He laughed, and leaned me back to press a kiss against my smiling lips. “We can’t leave just yet.”

“Oh yeah? And why is that?”

He pointed to the spot where Trian and Myrna laughed with each other in the corner. “Because she’s about to toss a garter, and I want to see how well a dragon morph will fare against an entire room full of single women.”

“Really? You know what happens if I’m successful? I have to start looking for a guy I can convince to marry me. Otherwise, all these single women will be forced to remain that way forever.”

He held me close as we swayed along to the music. “That’s not a problem. If your flirting skills are rusty, I can let you practice on me. But let’s go home first. I have a feeling you’re a lot better at it than you think.”

Never Deal with Dragons

Consoling a sobbing dragon and serving pig buffets are just part of the job for Myrna Banks.
