Closing his eyes, he let himself simply feel the pleasure her lips were
creating. She licked along the vein then up and around the tip. Opening his
eyes, he watched her lick the tip, taking pre-cum as she did.

She truly was amazing.

When she’d mentioned him leaving her or kicking her out, he’d panicked.
Never had he felt worried about losing a woman. Losing Claire had never entered
his head when she’d taken that final plane ride. Rachel was part of his life,
and he’d rather chop off a limb than risk losing her.

He would do everything to keep her close beside him.

Gripping her hair, he increased her thrusts, trying to make her take him
deeper. She wrapped her fingers around his length, stopping him from going too
deep. He released her hair to stroke her face.

“You look so beautiful sucking my cock.” She gazed up at him. Her face
was flushed and her eyes dilated with arousal.

Chris needed inside her badly. Watching her suck
him
was driving him crazy. Pulling out of her mouth, he took her hands from around
his dick. Lifting her to her feet, he stepped out of the trousers around his
ankles.

“I was enjoying that.”

“I loved you doing it.” Slamming his lips down on hers, he walked her to
the back of the bed. Her room didn’t have the mirror and wherever they moved to
would have mirrors. “But I need to be inside your tight cunt.”

She gasped. “You’re so crass sometimes.”

“I’m crass all the time, baby. When it comes to you I want everything.”

Easing her back on the bed, he followed her, settling between her
thighs. Her pussy was soaking wet. Sliding his erect cock through her slit, he
coated the shaft with her cream, loving the way she thrust up to meet him.

“Please, Chris, don’t tease me.”

“Promise me you’re not going to leave me,” he said.

She frowned. “I’m not going to leave you.”

He locked their fingers together before resting them to the bed on
either side of her head.

Chris pressed the tip of his cock at her entrance so only the head was
lodged inside her body. He held her down, stopping him from going deeper or
from her pushing up.

“You’re being mean on purpose,” she said, whimpering.

“No, I’m not.” He stared down into her eyes. “I’m promising you, Rachel,
there will never be another woman in my life. You’re the only person I want in
my life.” Chris leaned down, kissing her lips. “I love you so much. I’m so
sorry for the pain I’ve caused you.”

Staring down into her eyes, Chris realized he couldn’t lose her. Rachel
was the one and only person who could stop him from ruining his life. She meant
everything to him. The feelings coursing around his body startled him. He knew
he loved her and would do everything to protect her. Chris had never before
given much thought to just how much she meant to him.

“Please tell me you forgive me.”

Rachel didn’t look away, not once did she look away from him.

“I forgive you, Chris.”

“From now on I want you to come to me whenever you’re worried or are
concerned about what’s going to happen. Do you promise?”

“Will you just fuck me?” she asked, pouting.

“Promise me.”

She was silent for several seconds. “You’re not going to give up until
you get what you want, are you?”

“You know me.” He’d always win, but when it came to Rachel, he didn’t
know if he was capable of winning anything.

“Fine, I promise.”

He plunged hard and deep inside her. She cried out. Her nails sank into
his hands. They both gasped together.

Chris kept his gaze on hers feeling the ripples of her tight cunt around
him. There was nowhere else he wanted to be other than inside her.

Slowly, he eased out of her tight warmth. Dropping his gaze from hers,
he watched his slick cock pulling out of her. “Watch us together,” he said.

Her gaze followed his, looking between them. They were as one with only
his tip inside her once again.

Slamming inside her, he returned his focus to her eyes. She cried out,
and her eyes closed. Kissing her lips, he plundered her mouth as he did her
body. She moaned, thrusting her tongue into his mouth. They were in time with
each other. Their bodies answered the call where their words could not. He’d
never been attuned to anyone else before in his life. The pleasure was intense,
almost magical flowing between them.

Kissing down her body, he sucked one red-tipped nipple into his mouth.
He bit down on the flesh, feeling the answering ripple in her cunt.

She screamed, fighting his hands in an attempt to escape him. He
released her breast, flicking the tip as blood returned to it.

“Tell me to stop when it’s too much,” he said.

“It’s not too much. It feels amazing. What you do to me is amazing. I
never want it to stop.”

Going to his knees, he pounded inside her, awakening a need that he
thought had died. With the death of Claire, he believed he never wanted a
family or child again. Staring into Rachel’s eyes, he felt the need once again.

He wanted a family with her and to give her everything that had been
taken away from the both of them at some point in their life.

“I love you, Chris. Don’t leave me,” she said.

“I won’t, baby. You’ve got me for life.”

They found their peak together. Their climax brought cries of pleasure
from their lips. Chris watched her through the haze of his own relief.

Only when the pleasure started to ebb away did he collapse on top of
her. For the first time since they’d been together, Chris hoped he’d given her
a baby.

“You’re too heavy,” she said, tapping his back.

Moving off her, he pressed a hand to her stomach, really thinking about
what they’d done together. He hadn’t used any protection and not once had he
seen her taking pills for protection.

Chris wanted to ask her more than anything. Instead, he snuggled up
tight against her. Questions at this time could spoil the time they spent
together. He wasn’t going to risk it.

“I love you,” he said.

“We’re saying that a lot.”

“We mean it.”

Staring into her eyes, he caressed her face, knowing he’d do everything
to keep her.

Chapter Eleven

Rachel watched the woman eyeing up her man. The estate agent was
supposed to be showing them the perfect house, and all she was doing was
flirting with Chris. Rachel had to give points to Chris because he didn’t flirt
back, not once. In fact, he pulled her tighter against him. The agent, Samantha,
her name was, looked between them.

