Ty let out a breath he hadn’t realized he’d been holding. “Good. Play with your tits.”

She did it without protest, rubbing her small hands over her sweet mounds of feminine flesh, throwing her head back in delight. Ty knew he was leaking precome onto the blanket, thought he might even lose it entirely from watching Summer touch herself. He didn’t care. Right now he wanted to see Summer come more than he wanted to prove to her he was some kind of stud, that he could play harder, last longer than anyone before him.

“That’s it, babe. It feels good, doesn’t it?” Ty dipped his head and swirled his tongue around the shell of her ear. She quivered and gasped, her inner muscles tightening around him. “Oh yeah, you’re coming now. Let it happen.”

She let out a long drawn-out cry as her body convulsed, grabbing at his fingers. Ty bit her earlobe, her neck, marking her in this moment so she’d never forget it. Summer reached down and placed her hand over his, pressing it tighter against her as the spasms shook her.

He growled, “Say my name.”

“Ty! Oh, Ty.”

A tear glistened at the corner of her eye, and Ty kissed it away, pressed his lips to her closed eyelids, her nose, her cheeks. Finally he took her mouth and swallowed the last of her ecstatic cries into him, wanting to bring all of her into him somehow, so they’d never be apart again.

Never apart.
The words tried to kill his euphoria, and Ty pushed them and their unwanted implications away. He refused to think about tomorrow, or next week and his plans to leave Leyton’s, the reality that this thing had a predetermined end.
Not tonight.
He wasn’t going to think about consequences when his hand was coated with Summer’s cream and her cries of satisfaction still rang in his ears.

Even with his erection now causing him acute pain, Ty figured he could stay right where he was for hours, the rest of the night, and be happy. Then the husky sound of Summer’s voice made him change his mind.

“Please tell me you brought a condom down here with you.”

Ty laughed, his own as-yet-unspent desires making it come out strained. “A woman after my own heart.”

Summer ignored the way Ty’s use of the word
heart
made her own leap. It felt as though it had expanded in her chest somehow, but she couldn’t deal with any effects this experience had had on her heart yet. She didn’t want to get bogged down in anxiety when her body felt so
good.

As Ty reached into his wallet and extracted a foil packet, Summer used the moment to take stock. She’d had an orgasm. An unbelievably explosive, wondrous orgasm. Before tonight, she’d thought she’d had them on her own but now she realized, no. Those had been like calm ocean swells, mildly uplifting, pleasant. Nothing at all like the tumultuous tsunami that had just engulfed her. Even now her pussy continued to flutter like a bird trying to take flight. She placed her hand over the spot Ty’s had recently vacated, rubbing the swollen nub between her folds.

Yes.
She could actually do it again. Amazing.

Summer opened her eyes to find Ty’s avid gaze trained on her hand. His now-sheathed cock thrust straight and thick from his crotch. The sight of it made Summer hunger in a way she never had before. She smiled. “You made me come.”

Ty’s answering smile was nothing short of cocky. “Yeah.”

“You were very bossy.”

He arched a brow. “It seemed to work for you.”

Oh, God, had it ever. Now to see if that went both ways. “Lie on your back.”

“I want you bad, Summer. Now.”

Summer drew her panties and her scrunched-up dress down her legs. Ty’s hot stare followed her every move. “Don’t you trust me? Lie back.”

His expression falling somewhere between bemused and irked, Ty nevertheless flopped on his back on the blanket, allowing Summer to straddle his hips. Grasping his hard dick, Summer aimed it at her entrance and began to lower herself.

“Oh, Jesus
Christ.
” Ty’s fingers dug into her hips, trying to pull her down, harder, faster. “Don’t tease me, babe, I can’t take it.”

Sensing she was going to soar the second she was fully impaled, Summer held herself still, feeling the spasms already beginning in her pussy. She placed her palms flat on Ty’s rock-hard chest, her fingers splayed over that red heart tattoo.
Don’t think about his heart or yours, just feel how good this is.

