"It better. I'm stuck with it for life," she teased.

He slapped her ass playfully, stinging more than its intent on her already sensitive behind. "I meant that it is healing good. But it really is a great-looking tattoo. I'm glad you were lost and decided to do this, or I would have never met you." He traced his finger along her spine and lowered it all the way down to the top of her bottom, causing her to tense just a little. "Does me touching you there make you nervous?"

Giving a small giggle, she said, "Well, the last two times you touched my butt, you were spanking me, so yeah, I guess you could say it makes me nervous."

He moved his finger along the seam of her ass, not stopping at her words. Moving his finger all the way down, he pressed it into her pussy to collect some juices. He then brought his finger to her puckered entrance and pressed forward. Very gently, he pumped in and out a few times, surprising Rebecca with the sudden invasion.

Clenching her butt cheeks, she wiggled, trying to break him free. "Whoah, what are you doing?"

"Shhh, stop fighting me. Just relax," he soothed, as he continued to gyrate his finger back and forth.

"I don't know if I like that. It feels weird." The odd thing was—she did like it.

"Have you ever had anything in your ass before?" He continued to pump his finger in and out slowly, pausing before he would then go a little deeper.

"I've had anal sex before," she confessed. "But I didn't like it."

"Why not?"

"It hurt."

"You didn't get any enjoyment from it at all?" he asked.

"No. My ex husband tried a couple of times, but I always had to have him stop."

"Then he wasn't doing it right," Sawyer said matter-of-factly as he continued to move his finger around. "When I fuck this ass, you will be begging for more. I promise you that." He pulled his finger out and swatted her behind, kissing her neck and taking a deep breath. "I would show you now, but the first rule of great anal sex is proper lube—which we don't have." He pulled away so he could look in her eyes. "But just so you know, I
will
have this ass."

"Why do I get the feeling that you are really kinky?" Rebecca asked as she kissed the tip of his nose. His declaration turned her on, and she was anxious to see what else would be in store for her with Sawyer in the bedroom.

"I can be," he agreed. "I just believe in good sex. You can't have good sex with inhibitions. You have to be willing to let things go and experience it for what it is. But then I also believe there are times for fucking and times for lovemaking."

"And what did we just have." She smiled, loving how comfortable she felt naked in his arms talking about sex.

"That was lovemaking for sure. Trust me, you will know when you get a good fucking." He chuckled and kissed her lips, pulling away with a huge smile. "I don't know what it is about you, Rebecca, but you pull something out of me. Things feel so easy with you. I feel lighter, not so dark."

"You don't seem dark to me. Maybe at first, with your whole image. But I knew right away that there was more. You're a real softie behind all your tattoos, black clothing, and cussing."

"Shhh, don't tell anyone. Only a few know that secret," he teased. "And what about you? Why are you feeling so lost?"

She shrugged. "Life, I guess. A divorce at my age for starters. I hate my job. I hate my apartment, and I just hate a lot of things. There hasn't been anything to look forward to. I'm bored. But I'm mostly bored of me."

"You are far from boring."

"Maybe now, because for the first time I am trying new things. I'm letting go. I've been so uptight lately. I don't like me. Or at least the me before I climbed that damn tree and mutilated my back," she said with a giggle.

"What do you do for a living," he asked. Odd that she hadn't ever shared that piece of information with him and they were lying naked in a hotel bedroom together.

"Nothing of importance, trust me. Which is the next thing I need to change."

"Well, it's not exactly glamorous, and the pay really sucks, but I need a manager for my shop. The asshole I have now is a real loser and he can't keep up with everything I need. Appointments, ordering supplies, staying compliant with the government and so on is a pain in my ass, and I need someone who can handle it all. The job is yours if you want it," Sawyer said.

Sitting up, Rebecca straddled his body, feeling his cock begin to harden underneath her ass. "Are you just saying that? Do you mean it?"

"It's yours if you want it. Kind of a far commute, but the option is there."