“So, is this for your sister?” Samantha asked.

Chris chuckled. “No, this is for us, isn’t it, baby? It’s time we found
a house together.”

They’d looked at other apartments, but there was nothing to suit their
needs. Some of the apartments had been crap and in the bad part of the city.
Chris had lost his temper at one of the agents for showing him crap viewings.

She smiled up at him. “We’re hoping to start a family.”

“Congratulations,” Samantha said, meaning anything but. Rachel saw the
difference in the woman. Her back was stiff, and her voice lost all trace of
flirtation.

“I don’t think she likes us,” Chris said, whispering against her ear.
She shivered as his breath brushed the fine hairs across her neck.

It was four weeks to Christmas, and she wanted to find a house and be
settled in that time.

“She likes you a lot.
Me, not so much.”

The kitchen was large with a nice range cooker. Whenever Samantha
pointed out certain facts, Chris spoke up saying he’d change everything. Rachel
struggled throughout it all to keep a straight face. Samantha was really trying
to sell them something, and Chris wasn’t happy.

“I don’t like this house,” Chris said, twenty minutes later after the
woman had been talking nonstop about all the important features.

“We’ve got to pick a place. I’m not spending my first Christmas in your
bachelor pad of love.”

They’d been looking for the last three days. Chris was working out his
notice at the hospital and had already signed a contract at the hospital across
the city. They had marked, on a map, the area where they were looking for
places. Rachel was starting to hate not having a budget on what they were
looking for. Chris never batted an eyelid at the cost of the houses while she
tried to figure out the cost of rent and how much she’d have for groceries and
other bills.

“I’ve got one more house to show you from my list,” Samantha said.

Chris got the directions, and Rachel walked back to the car. She climbed
inside, hoping Chris would hurry up and get there so he could put the heater
on. When he left the house they’d just looked at, she knew something had
happened. The scowl on his face looked threatening, and Samantha didn’t even
look in their direction.

“Okay, what the hell happened? You were laughing and smiling when I left
you,” she said, rubbing her hands together.

“She tried to fucking kiss me. I can’t believe some women. I’m with you,
and yet they think they stand a chance.” He shook his head.

“Did she get to kiss you?” Rachel asked.

“No, thank God. I would hate to think where those lips have been before
me.”

Rachel giggled. He’d been open and honest about the women in his life.
She didn’t even get jealous when he mentioned the women at work. He kept them
all at arms’ length. She knew he had a hard time dealing with her working in
the bar. David was a wonderful boss. She enjoyed working, serving drinks, and
chatting with the customers. It was one of the few jobs she actually enjoyed
doing.

“Why are you laughing?”

“I trust you. It’s nice for you to see what I’ve had to deal with for a
long time now. It’s not fun being all sexy, is it?” she asked, resting her head
against the back of her seat.

Recently she found herself feeling sick more. This morning when she’d
woken up alone, she’d been so overcome by sickness that she’d spent thirty
minutes in the bathroom.

“Well, we’re going to have to tell everyone that knows us I’m taken.
We’re a family, Rachel. Don’t leave me alone with that woman again.”

She laughed and stared out of the window. They were a family together.

Samantha was already opening the door to the final house. The front
garden looked to be in need of some tender loving care. Rachel climbed out of
the car slowly, taking a look around at the garden. Before her eyes, she saw
herself weeding and planting. Frowning, in her mind she saw herself pregnant
with a swollen stomach and a child dancing around her feet.

Cutting the thoughts and the images off, she followed Chris inside the
house. The space was breathtaking. The rooms had high ceilings and windows. The
moment she stepped inside, she felt at home as if she was supposed to be there.
Not once in the places they’d visited did she feel at home. Samantha started
talking, explaining the features. Rachel ignored her, looking around for herself.

She took a good look around each room. Chris didn’t leave her side,
holding her hand. The kitchen was a decent size, and Rachel knew it was the
place for her. Once she saw the rooms upstairs, along with the bathroom and the
back yard, she was so happy.

“What do you think?” Chris asked. Rachel pulled him to one side.

“Don’t you feel at home here?” She couldn’t stop the smile on her lips.

“It needs some work.”

“I love it here. The yards can wait until spring and summer. This is the
house for us, Chris, trust me.”

He kept his gaze on her. His hands wrapped around her back. They stood
in the center of the room, staring at each other. She kept her hands on his
face, feeling the pulse of arousal coursing through her.

“Is this what you want?” he asked.

She nodded, feeling a little disappointed that he didn’t feel the
connection like she did.

Chris turned to Samantha. “We’ll take it. How soon until we move in?” he
asked.

“You can move in this afternoon. You’ll need to come back and sign some
paperwork.” Samantha went on and on.

Ignoring her, Rachel pulled out of his hold and moved toward the
kitchen. She touched a hand to her stomach and felt at ease. Then as her
thoughts started to make sense, she panicked. The sickness wasn’t down to fast
moving or the flu. She was pregnant.

How stupid could she get not to even think of the two together?

She jumped, startled as Chris wrapped his arms around her waist. “What
are you thinking about, baby?” he asked.

“Nothing.
It’s so stupid.” She turned her head, smiling at him. “Will you take me
to work?”

“Sure.”

He led her out of the house. She looked back, yearning for it. Chris
talked about what he’d do. Rachel ignored what he had to say. It didn’t matter
about the work needed to complete the house.