“Ty?”

He met her gaze, his whole body straining with the need for her to move. “Yeah?”

Summer smiled, for a split second letting herself love the scruffiness of his hair, the glimmers of gold in his hazel eyes, and most of all the naked want written all over his face.
I don’t think I’ve ever stopped loving you.
She shoved the thought away and said, “Thank you.”

“Don’t thank me.” He reached up to cup one breast. “Fuck me.”

Summer obliged, pushing her hips down, swallowing Ty’s hardness into her softness. They cried out in unison at the fulfillment of it, the frustration. Summer waited only an instant before she began to move. Using her hands on Ty’s chest as leverage, she pumped him.

Her muscles quivered, her blood surged. God, was it another orgasm or the same one? Summer didn’t know or care. She rode Ty, hard, filling her body with him over and over. They were naked on a public beach, moonlight raining down. A stranger could stumble upon them if they went exploring. Summer didn’t care about that either. She cared about nothing except how Ty made her feel.

Full, exhilarated, alive.

“Summer, Christ I’m sorry. I’m gonna come.”

At his words, Summer let herself go, unaware until that moment that she’d actually been holding back her climax, when for so many years she’d searched for them in vain. Her clit pressing into Ty’s abdomen pushed her the last distance. She came around him as he surged inside her, his guttural moan telling her he’d released himself.

Breathing fast, Summer collapsed on top of him. Ty’s arms came around her and squeezed, so hard she almost lost her breath altogether. “Holy hell, Sum. That was…”

When his words vanished, Summer tilted so she could place a kiss against his chest. “I can’t believe I came twice. You must be some kind of magician.”

“Nah, it was all you.”

Summer thought the credit belonged to both of them, as though maybe they were better as a team than they ever could be separately. The notion made sadness burrow deep into her, but again she pushed it away.
Concentrate on the now, what you do have, and not on what you will lose.
“I need to do that again.”

“No shit. What’d I last, all of ten seconds?”

The disbelief in his voice made Summer laugh. “Aw, don’t worry, I won’t tell anyone.”

“Just in case you drink wine again one day and get all blabby, I think I’d better make sure I do better next time.”

His confirmation that there would be a next time gave Summer the confidence to lift her head and meet his gaze. “Will you take me back to my place and stay with me?”

He winked. “I kinda assumed.”

Summer slapped his chest and Ty laughed. Summer didn’t think there was any sound more magical, more welcome to her ears, than Ty’s laugh.

Dear God, Summer. You’re hopeless.

“Open your eyes.”

The voice came to Summer as though from far away. Through the fog of sleep she fought to comprehend if it was a dream voice or a real one.

“Come on, babe.” Ty’s morning stubble scraped rather pleasantly across her cheek. “Wakey, wakey.”

Okay, so a real voice. She actually had spent half of last night tangling in the sheets with Ty, having orgasm after orgasm. Smiling at the reminder, she stretched her body, finding aches in places she hadn’t known could ache so nicely.

“Aw, don’t do that. You’ll distract me.” Ty’s hand curved around her breast and treated it to a little squeeze that gave her tingles. “Surf’s up.”

Summer wiggled closer to him and felt the hard bulge of his penis brush against her hip. “I assume that’s a euphemism?”

Ty chuckled. “No, the report says the swell at Byron is going to produce a killer curl this morning. We should go.”

Beginning to realize he was serious, Summer frowned and opened one eye a fraction. “It’s still dark.”

“It’s predawn.”

Summer groaned and snuggled deeper into her pillow. “Ty, I haven’t surfed in ten years.”

“You’re kidding.” His voice was affronted. “I did not spend all those months teaching you so you could squander your skills. You were good, Sum.”

His praise warmed her. “I always figured you used to say that to be polite.”