Smiling, she reached down and positioned his dick at her entrance, easing him inside her. "Let me think about it. I may just take you up on that. But for now," she said as she began to ride him, "I have something else I would like to focus on first."

Chapter Ten

A girls' night was just what Rebecca needed. She needed to see Coley and Neely and get their advice, but then a part of her wanted to keep her and Sawyer's relationship private. It was theirs, all theirs, and she selfishly wanted to keep it that way. But on the other hand, her life had just taken this huge turn, and she didn't know what to make of it. Was she reading too much into it? She really didn't think so. She and Sawyer hadn't been able to leave each other's sight for days. He had even canceled some tattoo appointments so he could just lie in bed with her. They'd barely left his house when they returned from her retreat. And my God, the sex. The things he had opened her eyes to. Rebecca had had no idea. No idea that sex could be
that
good. Submission, although new and confusing to her, did wonders in bed. But the three days had to come to an end eventually. Even though she wanted to quit her job and had plenty of time off saved to burn, Sawyer was in high demand.

Dinner went by just like any girls' night dinner, although they missed Kendall who still remained in rehab. There were lots of laughs, lots of teasing, and a fair share of bitching. It wasn't until the end of the main course, when dessert came, that Rebecca finally confessed.

"So, Sawyer and I had sex. A lot of sex. Mind blowing, absolutely incredible, can't get it out of my mind, sex."

Both her friends stared in disbelief before Coley said, "Well good for you. It's about time you got some."

"So has he spanked you again?" Neely asked.

"Maybe, and that's all I'm going to say." Rebecca motioned that her lips were sealed, and the girls must have known her well enough not to pressure.

"I have a secret too," Coley whispered as she leaned toward the girls so no one could overhear. "I visited the local marijuana shop that opened. I was dying to see what it was like inside." She patted her purse. "I have a little extra dessert for us," she said with a wink and a devilish grin.

The high had worn off, which sucked, because it would have been handy to at least have a buzz to help deal with being arrested and put in a holding cell. Fingerprint, mug shot… you name it. It was official—they were criminals. As the metal door closed behind them, the smell of urine, stale alcohol and something so putrid Rebecca couldn't even put a name to it, invaded her senses. Jesus, was it poo?

"We're dead. Not just a
little
dead. Completely dead. Caine is going to be so pissed." Neely began to pace back and forth, biting her nails as she did so. She stopped when she realized that the ink from being fingerprinted still stained her fingers. Neely turned to Rebecca and glared. "This is all your fault!"

Rebecca's mouth opened wide and her eyes bulged. "My fault?
I
didn't bring the pot." She pointed at Coley. "Your sister-in-law's the one to blame."

Rebecca looked around to see if anyone could overhear the conversation. There were only two other women sharing their holding cell. One was a passed-out woman in torn fishnets and a tight black mini skirt. Her hair was up in a side ponytail, red lipstick smeared her face, and she only wore one leopard print high-heel. At least the woman's gurgled snore helped disguise the conversation. The other cellmate sat on a bench and scowled. She had short hair, wore all black, and had an eye patch. The woman reminded Rebecca of a pirate. She even had skull earrings to accentuate her style. Pirate woman's arms were crossed, and there was no doubt in Rebecca's mind that this woman was not someone to mess with. Rebecca smiled weakly when she made eye contact with Pirate Woman's one eye, but she got nothing in return except a grunt and a clenching of her jaw. Needless to say, any friendship or mutual bond would not be in their immediate future.

"I thought it was legal!" Coley defended. "How was I to know we would be arrested? I bought it at one of those shops. Besides," she continued as she stared at Rebecca, "you're the one who picked the spot. And when the cops pulled up, you said we were fine. You said it was legal to smoke pot now. We didn't hide the stuff because of you!"

Rebecca shrugged. "It's not a big deal. I'm sure it's just a fine or something. We'll be bailed out soon, and this will all be something we can look back on and laugh at."

