“God, Eden, you’re so fucking sexy.” He pushed his hand under her neck, grabbing a handful of her hair. He gently pushed her head forward, angling it so she could see what he saw. “See how easily I glide into you, how your pussy accepts me, wants me. I told you we’d fit. We’re fucking perfect for each other. You were made for me, Eden.”

His words rolled over her as she gazed down at where their bodies met. She’d never seen anything so erotic. His cock glistened with her arousal and he moved the hand that had been holding her hip and started to caress her clit, flicking it gently with his fingers. Eden threw her head back, unable to look anymore once he started working on her. “I want us to come together, baby, so you need to tell me when you’re close.”

“Oh God, Seb, I don’t know, I’ve never….” She gave up the rest of the sentence. But Sebastian knew what she was trying to tell him and helped her.

“I know, baby, you’ve never come from a cock inside you, you’ve never come from anything besides your own touch. Not only was I the first to take your pussy, but I’m going to be the first man to give you a real orgasm. You have no idea how much pleasure that gives me, Eden. You’re going to come for me, I know you are.”

Sebastian’s fingers worked furiously, rhythmically pulsing against her clit as his cock continued to fill her over and over again. She could feel her orgasm building and growing inside her, deep below her core. It grew, and the more Sebastian whispered his
dirty
words into her neck, telling her how hot she was, how tight her cunt was, taking his cock, letting him fill her, she welcomed the feeling and rocked her hips forward to meet his thrusts, wanting him to pound into her more and more. She felt as if she could never get enough of him, that he would never get close enough to appease her need for him, the need that was growing stronger and stronger.

Sebastian felt her shift, and the sudden gush of wetness that enveloped his cock let him know she was close. “Come on, Eden, come for me now. Come for me as I fill you up.” It was all she needed and she cried out his name, pulling her knees higher as her body rocked underneath. Her orgasm spread through her like wildfire, and she clung to Sebastian as he grunted into her shoulder. His hips
pummeled
her and he bit into her shoulder as he stiffened. Eden cried out again as she felt the sting of the bite coinciding with the feeling of him emptying into her.

He
lay still on top of her, barely holding himself up. She could feel his chest heaving against hers and she pulled him closer, never wanting to lose the connection between them. Finally, when they had both stilled and regained their breath, Sebastian slipped out, brushing his lips against her forehead as he did so. “I’ll be right back, love.”

Eden shivered,
suddenly
cold without his warm body pressed against hers. She was still too dazed to sit up and look for him. But he returned a few seconds later.

“Spread for me, baby.” She was still too sated to feel any embarrassment and she let her legs fall apart. She looked up when she felt a warm cloth between her legs. He was cleaning her up. “As much as I love seeing my come on you, I’m sure you’ll be more comfortable all clean.” He disposed of the washcloth before climbing back on the bed and pulling her up against him, spooning her close to him. “Anyway, I already left my mark on you.” His lips brushed against the mark he’d made on her shoulder. Darting his tongue out, he peppered kisses along her shoulder and up toward her ear. “I like how it looks on you.”

Eden was too tired from her orgasm to respond. Her lids became heavy and she fell asleep to the feel of Sebastian’s lips on her neck and his hands rubbing small circles along her arm. He had marked her. What did that mean? Mara was right, she had so much to learn about men. Or at least about the type of man Sebastian was.

Chapter Thirteen

Eden woke to find the room filled with orange light from a warm summer sunset and Sebastian gone from her side. She had fallen asleep, spooned against him, an arm holding her tight. But now the bed was cold and she sat up,
suddenly
afraid.

“I’m here,” Sebastian said, and she
realized
he was standing on the small balcony with his back to her. She wished she could see his face, see his expression and decipher what he was feeling. Did he want her to leave? Was her worst nightmare coming true—had Sebastian used her for one thing and one thing only? She replayed his words in the elevator— there would be no turning back. That was not a promise of commitment or longevity. Eden would have no one to blame but herself for interpreting Sebastian’s words for more than they were.

“I didn’t want to wake you. You looked so peaceful.” He spoke again as he turned to her and walked back toward the bed.

Sebastian wore a pair of silk
pajama
pants, leaving his muscular, tattooed torso bare. His words were soft, but his eyes had that icy sheen that made Eden so unsure of herself—it was as if something dark and destructive was seeping out. It scared her, but there were also moments when it turned her on, when she knew that there was little she could do to control what was between him. Eden knew there was no chance of anyone controlling Sebastian Stone, which
led
her to conclude that Sebastian would be controlling her. He certainly had commanded their
sex
.

“When you look like that, what are you thinking?” She felt like such a cliché as soon as she’d asked, but she had to know.

“I was thinking about the men who hurt you.”

She turned away from him, irritated that her past would have any place in his room, especially after what had happened between them. The day so far had been amazing,
mind-blowing
even, more than she had ever dreamed it would be. “Please don’t think of them, Sebastian. I try not to.”

“It’s not in the way that you think, Eden. I don’t like men who take things that aren’t theirs, who use violence to get what they want.” Something in his voice made Eden
realize
that he wasn’t just talking about her attackers anymore.

“Who does?” She wanted him to stop talking now and kiss her, make her feel the mind-numbing joy she had felt when he made her orgasm. She did not want the past to be dragged in the bedroom with them.

