The two wolves growled at each other before circling. Wren growled at Warclaw. The two wolves charged at each other again, each taking chunks out of the other. Soon a pool of blood started to form again on the ground. This was the exact spot where Winter’s blood had been spilled twenty years ago. Blood dripped down onto the dark sodden ground from the gaping wounds. Each and every bite was taking its toll on the other.

The gentle breeze had become rough, slowly getting stronger as the two wolves fought. Clashes of thunder could be heard as they fought. Lightning bolts would flash in the sky. Rain belted down upon the earth, just like it had the day of Winter’s death. Warclaw had gotten Wren onto his back and had his paw on Wren’s shoulder, holding him down firmly. Warclaw spoke darkly “How does it feel to be at deaths doors? How does it feel knowing that you’re going to die and there’s nothing you can do about it? It’s not nice is it?” Warclaw laughed evilly. “You’re going to get what you deserve! I’ve killed every last one of them, making you feel the pain and suffering I’ve felt for so long. You’ve watched me kill your loved ones one by one and now it is your turn to perish into this earth! Say your last goodbye Wren. It’s over!!”

Watching the life drain out of Wren, Warclaw smiled realising that he had accomplished what he wanted to do for the last two decades. Wren’s eyes were going black and his chest stopped moving and that was it. Wren was another victim. Warclaw had had the revenge he had wanted. Looking around him, Warclaw saw all the lifeless corpses and he knew that it was time to move on. Warclaw had finally ended all the pain and suffering that was inside of him. Now it was time to move on and forget the past. He had had his revenge, and not it was chance to start afresh. Warclaw walked off, leaving all this death and destruction behind.

As Warclaw walked off into the horizon, the Atlas Crystal shone brightly on the ground. It sat a waiting for its next victim. A waiting for another wolf to take it.

On a cold winter’s day, a young wolf looked down upon the ground and saw a shinning object sparkle beneath the snow. The young wolf dug down to where the shinning object was. The young wolf picked it up. Its eyes went dark red and whilst looking back to its pack, the young wolf smiled...