Neely shook her head. "There's nothing funny about this. Being bailed out is just when this gets worse for me. Caine is literally going to kill me! When I called him, I could tell he was livid. He was calm. Calm Caine is never a good Caine."

Coley nodded. "Vance wasn't happy either. I'm thinking I might enjoy sleeping here for the night more than going home."

"You guys are overreacting. No one is going to be mad at you." Even as Rebecca said the words, she knew she was wrong. The ladies had two alpha men to deal with when they got home. At least she was lucky she didn't have to deal with that. But then again… she envied that they had someone to come home to. Someone who cared about their well-being.

"Did you call Sawyer?" Neely asked.

"No. Why would I do that? I was hoping Caine would just bail me out. I'll pay him back." The thought of calling Sawyer had crossed her mind, but it didn't seem right. They'd only been dating for such a short time. When in a relationship do you reach the 'honey come bail me out' stage?

"Why didn't you call him? He would be here in a second to get you out of here," Neely pressed.

Rebecca shrugged and glanced again at Pirate Woman on the bench who now dozed, her chin resting against her chest. She still looked mean, even in sleep. "We're not like you and Caine, or Coley and Vance. I don't want to involve him in this mess. Besides, it would take him way too long to get here."

"But he would want to know this," Coley added. "You guys are close enough that he would be angry that you didn't call him."

Rebecca shrugged again. "Maybe. But what he doesn't know won't kill him."

"Oh no, I wouldn't go there. When you date a man who lives DD, you'd better change that way of thinking real quick," Neely informed her. "When he finds out—and he will—he is going to make sure you don't sit comfortably for a week."

Rebecca snorted. "Come on." The absurdity of the conversation amused her. "Spanking for fun or to enhance sex is one thing. Or I can see a spanking that stings a bit for small infractions and all. I mean, I'm starting to understand the appeal of feeling submissive. But a real spanking for punishment? A spanking that has you both nervous? Please." She looked at Neely and then at Coley. "Are you guys telling me that Vance and Caine are
really
going to spank you? Like, for real?" She had been spanked by Sawyer now a couple of times, but nothing that had lingered for more than an hour or so. Definitely nothing that would have her pacing the jail cell the way Neely was.

Both ladies nodded with a look of dread on their faces.

"It's part of the DD lifestyle. It's what we agreed to," Neely said.

"It isn't all fun little play spanks all the time. Sometimes they hurt like a bitch. A punishment spanking is
way
different to what you have experienced. Trust me," Coley added.

"You've got to be kidding! Are you both worried about really getting punished?" Rebecca couldn't help but smile. The idea almost made her laugh out loud.

"Yes!" Coley shot back. "And you can wipe that smirk off your face. Trust me, you'll be in the same boat once Sawyer finds out."

"But he won't find out," Rebecca clarified. "And even if he did, I seriously doubt he would punish me. Not something I need to worry about, at least."

"That's what you think," Neely muttered.

"I thought you were starting to understand DD," Coley said. "Why are you acting so shocked by the fact that Neely and I are concerned for our backsides?"

Rebecca remained silent. Maybe she didn't understand DD. She had done some research, her friends all practiced it, but she really didn't understand why Neely and Coley were so anxious to face the men they loved. "What exactly is going to happen to you guys? What are Caine and Vance going to do?"

Neely groaned as she closed her eyes. Coley scrunched up her face and shook her head.

"What? Why do guys act like it's going to be so bad? Even if they spank you, it's just a spanking. No big deal."

Neely gasped in shock. "No big deal? You clearly have not been punished before! Chances are, my ass is going to be paddled with the dreaded hairbrush, paddle, or even Caine's belt."

For some bizarre reason, when Rebecca heard Neely mention Caine's belt, a little tingle happened between her legs as her butt cheeks clenched.

"Vance has a paddle for the more severe punishments. I feel it for the next couple days after it's been used on me. He'll probably plug me, too," Coley added.

