He seemed to read her mind because a moment later, he'd swept her into his arms and transferred her from the window to a large dining table in the suite's living quarters. Sofia didn't resist when he laid her on her back, but she groaned in frustration when he disappeared into the bedroom.

“It should make you feel better that I wasn't prepared for this,” he said, tearing into a foil condom wrapper when he reappeared.

It did make her feel better, but she'd feel even better when he was inside her. She didn't say that, though. Her language skills were still fried from his oral dexterity. Isaac's craft should win awards, she decided. Sofia's eyes drifted down to watch as he slipped off the last material barrier between them. This was the second time this week she'd been treated to Isaac au naturel. His body had changed in their time apart. There was nothing boyish about his chiseled six-pack or the broad shoulders that led to sculptured biceps, but things hadn't changed where it really counted. All seven and a half inches were present and accounted for. Sofia scooted closer.

Isaac flashed her a smile—it was all Hollywood. Full of gleaming teeth and irresistible charisma. Bending down, he wrapped his hands around her ankles and guided her knees up so that her feet rested on the table's edge.

“This plan of yours might backfire,” he teased her. “I'm not sure I'll be able to drag myself away from this view in time for morning call.”

“I guess I'll have to visit you on set,” she purred, noting with satisfaction the effect her words had on him. It was nice to know she wasn't the only one going crazy with anticipation.

He reached forward and scooted her ass to the edge of the mahogany table. Sofia felt exposed and vulnerable and deliciously bare as he ran his palms down the backs of her legs. When he reached her knees, he stepped forward so that his tip skimmed down her wetness. Her hips moved involuntarily, angling to give him a better point of entry, but he shook his head.

“Not yet, princess.” He winked at her. “I need to enjoy this for a moment.”

“Do you torture all your girls this way?” she huffed. It wasn't terribly mature, but maturity had gone the way of the something when something.

He leaned forward so that he entered her but only by an inch—only enough to make her teeth sink into her lips. “Only the ones that have been torturing me for the last five years.”

“Six,” she corrected with a groan. It had definitely been six years since she'd felt this. She hadn't been keeping a running tally or anything. It was just that this was something that was hard to forget.

“Six,” he repeated. “Tell me—have you thought about this during that time?”

He grinned at her as he asked. She didn't even need to answer—they both knew the truth. “No. Not at all. I've had a string of completely mediocre lovers to distract me.”

“What a coincidence.” His grin widened. “So have I.”

How, after all this time, could they still be so comfortable with one another? Sofia didn't remember the last time she'd actually cracked a joke in the bedroom. Of course, she also didn't remember the last time she'd had sex with the lights on or on a nonmattressed surface. It was making it too easy to remember why she'd avoided real relationships since he'd left her. There was no way to handle feeling like this all the time. It was overwhelming to be so open with someone else. The trouble was that it was also very liberating.

“About that,” she murmured, biting her lip and giving him her best pout—the one he'd never been able to resist before, “isn't it time we broke those streaks?”

“I suppose we have all day,” he conceded. Isaac's hands hooked around her thighs more forcefully and he drove into her with one smooth push. A giggle escaped her as she marveled at the fullness of him.

He paused. “You're going to give me a complex if you laugh.”

Isaac didn't need any more complexes judging from his latest antics so she put on a serious face. “It was a good laugh. I just couldn't help but think that mounting is such an appropriate term for how that felt.”

“So you liked it then?” His eyelids hooded as he spoke. He was clearly already lost to the moment.

“Oh...yes...” It was an answer and a response as he began to pump inside her. It felt as if an eternity had passed since a man had made her feel like this and somehow as if no time had passed between her and Isaac.

Although years of diligent personal training had certainly had an effect. Isaac's lean hips driving against her proved it. Sofia felt her body tightening, her muscles coiling with exquisite tension as he moved with flawless precision. Her legs wrapped around his waist, urging him on as she pressed harder against him. As she neared the edge, he let go of her legs and slid an arm under her waist, drawing her mouth to his. Pleasure coursed through her at the touch of his lips, her body unraveling in Isaac's arms. He groaned as she came but didn't stop kissing her, even as she felt his body tense and release.

