and the bitch had to be fearless. He also knew that she didn’t have a boyfriend and that the last time she had sex was two years ago. He had made that dyke comment earlier just to see where her head was. She was too rough around the edges and he would have to get her to act like a fucking lady in order to pull this heist off without error. So he knew she needed some serious dick control.
“What you drinking?”
“I don’t drink. But if you got some sticky you can twist me up something nice.”
“Nah. We don’t smoke up here.” Kayson was real smooth. She didn’t know how to receive him. He walked up to her and stood over her. “You know you owe me, right?” he said.
“What the fuck do I owe you?”
“You took out a worker of mine without permission.”
“Sheeeitttt. I did you a favor. That muthafucka was weak and always crying like a bitch. He was a liability; we are only after the assets.”
Kayson was even more impressed. “I got some shit I need to take care of. You are the only one that I can use.”
“No problem. Give me the nigga’s name, address, and social and I’ll call you when it’s done.” She stood up to leave. Kayson grabbed her by the arm and made her stay there. Kayson gave her a dirty look that said, all right now; I let you have an inch. Don’t take a fucking mile. KoKo was a fool, but she wasn’t a damn fool. So she stood right there. Kayson backed her up against the wall hard and pinned her there staring into her eyes with severe intensity. He turned her around and put both her hands on the wall. Then he got all up on her ass and spread her legs with his foot like she was under arrest. “They didn’t search you before you came up here?” he whispered.
KoKo was thrown totally off her square. “No, but I guess you’re going to take on that post.” KoKo was still trying to be tough.
Kayson slid his hands slowly down her arms. He got to her breasts and then whispered, “Keep your hands up.”
She could feel his dick getting hard; it had to be half way down his leg. Kayson continued his search, rubbing under her breasts then down her stomach. She twitched with every touch. Kayson smiled, enjoying every moment. He went down and put his hands in the crease of her legs, moving slowly down her calf. When he got to her ankle, he went to the other ankle, moving up calculatingly, making sure this time to get a feel of that pussy as he reached the top of her leg.
