Neither one of us knows.

Oh yeah, and there’s talk of commuting together but the timing is a bit difficult to coordinate . . .

She told me that some perv on the train copped a feel the other day

Didn’t mean anything by it. Just that I hadn’t really been thinking about it.

What would happen if I told her . . .

but I do feel this situation can’t drag on forever . . .

I think it’s cool to just take it slowly.

You guys talk romance?

Didja say that -----?!?! Didja didjaaaaa?!

The more she experiences stuff like that on the train, I sense that the more the wind will blow in Train’s favour . . . . . .

We talked a little bit about it while we discussed films

You’re pretty sure Hermes is single, right?

I was wondering what the deal was when she sent a rare early morning e-mail.

‘Perv copped a feel on train,’ it read.

She sounded really depressed so I tried my best to cheer her up via e-mail.

Then

‘Had I been there, it would never have happened’

‘But I can’t expect that from you’

‘Shall I take the train with you? Commute together?’

And we tried to work out how to coordinate timing and train stations but it doesn’t look possible. Too complicated.

Truth is . . . it’d be impossible for me to dress right every day . . .

You’ve really found a self-assurance that wasn’t there before.

I don’t see the Train Man who couldn’t decide whether or not to call Hermes.

You jumped over our heads and took a giant leap forward didn’t ya.

Makes me kinda sad but I’m happy for you.

I guess Train always had the courage.

He just needed the right opportunity.

Haven’t heard directly from her mouth that she is indeed ‘single’ ..

There’s a scene in Matrix 2 where Neo kisses another woman in front of Trinity and apparently, that scene gave her a bit of a shock. We talked about romantic relationships and such after we discussed that scene.

By the way, she said that if she’d been Trinity, she would have died from shock.
And me, I said ‘I don’t know because I have no experience’
→ ‘You’re joking’ was how it went, basically.

Why don’t you just ask her whether she has a boyfriend or not?

Say something like ‘I thought it would be wrong of me to keep asking you out to dinner if you had a boyfriend’

I guess you’re not gonna be telling her how you feel for a while, which means we’re in for a long battle-! But it looks to me when I hear what Hermes is saying, that she knows how Train feels and that she’s struggling to come to terms with it.

If you tell her now, she may say ‘let me think about it’ . . . at least that’s how it looks to me.

I will fire myself up for tomorrow.

Honestly, Mr Tren doesn’t need our help anymore.

We’re gonna fall victim to Tren’s anti-depression bombs and get depressed ourselves as we retreat back into our gloomy thread.

It could be that we’re finally returning to our true states.

. . . blessed us with a visit after some shut-eye Mr Tren, eh . . .

First let me just charge straight into this commuting together bit tho it may get long . . . can’t you try . . . even if it’s difficult for you . . . to commute with her? You don’t have to worry too much about your work clothes. All you have to wear is a basic suit, no? If you don’t own a lot of suits, just get 7 or so shirts and that way even if you don’t do laundry every day, you’ll have enough to wear something different every day

I think that even if it is a bit on the difficult side, you should step up as a man and be her knight in shining armour. These perverts on the train tend to really terrify women and you can’t escape the fact that you’ve been knighted as the Train Man already. If saving her from a drunk was the reason you met, then why not step up to the task for real!

And as far as boyfriends are concerned, if the conversation went this way it must mean she doesn’t have one. Besides, if she had a boyfriend, she would never complain about not having anybody to go restaurant-hopping with. She’d also be asking her boyfriend to protect her from the train perverts, no?

Train, this is your chance!

You can see Hermes every day!

If you do, then you can get to know her better and better!

You figured out last week that you can basically talk about ‘anything’, no?

Well, I’m sure the story is that Train has to get to work earlier than Hermes but . . . I think you should attempt the first two days of the week by asking your work whether you can come in a bit late on those days.

If you do end up commuting together, I think you will score extra points.

Mr Tren, this is the way to go (plant your flag dude).

Just woke up. And just made a reservation at the hair salon.

I plan on talking to her about commuting together The problem is that the station she gets off at and my station are on different lines, not to mention the fact that they’re far apart, so if I were to ride all the way with her then I would definitely be late for work. Bottom line is that if we’re gonna do this, then we’re both gonna have to get up early.

Plus, if we go early then we would be missing rush hour traffic . . .
