knew she surprised him when she suddenly broke away from his grip. “Hailey?” he
said, but she turned away from the tempting picture of his handsome,
desire-flushed face, and turned sharply on her heels.

“I
can’t…I can’t do this,” she said, throwing it over her shoulder as she made for
the door. Was she crazy or stupid? What the heck had been in that brandy
anyway?
Because she was acting so out of character.
