I pick up the chum bucket.
There's still a quart or so of blood and fish guts in the bottom. Plenty. I step up onto the railing, balancing myself with my free hand on the roof of the cabin.

"
Thanks again, Tom."

I step off into the water.

"
A twisty tale of greed, double-crossing and families bonds both good and very, very bad."

“Sears is terrific at generating momentum and suspense”

—PUBLISHERS WEEKLY

"A Wind of Knives dusts off the classic western's most enduring motifs and gives them a shine. With no lack of gunplay and bloodshed, the book also has heart and intelligence."

LEE THOMAS
, Bram Stoker Award and Lambda Literary Award-winning author of
The German

"
When a work is published by Tyrus Books, I know there's going to be something nifty between the covers. But I (kinda) never saw this one coming. Simple perfection. A smart, moving story; outstanding dialogue; wicked humor; and well-drawn--I could have read it again as soon as I finished. And I rarely reread. Tyrus has another winner. READ IT."