“Come,” he said, holding out his hand, his entire
demeanor
changing. Gone was the cold, brooding Sebastian, and in his place stood the man who she had been wrapped around hours before. She glanced down at the sheet she was holding her against her,
suddenly
embarrassed at him seeing her completely naked again. Her dress was still in the hall, as were her bra and panties. Sensing her hesitation, he walked to the en-suite bathroom she hadn’t even
realized
was there and came back with a black silk dressing gown that matched his own
pajama
pants. He held it open for her, making no attempt to avert his eyes and she emerged from the bed.

“Is this for all your overnight guests?” Eden joked, half-hoping she was wrong. She knew Sebastian had a past, but she was still surprised at the sting of jealousy she felt in that moment.

“I don’t have overnight guests, Eden.”

“Oh right, I get it.” That was her cue—find her dress and get the hell out of there. He clearly was waiting for her to go.

“No, you don’t get it. Come.” Taking her by the hand, he
led
her in into the open plan sitting room and across to the large kitchen, where she found the island covered with two bottles of champagne and Greek food. “I know you’re not a foodie, but we both missed lunch and now it’s dinner. So dig in.” Sebastian positioned her on a stool in front of the island and he grabbed a champagne bottle to open. She sat, intrigued about where this had all come from. She filled her plate with stuffed fig leaves, artisan rye bread, goat cheese, and grilled prawns that had been marinated in honey. She
realized
she was starving.

“I get the impression that you think I’m some sort of man-whore.”

Eden froze. Had he actually just said “man-whore?”

“I never said that. I just assumed…I saw some stuff on the
Internet
. I mean, most of the personal info available about you is about your dating life, for lack of a better description.”

“And you trust everything you read on the
Internet
?”

“No, but I guess, if I’m honest, I thought it fit. Single, suave international bachelor—with an English accent! I mean, what am I supposed to think? You must have women throwing themselves at you.”

“The bachelor thing…” Sebastian seemed to be mulling over her response. Had she been too honest? Sebastian couldn’t possibly think she was interested in his company. He knew who her father was and he was bound to have come across his name in his work. “Being successful and single at my age seems to automatically mean I’m a compulsive commitment-phobic
sex
fiend.”

“I suppose that does seem to be the reputation of most successful men. But then what about all the women who you are photographed with?”

“I have to attend high profile events frequently, often for a job I’m working. They are often black tie and they usually require a date so I have a cover. I usually don’t sleep with those women. They’re often friends of friends who are attending the same event, or even colleagues that I think might benefit their career attending them. And yes, I could go by myself to these things, but then that of course would simply start a different type of
rumor
. And could compromise
security
if it looks like I don’t fit in.”

“Hmm, you
usually
don’t sleep with those women.” Eden smirked at him. She may be naïve, but she wasn’t stupid.

Sebastian’s gaze remained firm and he didn’t respond to her attempt at
humor
. “I’m not a monk, Eden. Yes, I sleep with my dates sometimes, but I don’t have a little black book hidden in my desk for when I’m in the mood. I don’t spend time making sure I have
one-night
-stands lined up for every night of the week. I’m not a man-whore. I felt it was necessary to explain this to you since you have the wrong impression of me.” He handed her a glass of champagne.

“No, thanks. I don’t really drink.”

Sebastian’s face looked puzzled. “You lived in Scotland for a year and didn’t drink? Impressive!” He
finally
laughed.

She felt her face flush red. “I don’t usually drink because it makes me lose control. I don’t like the way it makes me feel.”

Sebastian looked at her while he filled a glass and slid it across to her, staring at her as he did so. She understood that he was challenging her to defy him. There was something about Sebastian that made her not want to disappoint him. She touched the stem of the glass with her fingertips, remembering how she used to love champagne.

Sebastian’s face softened and he came around the island until he was standing behind her. He wrapped his arms around her gently. “You still haven’t figured it out, Eden. With me, you’re able to lose control. That’s why this works. It’s one of the main reasons it works.”

“What works, Sebastian? What is this?” She twisted out of his arms and turned to face him, gesturing at the space between them like she had done in the park the day before. She wanted answers
suddenly
. Why did she always feel that Sebastian always knew more than her, even when it came to her own emotions? “I’m not asking if we’re exclusive or if you’re seeing other people, although you already know that I’m not seeing anyone. I’m not asking you to call me your girlfriend or whatever, but I would like to know what you think this is, considering what we just did. Especially since we didn’t use a condom.”

“It’s just like I told you in the elevator, there’s no turning back.” He held onto her robe and pulled her toward him, moving to kiss her on the mouth.

Eden pulled away just enough to free her mouth from his. “I don’t want to turn back.”

“Good, because you’re mine now,” he whispered, and pulled her toward him again, this time with more force, and she felt him wanting her, his erection barely contained by the silk
pajamas
. He pulled back slightly and picked up her champagne glass, slowly raising it to her lips. He tilted it up and she carefully sipped, although not carefully enough, and the cool liquid slid down her chin and neck. She couldn’t help but smile as his lips moved down her neck, licking it off her. He tugged at her belt, just opening the robe enough to snake his arms around her naked waist.