Neely nodded, but Rebecca didn't understand. "Plug you? What do you mean?"

"Butt plug. Vance knows I hate getting a spanking with a plug in me at the same time. It makes it where I can't clench, or if I do clench, the plug is much worse. It's a no win situation."

A soft throbbing in her pussy had Rebecca confused. Why did the mention of a belt and a plug have her body aroused? Deep down there was a part of her that wished she had called Sawyer after all. Maybe she really wanted to see what this whole punishment thing was all about. Was she insane?

"How long do you think we're going to be here?" she asked, trying to change the subject. She looked around. She wanted to sit down, but she had the choice of sitting by Pirate Woman or the snoring one-shoed lady. Neither option appealed to her.

"Not long enough," Neely said as she crossed her arms and pouted. "I want as much time as possible to pass so Caine can cool down. He's not going to be happy that his wife has been arrested. I'm sure he knows many of these cops and is going to be embarrassed."

"Yeah, it didn't help our situation that you tried to name drop his name to get us out of trouble. They knew him, and I think that is part of the reason they brought us in," Coley added.

"I thought it would help get us out of it," Neely defended herself.

"You were too stoned to know anything," Rebecca shot out.

A loud snort, gurgle and choke from the one-shoed sleeping lady interrupted their chatter. Everyone remained silent for a few moments, taking in the situation.

Coley let out a sigh and leaned up against the bars of the cell. "I have to pee."

Neely surprised Rebecca by letting out a full-blown laugh. She continued to laugh even more as she said, "I can't believe we are in jail!"

Coley joined in the laughter, as did Rebecca. They were in jail for smoking pot like a couple of teenage girls. They stood in a cell that reeked of bodily fluids, with nowhere to sit unless they wanted to cuddle up with Pirate Woman or the one-shoed lady.

"This had better not make one of your books," Rebecca warned, in between giggles.

"Oh this is too good not to put down in writing," Coley said as she continued to laugh. "But seriously, I do have to pee."

Their giggles were interrupted by a police officer walking toward them. "I'm glad you gals find being in lock-up so amusing," the officer chided. He opened the door and said, "You are all free to go. But you have some unhappy men in the lobby waiting for you."

Rebecca walked out between Neely and Coley, who literally dragged their feet the entire way. She was embarrassed, and would have to apologize to Caine and assure him she would pay him back first thing in the morning. As they turned the corner to the lobby, she stopped in her tracks when she saw Sawyer standing with Caine and Vance—and man, did all three men look pissed!

It also didn't help the situation when the police officer threw them all under the bus. "These women were having a great time in the holding cell, laughing it up. I guess this is all fun and games for them." The police officer gave dirty looks to all three women and then left without saying another word.

"What in the hell got into you guys?" Caine's voice reverberated off the sterile walls of the lobby.

No one spoke. Rebecca watched both Neely and Coley look down at their feet, avoiding the disapproving stares of their men. Rebecca was no different. She had yet to look Sawyer in the eye.

"You got arrested?" Vance shouted.

Nothing but silence from all the women again.

"Well, you each have some explaining to do. We're going home. Now," Caine said as he grabbed Neely by the arm and pulled her into his embrace. Vance did the same with Coley. For a moment, as the men held the women, kissing their heads, their anger seemed to vanish.

Rebecca remained where she was, watching her friends go face the music. She knew Sawyer was still staring at her, but she couldn't bring herself to look at him. Embarrassment would be an understatement to describe her emotions.

"Rebecca," Sawyer said, as he walked up to her and placed his hands on both of her arms. "Why didn't you call me?"

"I-I," she stammered, "I didn't want to involve you in this mess. It was stupid, and… How did you find out?" She finally looked up into his face and saw disappointment. The look shot a pain through her heart as though a dagger had just been stabbed into her.

"Caine called me. He was furious, and said you all got arrested for public intoxication." He squeezed her arms more firmly. "Why did I have to hear about this from him?"