Sofia collapsed against him, breathless and satisfied. For a second, neither of them spoke. Isaac buried his face in her hair and they lingered in the postcoital bliss. It wasn't supposed to be like this, she thought. Not with all their baggage. It wasn't supposed to feel this good—or this right—but she couldn't deny that it did. Alarm bells sounded in her head, but she ignored them. She wasn't a girl anymore. She knew what she was doing.

At least that's what she told herself.

Chapter Six

Isaac finally broke the silence, extricating himself carefully from the vise grip of her thighs. Although he would have been happy to stay there all day if his body didn't have other plans.

“Have you eaten?” he asked hopefully, flashing his most winning smile. The very one that
Maxim
had voted most likely to melt panties.

Fia's eyebrows shot up incredulously. Apparently she was immune to its effects, which only made him smile wider. This was already shaping up to be the best day off he'd had from shooting in a long time and it wasn't even noon yet. At least he didn't think it was. He'd lost track of time. Hell, he hoped it wasn't. He had many more things he wanted to do to her before he had to be back on set tomorrow.

“I ordered breakfast,” he reminded her. “And I don't know about you, but I could use some energy.”

“I ate before I came.” A smile played on her lips, and she didn't move.

“This is why you're here to fix me,” he teased. “Clearly, you're better at being an adult than I am.”

“I get cranky if I don't eat.”

“Me, too,” he said in mock seriousness. “That's why I might need seconds on my first breakfast later.”

“First breakfast?”

His eyes traveled down to her still-naked pussy and he grinned. Fia shook her head. “You're trouble.”

“If I wasn't I wouldn't have the sexiest woman in the world spread naked on my table.” It might have sounded like a line if he hadn't meant it entirely. Isaac had seen more than a few naked women in his life. He was a bit of a nudity globetrotter. He'd seen more than his fair share of skin and felt more than confident that he had some expertise in the area.

He wandered over to the room service cart and tossed the lid off the serving plate. Most of it would be cold by now, but he didn't care. Shoving a piece of American bacon in his mouth, a slow smile crept over his face when he spotted the bowl of fresh fruit. Thankfully the Westminster Royal was the type of hotel that served only the best and freshest food. If they hadn't been so meticulous, he might not have been inspired. Scooping up the bowl, he trod back over to the table.

Fia blinked up at him lazily. “I'm really not hungry.”

“Good,” he said. Leaning over he kissed her full on the lips. When he pulled back, her eyes were closed in anticipation. “I have a theory that you taste sweeter than this—” He drew a strawberry from the bowl and placed it between his teeth. Holding it there, he dipped back down and ran the juicy berry over her bee-stung lips. She licked off the juice involuntarily and moaned.

Well, that was hot. Abandoning the bowl of fruit he hovered over her, tracing down her chin to the hollow of her throat with the fruit. Fia's eyes stayed shut, but she squirmed as the cold fruit made contact with her hot skin. Isaac's dick stiffened, already ready for round two. If she didn't fix him, she was probably going to kill him. There was only so much sexy that a man could handle. He continued past her navel, trailing the fruit to the very apex of her seam. He stood and admired the trail of juice artfully created down her pale skin. Popping the rest of the strawberry in his mouth, he chewed it thoughtfully as Fia squirmed under his gaze. She peeked at Isaac, her eyes glazed over with lust.

Isaac had to restrain himself from taking her again on the table. Instead, he kissed her once more and then began to lick along the trail he'd left behind. This time her hands found his head, and she knit her fingers through his short hair, clutching him closer as his mouth strayed from the trail and to her breasts.

“I ignored these before,” he murmured as he nuzzled her soft pink nipples. “That was very, very wrong of me.”

“As long as you see the error of your ways...oh...”

Her body arched up, seeking more contact with his body. He swept her into his arms. “Fuck breakfast.”

“No, fuck me,” she suggested.

There was no need to ask him twice.

* * *

Sofia positioned a feather pillow behind her back as Isaac reappeared with the room service cart. She clapped her hands as he picked up the tray and presented it to her.

“I don't think I've ever been this hungry,” she admitted, pretty sure he could hear her stomach growling.

“Me either.” Isaac's tone was suggestive as he stole a kiss.