“Since when have you known me to be polite?” Ty toyed with a strand of her hair. “I used to love watching you. There’s nothing sexier than a girl in a bikini on a surfboard. Come on, I don’t want to go without you.”

Something burst open and melted all through Summer’s chest. She suspected it was her heart. “Oh, Ty.” In the dim gray light she reached up and touched his cheek, bringing him down for a kiss. Against his lips she asked, “Aren’t you tired?”

“I got a few hours’ sleep—when you let me.” She felt his lips curve against hers. “You are one insatiable fuck machine, Miss Campbell.”

Summer tried to be offended by the crude description, but found her reaction was closer to pride. She had been pretty unstoppable. Discovering that sex could be as lusty and fulfilling and freakishly wonderful as she’d heard it described in books and earthy rock songs was bound to have that effect on a girl.

Ty moved down until his tongue found the pulse point at the base of her throat. When he licked it, her pulse sped up under the wet caress, pumping Summer’s blood to all those places that were still sweetly aching from having received more attention than they ever had. Her nipples gathered into tight knots, something that didn’t go unnoticed by Ty. When he transferred his wet tongue to that spot, Summer cupped the back of his head to hold him close.

Breathless, she said, “Are you sure you want to go surfing?”

Ty lifted his head. Resting his chin on her stomach, he looked up at her. “You made me feel pretty damn good last night, Sum.”

That thing in her chest got all warm and runny again. “You made me feel
fantastic.

“When I feel good, I surf. It’s what I do.”

“So what do you do when you feel bad?”

Ty flashed his smile. “Surf, I guess.”

“So basically, you surf all the time. And sleep…?”

“Whenever. I crash in the afternoons sometimes—not when there’s a comp on. Then I can only sleep about four hours a night anyway.”

The description of his lifestyle reminded Summer how different they were. Summer liked the order, the security, of knowing her hours, her clients. Not to mention sleeping regularly. Ty’s entire life was built around the ocean and its whims.

He’s never going to give it up.
Ty loved to surf too much, and Summer suspected he loved the unconventional nature of the life he led. He wouldn’t retire early, or settle down with a wife and two point four kids. He’d keep riding waves and traveling the world until his body couldn’t take it anymore. Then he’d probably shack up with some beach bunny on an island somewhere, spend the rest of his days selling boards to new kids starting out.

Summer couldn’t see any place for her in that life.

“Hey, what is it?”

Realizing her sorrow must have shown on her face, Summer pushed aside thoughts of the future and pasted on a seductive smile. She’d lose him to the ocean soon enough. If she had anything to say about it, it wouldn’t be this morning. “What do I have to do to convince you to stay right here?”

Ty’s eyes twinkled a warning a second before he slid down her body with exaggerated enthusiasm until his shoulders were wedged between her thighs. “You could let me do this.”

He lowered his head and placed his mouth against her triangle of pubic hair. The heat from his lips brushing over her and the eye contact he maintained while doing it sent Summer’s body into a fit of delicious quivers. Yet, she said, “I told you I’m not sure.”

When he’d tried to do this last night, she’d demurred, not wanting to do something that might not work when she’d finally found something that did. In the past, receiving oral sex had always made her feel awkward.

But Ty’s hot mouth moving over her sex felt good. His tongue even better as he sent it out to lick along the folds of her labia. He looked at her while his tongue moved, the determination in his glittering eyes a turn-on like Summer had never known. “You don’t have to be sure.
I’m
sure. I can make you come this way. Let me take care of you.”

How could Summer say no to that? She braced herself for his attentions, only to find the second his warm tongue traveled down to circle her entrance she nearly melted into the mattress. He slipped inside her, and Summer gasped, clutching the pillow either side of her head. He repeated the maneuver, again and again, dipping only a short distance into her channel.

Summer squirmed, loving the teasing contact but wanting more. Ty lifted his head, and she couldn’t prevent a sound of disappointment from escaping. He grinned. “You like it.”

“It’s nice.”