She pushed him away, shaking her head. “Food. You need to be on set in an hour.”

“Actually I was thinking about food.” He dropped onto the bed beside her. “I think I have a twenty-four-hour fasting limit. I'm disappointed in myself.”

“Man can't live on pussy alone,” Sofia pointed out, buttering a biscuit.

He tickled her stomach. “Not yet. One can only hope evolution takes its proper course.”

“How do you get anything done with your libido?” She pushed him away and moved the tray between them as a precaution. They'd started to order food at least three times yesterday. At one point, they'd got as far as getting dressed to go out before they'd wound up pressed against the hotel room door. A physical barrier might be the only hope they had of not screwing themselves to starvation.

“I assure you that I'm not a walking Viagra ad all the time.” His mouth quirked into a crooked grin as he stole the other half of her biscuit. “You bring it out in me.”

“I hope not, because I think you're supposed to see a doctor if your condition persists longer than four hours.” She swatted away his wandering hand again and slipped out of bed to pour herself a cup of coffee.

The papers she'd ordered were waiting in a stack next to the pot. Scooping them up, she grabbed her coffee and climbed back into bed. They had a little over an hour until they had to be on set. Which gave her time to get some rest and get caught up.

“Interesting reading material,” Isaac said, eying the stack of tabloids and magazines Sofia had asked the concierge to send up this morning. “I pegged you as a
Wall Street Journal
type.”

“Not enough celebrity fodder,” she said with a mischievous grin. She held up a tabloid. “This is like my own personal help-wanted ad.”

“But you already have a gig, and...” Isaac trailed off. He stared for a moment before snatching the paper from her hands.

“Hey!” She grabbed for it, but he held it away from her as he examined its headlines.

“Fuck,” he said so slowly that the word grew additional syllables.

“Your Southern is coming out,” she warned him.

“It always does when my chivalry is insulted.” He frowned and turned the tabloid around so that she could look at it closer.

Fuck
didn't come close to covering it. Sofia couldn't think of a damn thing that
did
cover it, so she fell back on snark. “Should I be flattered that they call me ‘a sultry siren' or insulted by what they're insinuating with ‘lured him into her depths'?”

It didn't really matter how she felt. On one hand, there was no way to tell who she was from the picture that accompanied the headline. They'd even been so kind as to blur the photo to hide her ass. This was why she was always advising her clients to invest in curtains.

“Christ, Fia. I'm sorry.” Isaac ran his fingers over his short hair. It wasn't easy to miss the obvious fury rising in his voice.

“Well, I know better than to fuck against the window,” she said with a shrug. It was imperative that she defuse this situation now. The last thing she needed was Isaac losing his shit with the paparazzi.

“We were in private!” he exploded.

Too late. He knew better than to believe that. Most celebrities did. The trouble was that no matter how much the media tried to desensitize them, most celebs insisted on having feelings. It was a good sign that Isaac still had a human response to a publicity scandal, but that certainly didn't outweigh the possible consequences. Not only was he pissed, but it wouldn't take long before someone put two and two together and not just any someone. Sofia knew her father was keeping tabs on Isaac.

That was going to be a fun heart-to-heart.

“If they can see you, it's not private,” she reminded him, choosing to ignore the inevitable awkwardness. “Hey, it's not that big of a deal. The story only emphasizes your sex appeal. It doesn't show my face.”

“I don't care what they think about me. I don't particularly like sharing you with them.”

It was a brutally honest confession and it took Sofia longer to recover from it than when she first saw the picture. Things were getting too real. She needed to distract him stat.

“What's the fun of taking me against the window if no one sees?” she purred. She shoved the tray out of the way, making a note to leave a tip for housekeeping as it crashed to the floor. In a flash, she climbed on top of him, pushing him back against the mattress. She rolled her hips, grinding herself against his pelvis. Isaac clutched her ass, urging her forward until she was hovering over his face.

Mission accomplished
, she thought as he guided her pussy to his mouth.

“Yesssss,” she hissed, bucking against his tongue as he devoured her. “Oh my god. If mainstream movies don't work out, I think you'll still have a future on-screen.”

Isaac chuckled against her sensitive flesh. The vibrations of his laughter sent a tremor fluttering across her skin. She'd had more than a few lovers who couldn't find the right spot, but Isaac could write a guidebook.

Tension built in her body, her limbs contracting with promise as his tongue circled her clit. Sofia's head fell back as she began to loosen, but then he stopped. Before she could protest, he'd flipped her onto her back. In one smooth motion, her ankles were over his shoulders and he was pressed hot against her.

“We're out of condoms,” he panted. “I can call the front desk.”

She shook her head desperately. They were on the fourteenth floor. That was fourteen floors too long to wait. “I'm on the pill.”

“I'm clean—” he began.

“I know. I have your file, remember?” she said. Medical tests were required before shooting began. Her father insisted on it. She'd never understood why nor had she cared before, but she was glad now.

“You sure?” he asked. His eyes were crazy with lust, and she had no doubt hers reflected a similar state.

There was a first time for everything, and it wasn't as if she didn't know him. Sofia nodded.

He slid inside her with a groan. “That is fucking amazing,” he growled. “Your pussy is my happy place.”

She wasn't sure if it was the unprecedented intimacy or how horny she was or his dirty mouth, but she almost came on the spot. Fisting her hands into the sheets, she held her orgasm at bay. She wanted this to last as long as possible.

“It's too good.” Isaac plunged in and out of her with deliberate slowness that only built the delicious agony in her body. “Don't...want...to...stop.”

“Don't,” she ordered, her command nearly lost in a sudden gasp of pleasure as he filled her once more.

Isaac's hands massaged her breasts as his pace increased. Together they spiraled, losing control and Sofia fell and fell and fell as he took control of her. His name was on her lips as she came. But he didn't follow her. Instead as she fell, boneless and overwhelmed back against the pillow, he withdrew and maneuvered her onto her stomach. Guiding her ass into the air, he sheathed himself inside her in one smooth thrust.

“I have been dying for this to happen since you walked back through my door.” Isaac pulled back but not out and let out a low whistle. “You know why you're my princess?”

Sofia suspected the nickname had come from being her father's daughter. She was considered Hollywood royalty by some. It hadn't occurred to her that the term might actually be one of affection. Not until now. She wasn't sure how to feel about that, but she didn't object to how he was making her feel right now.

“Because everything about you is superior. Regal. From the way you walk into a room like you own everyone in it to—” his hand caressed the curve of her ass “—this perfect ass. It makes me want to kneel down and serve you.”

“Mmmmmm...” There was no way she could come again so soon, but that didn't mean she wanted him to stop.

“Touch yourself,” he instructed her. “I want to watch you come.”

“No,” she moaned. She was too swollen and sensitive.

“Now, princess—” he smacked her ass lightly “—I won't ask again.”

It took all her remaining strength to reach between her legs. Her fingers fumbled against the slickness of her arousal and slowly she began to rub the tender spot.

“That's it,” he coaxed as he sank deeper. Isaac stilled, holding her hips steady until she began to writhe against him. Apparently it was a day for the impossible. Maybe she should buy a lottery ticket, but the thought was wiped from her mind as he began to pump into her. He climaxed with a guttural cry, and the warmth of his orgasm filled her, pushing her to her own.

Impossible.

Not anymore
, she thought as they collapsed onto the bed together.

Isaac rolled to his side and tipped her chin up with his index finger until their mouths met. It wasn't a hungry kiss. It was a satisfied one, the kind shared by lovers, not fuck buddies. It was warm and welcome. Urgent and unhurried. Despite the near total numbness eclipsing her body from two orgasms so close together, a thrill fluttered in her chest. She drew back, startled, but quickly covered her surprise.

“You're going to be late, and we're both going to stink of sex if we don't get in the shower.”

“I'll never make call time if we get in the shower together.” He traced her jawline, his eyes smoldering with the promise of his words.

Sofia searched for a response in the haze of postcoital ecstasy, confusion and feelings flooding through her. She knew Isaac wasn't a normal guy. Put simply, he was just more. More man. More drama. More everything. And if she wasn't careful she was going to get caught in his whirlwind. “Then I'll finish reading these and see you on set later. Besides it will only give the hounds more ammo if we leave together.”
